And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. And I will give him the morning star. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Beloved, in your preparation for the dawning rapture, see what lessons you learn from the forth church. Things to embrace and appropriate and emulate.
Also things to avoid, to ensure your eternal well-being is guaranteed.
Our Lord sent this message to the church at Thyatira, one of the selected churches in Asia at that time.
Revelation 1:11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
The message as usual was addressed to the angel of the church.
Rev 1:19 — Rev 1:20 Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter; The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
However, in addition this particular message is meant for the entire universal church of Christ, all through the church age until the time of the rapture.
That was why seven churches were selected. Remember seven means totality, finality,, completeness and perfection.
No wonder at the end of every message, the world He that hath an ear , let him hear what the blessed Holy Spirit says to the churches.
Revelation 3:6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Revelation 3:13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Revelation 3:22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Praise God you are one of the churches bought with the precious blood of Jesus Christ our Lord and savior.
Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
Not only so, you have an ear, that is the reason why you in particular was sent to.
Revelation 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
See what our Lord sent to this church.

Before we begin to check the details, remember, this message is imminent. It could take place very very shortly.
Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
Rev 22:10 — Rev 22:12 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
You are supposed to be single minded and focus your mind on the essence of the lessons this message is to produce in you.
By the grace of God the raptured saints shall be crowned and position around the throne of God..
These saints sre represented or signified in the book of Revelation as the twenty four elders. You shall surely be one of them in Jesus name.
Rev 4:1 — Rev 4:4 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
From the scriptures, you have discovered that these elders were saints redeemed with the precious blood of Jesus Christ, when they were on the earth.
Rev 5:4 — Rev 5:10 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
With this background, see how our Lord Jesus Christ introduced Himself to the angel of the church. It is very frightening. See it.
Revelation 2:18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;
From this introduction you can perceive that the spiritual estate of this church, displeased our Lord.
To start with this church was established by apostle Paul. He saw a revelation to come over to Macedonia and help them and he went with his team.
Act 16:9 — Act 16:10 And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us. And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.
When He got there He ministered to a woman that the Lord opened her heart. See it.
Act 16:14 — Act 16:15 And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul. And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought us, saying, If ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide there. And she constrained us.
This was the way this church began at Thyatira.
But then the situation in the church has degenerated, so our Lord sent a fearsome message to the angel.
Before we continue, lets talk about you. You are a member of the church of Christ as well as leader of the people in your world of influence.
See two lessons to learn from the angel.
1. Paul apostle referred to himself as the angel to the Galatians church. See it.
Gal 4:13 — Gal 4:14 Ye know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first. And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus
2. Angels are ministering spirits. They minister to you and other saints in the universal church of Christ.
Heb 1:13 — Heb 1:14 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
To partake in the dawning rapture, you too must be preaching the gospel like Paul apostle and ministering like the angels. These exactly are the things, Jesus said you should be doing till He comes in the time of the rapture.
Believe me failure to do these can disqualified anyone. See it.
Luke 19:13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.
Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Luk 24:47 — Luk 24:48 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things.
Your failure to preach the gospel amount to flagrant disobedient to the express commandments of Master Jesus.
John 13:13 Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
Luke 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
Mat 7:21 — Mat 7:23 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
In addition, the blood of those you failed to preach the gospel to shall be required from your hand.
Ezk 3:17 — Ezk 3:21 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.
See your spouse is not born again. If anything happens, hell is where he or she is going to. Your Children are not born again, you are busy pursuing temporal ephemeral. You will be shocked what Jesus shall do with you.
Your parents are not born again, when they die and go to hell, you will gather friends and associates for celebration. You deserve pity.
Your siblings, close and extended family members neighbors and colleagues are not born again and you are not concerned.
You need repentance, for you to be able to partake in the dawning rapture, wake up.

