Dearly beloved brethren, over and over in the Bible, saints of God and Bible believing believers like you are encouraged to pray unto the Lord’.

In addition, they are assured of answers to their prayers. See some of these promises.

John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

John 14:13-14 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

John 16:22-23And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you. 16:23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.

Matthew 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Luke 11:9-13 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. 11:10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 11:11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? 11:12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

Isaiah 65:24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

Luke 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

King David’s awareness of God’s readiness to answer the cry of his saints, took advantage of this, to cried to the Lord, when he was challenged.

He promised to continue to keep God’s words, if he answered his prayers. See it yourself.

The Bible further revealed that, he had cried unto the Lord in the time past and God had given him, his requests.

Psa 18:6. In my distress I called upon the Lord,and cried unto my God:he heard my voice out of his temple,and my cry came before him, even into his ears.

Psa 56:9 When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back:this I know; for God is for me.

Beloved, like king David was persuaded of answers to his prayers from God, you also should be persuaded and begin to take your requests to God in prayers.

As you do so, you will receive speedy response from God in Jesus name.

Psalms 50:15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

So go and do likewise.
