Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | October 17, 2020 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour – Psalms 112:9
Dearly beloved brethren, this is the Crux of the matter. This is the essence of Christian faith. The one major proof that Jesus of the Bible is resident in you.
Jn 13:34 — Jn 13:35 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
Why did God the Father, Jesus Christ our Lord and the blessed Holy Spirit severally exhorts those that are professing religion and you in particular, to love one another?
It is because the poor shall not cease from the land. In all the countries of the world, USA, UK, Europe , Asia and Africa, the poor are every where inside and outside of the church.
Deuteronomy 15:11 For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.
Psalms 112:9 He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever;
his horn shall be exalted with honour.
Pro 19:17 He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord;and that which he hath given will he pay him again.
Proverbs 3:27 Withhold not good from them to whom it is due,
when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.
Pro 11:24 — Pro 11:25 There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth;
and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty. The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.

Gal 6:9 — Gal 6:10 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
Heb 13:1 — Heb 13:3 Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body
Hebrews 13:16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
Jam 2:15 — Jam 2:16 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
1Jo 3:16 — 1Jo 3:18 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour – Psalms 112:9
Beloved check up. Are you a Bible believing believer? Are you helping the needy, especially the brethren of Jesus?
Mat 25:34 — Mat 25:40 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour – Psalms 112:9
