August 29, 2019 – Enrich and Sustain your relationship with Jesus reading our daily devotional – HE WILL SURELY COME AGAIN… Are you ready to meet with Him?
1Th 4:15-17 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Beloved, God is reputed not to be a liar. Every word that proceeded from His mouth shall always be fulfilled in its season.
Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
He has a time frame for all things..
Isaiah 60:22 A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation:I the Lord will hasten it in his time.
Some few saints were extra ordinarily favoured in the time past. They were carried back to heaven in an unusual ways. See them.
1. Enoch was carried back to heaven without seeing death.
Gen 5:22 — Gen 5:24 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
Hebrews 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
2. Elijah also experienced the same thing like Enoch.
2 Kings 2:11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
3. Our Lord Jesus Christ also was taken to heaven, however, after He died and resurrected.
1Th 4:13 — 1Th 4:14 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
These privileges that these three people experienced was however promised in the time table of God to happen to multitude of dead and living believers in a distant future. This was referred to in the new testament as catching up of the saints or the rapture. See it.

Beloved, I am sure you are adequately preparing for it. This is because it could even take place as you are reading this message of devotion. Be wise to prepare adequately. It shall happen suddenly without notice.
1Co 15:51 — 1Co 15:52 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
The good Lord shall help you to partake in this glorious imminent event in Jesus name.
Dearly beloved, Jesus during His earthly ministry promised the Bible days believers and by extension the believers of all ages, which include you a unique visitation. He promised to revisit them and received them to Himself, either after they have died or while they are still alive. See the promise.
Jn 14:1 — Jn 14:3 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Remember this unique privilege was meant only for His followers. The old testament saints apart from Enoch and Elijah, never had this gracious and glorious privilege. This is the reason why you should do everything it will take for this glorious event not to elude you. It shall not in Jesus name.
It was this glorious promised visitation of Jesus to the dead and living believers that the blessed Holy Spirit through apostle Paul was revealing. .Our Lord Jesus Christ called it receiving believers to Himself, the blessed Holy Spirit calls it, being caught up to meet
Jesus in the air.

This same glorious event was reaffirmed in other scriptures.

2Co 4:13 — 2Co 4:14 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
The Bible also referred to it as being delivered from partaking in great tribulations. See it.
1Th 1:9 — 1Th 1:10 For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true
God; And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
Rev 3:10 — Rev 3:11 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
Dearly beloved, knowing fully that God will fulfill everything the scriptures says in its season. Be adequately prepare for this promised imminent event. It shall not elude you in Jesus name.
Isaiah 34:16 Seek ye out of the book of the Lord, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them
Friend, no doubt the message of the dawning rapture is no more news to you. You are persuaded about it. This also informed your daily preparation. This particular passage reaffirmed it’s imminence and certainity. See it.

Because of this, take advantage of His sufficient grace to always live a godly lifestyle, in anticipation of the imminent coming of the Lord
Tit 2:11 — Tit 2:13 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
In addition, live with eternity in view till you see Jesus and be ready like the five wise virgins.
Col 3:1 — Col 3:4 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
Also labour to prepare members of your world of influence to partake in the rapture too.
1Pe 5:1 — 1Pe 5:4 The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
Daniel 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
Finally live a lifestyle of biblical purity till He comes.
1Jo 3:1 — 1Jo 3:3 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
