Dearly beloved brethren, always remember, God’s Words in the Bible are eternal, unfailing and unchanging.

Over and over the scriptures emphasized it and it was affirmed by our Lord Jesus Christ. See it yourself.

Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Psalms 119:89 For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.

Psa 105:8 He hath remembered his covenant for ever,the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.

Isa 40:8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth:but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

1Pe 1:23 — 1Pe 1:25 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. 24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: 25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

Concerning thy testimonies [ laws and decrees ], I have known of old [ earliest days ] that thou hast founded them for ever. – Psalms 119:152

Everything on this earth shall be burnt, but the words of God shall abide forever.

It is because of this, that the scriptures reveals the right attitude you must have to God’s eternal unchanging words.

2Pe 3:10 — 2Pe 3:14 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

King David’s perfect understanding about the eternality of God’s word, made him to ensure his life complies with God’s words in absolute obedience.

Psalms 119:1 Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD. 119:2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart. 119:3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways. 1

Psalms 19:9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. 119:10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. 119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Beloved you also must embrace this right attitude to the word of God in the Bible, because they determine your eternal well-being.

John 12:46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. 12:47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

The good Lord shall help you to be wise unto salvation in Jesus name.