Revelation 2:18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;
In this city, they worship the Sun god. Apollo, the sun god, was the chief deity at Thyatira, where he was worshipped under the Macedonian name of Tyrimnas. There is, perhaps, a reference by contrast to him in the epistle, in the opening description of the Son of God.
Members of this church are guilty, of eating, things sacrifice to idol which is displeasing the Lord.
By whom it was sent: by the Son of God, who is here described as having eyes like a flame of fire, and feet like as fine brass.
Rev 1:13 — Rev 1:15 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
His general title is here, the Son of God, that is, the eternal and only-begotten Son of God, which denotes that he has the same nature with the Father, but with a distinct and subordinate manner of subsistence.
The eating of things sacrificed to idols was happening, because of the inadequacy of this angel. No marvel, our Lord revealed Himself as the Son of God, set to judge their idolatry..
Revelation 2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
This attitude is sinful because they are partaking in the table of the Lord and that of the devil.
1Co 10:18 — 1Co 10:22 Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar? What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils. Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?
The Lord said Jezebel was seducing His servants to commit fornication.
Revelation 2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
Who are these servants? See it.
Revelation 7:3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
Revelation 22:3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
Pause here and check your self. Do you also eat things sacrificed to idols? Like the Muslims yearly festival? And others? You must stop it. God is very displeased with it.
The description we have here of him is in two characters:– (1) That his eyes are like a flame of fire, signifying his piercing, penetrating, perfect knowledge, a thorough insight into all persons and all things, one who searches the hearts and tries the reins of the children of men and will make all the churches to know he does so
That his feet are like fine brass, that the outgoings of his providence are steady, awful, and all pure and holy. As he judges with perfect wisdom, so he acts with perfect strength and steadiness.
Revelation 2:23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
Despite the despicable spiritual estate of this angel and some members of the church, our Lord commended their good attributes.
Revelation 2:19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.
Thyatira there is much love, but a carelessness about false doctrine.
They were patient and endure challenges but tolerated idolatry.
Although some of the members of this church were given to licentious lifestyle of the Nicholatians , others sustained their moral lifestyle of Christ likeness and biblical standard. They were commended by our Lord, who eyes can see all things.
Rev 2:24 — Rev 2:25 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.
Beloved, it doesn’t matter what the universal church globally has turned into. You can be distinguished.
You can be living like Samuel, Joseph, Daniel, Job, Noah, Enoch.
These people despite the terrible and corrupt environment they lived. They were righteous.
Job 1:8 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
Ezekiel 14:14 Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord God.
You must be blameless and holy for you to be part of the glorious church, Jesus Christ our Lord is coming for.
Philippians 2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
Hebrews 1:9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
Jesus is coming for the glorious church alone.
Eph 5:25 — Eph 5:27 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
You are not supposed to be influenced by the multitude of nominal churchgoers surrounding you. Live exemplary lifestyle.
Tit 2:11 — Tit 2:14 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
See what Jesus said to these saints in corrupt environment again.
Rev 2:24 — Rev 2:25 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.
Beloved, let’s come to the Crux of the matter. See the rebuke of Christ on this angel and the members of the church.
Rev 2:20 — Rev 2:2Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
To start with, what does the Bible says about Jezebel? See it.
1Ki 21:25 — 1Ki 21:26 But there was none like unto Ahab, which did sell himself to work wickedness in the sight of the Lord, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up. And he did very abominably in following idols, according to all things as did the Amorites, whom the Lord cast out before the children of Israel.
She was a powerful influencer, who stirred up others to do evil.
This was exactly what was happening in this church. A powerful influencer left unchecked by the angel of the church. And so she corrupted the church.
She lead them into the sin of the Nicholatians. Saying it doesn’t matter what you do with your body. God only looks into the heart.
Because the pastor was unable to check her, she led the church into apostasy.
It is not said that Jezebel receives sympathy or encouragement, but merely that she is let alone; her wickedness is left unchecked, and that is sinful. .
All that is indicated is that the angel of the Church at Thyatira is suffering from the tolerated presence of a baneful influence, as did Ahab, “whom Jezebel his wife stirred up”
In any case the error represented by the name is closely akin to that of the Nicolaitans and to “the doctrine of Balaam” Whatever differences of detail there may have been, all three made Christian liberty a plea for an antichristian licence which claimed to be above the moral Law. And she teacheth and seduceth the members of the church.
Jezebel “despised the riches of Christ’s forbearance and long suffering, not believing that his goodness led her to repentance”
Rom 2:4 — Rom 2:6 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man according to his deeds
Five things must have been responsible for this.
1. Fear of the baneful influencer.
Pastor, parents, friends, you must never ever fear anybody, whoever they are more than God.
This was the undoing of the first king in Israel.
1 Samuel 15:24 And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the Lord, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.
You do not tolerate a negative influencer in the church, in the family or in your life.
You silenced them , you censure them or possibly excommunicate them. You deny them or stop them from ministering to the church.
Paul apostle did not give room for such in his lifetime. See it.
Gal 2:4 — Gal 2:5 And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage: To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you..
Tit 1:10 — Tit 1:11 For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre’s sake.
See the example of our Lord Jesus Christ. He silenced Peter immediately, when he wanted to be a bad influencer.
Mat 16:21 — Mat 16:23 From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
Those negative influencers most times don’t know that , they are being used of the devil to derail the church from doing the perfect will of God. They want to bring the church into permissive will of God.
2. Don’t love anybody more than God. Whoever they are.
Mat 10:34 — Mat 10:39 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

Don’t be a man pleaser. Please only the Lord at whatever cost.
Galatians 1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
4. Never sacrifice purity on the altar of peace. You might be accused for not following peace. They don’t understand the Bible. You are peaceable to the people that embrace purity.
James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
5. Don’t hearken to any counsel after God has given you specific instructions. That was what drove Adam out of paradise on earth.
Gen 3:17 — Gen 3:19 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
It is the undoing of Abraham. He also paid dearly for it. God compelled him to harken to Sarah and drove Ishmael away. See it.
Gen 16:1 — Gen 16:2 Now Sarai Abram’s wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar. And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the Lord hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.
Beloved, check up are you a negative influencer in your church or family?
You need to repent to avoid judgement of God.
He is taking longer time, because He wants you to repent.
Our Lord gave Jezebel a long time to repent to avoid both earthly and eternal punishment.
She and her children are to be visited with sickness and death, because they will not repent, and the others with tribulation, if they do not repent. Her doom and that of her children is certain; that of her victims may yet be averted. Moreover, the one seems to be final, the other remedial.
Rev 2:21 — Rev 2:23 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Ecc 8:11 — Ecc 8:13 Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.
