Colossians 1:28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
Beloved, is there any time you heard about misfortune or calamity coming upon a saint either in the Bible days or in our contemporary time? Whenever you read or hear about such, I beseech you, to always probe and discover the root cause of the calamity or misfortune. You will always discover something, that God will always be absolved of negligent, but always the child of God or the saint would be found wanting.
There are innumerable promises in the Bible where God faithfully promped to ensure His own children are adequately protected. See some of them..
Joshua 1:9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
Psa 121:6 — Psa 121:8 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
Heb 13:5 — Heb 13:6 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
Beloved whenever a child of God get into avoidable calamity or misfortune, see what happens. Such a person might have tried to take God for granted and paid dearly for it.
Watch out against disobeying the warnings of the Lord. It has steep consequences now and also at eternity.
Judas did not heed the several warnings of our Lord Jesus Christ. He ended in he’ll.
Lot”‘s wife failed to heed the warning iot the Lord after deliverance from destruction of fire of Sodom. She became a pillar of salt.
Genesis 19:26 But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
Adam lost Eden because he failed to heed the commandment of God.
Gen 2:16 — Gen 2:17 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
The young prophet from Judah was slain by lion after fulfilling miraculous ministry. He failed to heed the warning of God.
1Ki 13:24 — 1Ki 13:26 And when he was gone, a lion met him by the way, and slew him: and his carcase was cast in the way, and the ass stood by it, the lion also stood by the carcase. And, behold, men passed by, and saw the carcase cast in the way, and the lion standing by the carcase: and they came and told it in the city where the old prophet dwelt. And when the prophet that brought him back from the way heard thereof, he said, It is the man of God, who was disobedient unto the word of the Lord: therefore the Lord hath delivered him unto the lion, which hath torn him, and slain him, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake unto him.
Beloved see the exhortation of the Lord to avoid such calamities or misfortune.
Deuteronomy 32:29 O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!
Proverbs 19:20 Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.
Beloved the Bible is full of warnings, that can deliver you in particular from any misfortune here or hereafter. See them.
Pro 8:32 — Pro 8:36 Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways. Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoso findeth me findeth life,and shall obtain favour of the Lord. But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.
Jeremiah 6:10 To whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear? behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: behold, the word of the Lord is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it.
Ezk 3:17 — Ezk 3:21 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. Ezk 33:4 — Ezk 33:9 Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul. But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand. So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me. Beloved God shall keep you from misfortune and calamity, here and hereafter in Jesus name. But always heed His warnings.
Proverbs 1:33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.
Dearly beloved, if there was ome very usual way Jesus our Lord protected His followers during the Bible days or even now. It is by given them timely warnings. If you remember the shameful denial of apostle Peter. It was his refusal to heed the warning of our Lord. You can avoid such things by determinedly heeding every warning from Jesus. See some of them.
Luke 12:5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
Mat 24:21 — Mat 24:25 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before.
Mar 13:33 — Mar 13:37 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
It is heeding these warnings and avoiding misfortune here and hereafter, by all believers, most especially you, that made the blessed Holy Spirit to inspire apostle Paul to write this all important warning. See it.

1 Timothy 4:6 If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.
Dearly beloved make a firm resolve today to always heed the timely warnings of the Lord written in the Bible or given to you by His faithful ministers. It will guarantee your safety and averting, avoidable misfortune or calamity here or hereafter. It is well with you in Jesus name.
Friend, the rapture is dawning and imminent. It shall not catch you in particular unaware in Jesus name. Because this shall be so,you must not be a carefree believer who is not taking timely warnings of the Lord very seriously. See some of these timely warnings.
