Grace is, therefore, God’s unmerited favor – His goodness toward those who have no claim on, nor reason to expect, divine favor. Though the principal manifestation of God’s grace is in our SALVATION but there are other dimensions of GRACE that makes a man supernatural on earth.
Zechariah 4:6-7. Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts. Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.
Beloved, glory to God for bringing you to this new month. You shall march forward. You shall go higher. You have compasses this mountain enough. Now is the time to move on to the North. That is going higher and forward. These shall be your portion this month and beyond in Jesus name.
Deuteronomy 2:2-3. And the Lord spake unto me, saying, Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.
But then as you move on remember the following:
1. Look always to God and not the arms of flesh. They will always fail, but God remains faithful.
Isaiah 45:22. Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
2. Reach out to Him alone , in believing prayers whenever you sight any challenge or obstacles.
Psalms 50:15. And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
Isaiah 65:24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
3. To avoid costly mistakes of the past, seek God’s guidance before embarking on anything.
Jeremiah 33:3. Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
4. Rest on God totally. He is all you need for everything and in any circumstances.
Isaiah 40:28-30. Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
5. He will ensure you do not lack any desirable good things of life.
Psalms 34:10. The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.
Psalms 84:11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
Beloved, why do you need to know all these? This was the reason why God used Zechariah to tell Zerubbabel, the governor, who in his days was intimidated by a mighty king, stopping him and the Jews, from building the temple of God in Jerusalem.
He was encouraged to look heavenward and depend solely on the invincible might of Jehovah, who alone was able to surmount every opposition and resistance to what, they were doing. As you also journey in this new month of March and beyond.
Remember whenever any opposition comes your way, look heavenward and depend solely on the might of your Father in heaven. He will never fail you in Jesus name. The mighty king was dealt with by God and the temple was built and completed.
NEVER EVER TRUST IN CHARIOTS OR THE STRENGTH OF ANY ARMS OF FLESH.
Psalms 20:6 -8. Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORDour God. They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.
Isaiah 30:1-3. Woe to the rebellious children, saith the Lord, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin: That walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt! Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion.
Isaiah 31:1-3. Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the Lord! Yet he also is wise, and will bring evil, and will not call back his words: but will arise against the house of the evildoers, and against the help of them that work iniquity. Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When the Lord shall stretch out his hand, both he that helpeth shall fall, and he that is holpen shall fall down, and they all shall fail together.
But depend solely on the unfailing faithfulness of the invincible God, who helped Zerubbabel to surmount the great mountain. He will surely do same for you too in Jesus name.
See how the scriptures affirmed severally, to encourage you to trust God and God alone to address every challenges that might come your way until Christ comes.
2 Chronicles 32:7 -8. Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there be more with us than with him: With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.
Psalms 33:16: There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.
Psalms 33:20 -21. Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he isour help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
Psalms 44:3: -7. For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them. Thou art my King, O God: command deliverances for Jacob. Through thee will we push down our enemies: through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us. For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me. But thou hast saved us from our enemies, and hast put them to shame that hated us.
Beloved as you do this, the victory of Christ, shall be your continual portion and you shall triumph continually too. So shall it be in Jesus name.
1 Corinthians 15:57. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 2:14. Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
Dearly beloved, Jesus Christ your Lord did not just died to save believers alone. He does more for them. He remains the only timely, tireless succourer and helper of believers of all ages and you in particular in every conflict and battles of life. It is true that this world is not a fun fare but warfare as confirmed by Jesus, Himself. See it.
John 16:33. These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Because our Lord had experienced same challenges during His earthly ministry, He knows how to help His people passing through difficulties in life. You need not despair at a time like this. All you need to do, is to cone boldly to Him, for timely help and you shall receive it.
Beloved are you presently going through any conflict? Then come to Jesus. He will help you.
Hebrews 2:18. For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.
Hebrews 4:14-16. Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
See the assuring and reassuring words from Him, to comfort you.
John 14:1-3. Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
John 14:18-19. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
John 14:27. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Matthew 28:20. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
John 16:20-24. Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy. A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world. And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you. And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
Hebrews 13:5-6. Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
Dearly beloved, not only will Jesus offers you comforting words, but also required commensurate action to address your challenges. See some of the timely and tireless deliverables, He did for others in the time past. Yours shall never be am exclusion in Jesus name.
1. The three Hebrews, timely delivered from the furnace of fire by Jesus.
Daniel 3:21-25. Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
2. Peter delivered before Herod could kill him.
Acts 12:1-11. Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church. And he killed James the brother of John with the sword. And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.) And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people. Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison. And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands. And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me. And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision. When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him. And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.
3. Paul and two hundred and seventy five others delivered from tempestuous storm.
Acts 27:18-25. And we being exceedingly tossed with a tempest, the next day they lightened the ship; And the third day we cast out with our own hands the tackling of the ship. And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope that we should be saved was then taken away. But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss. And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man’s life among you, but of the ship. For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee. Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.
Acts 27:37. And we were in all in the ship two hundred threescore and sixteen souls.
He remains the same. What He did for others, He will surely do for you. Reach out to Him, now in believing prayer.
Hebrews 13:8. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
JESUS CHRIST, THE TIMELY, TIRELESS AND WILLING SUCCOURER OF HIS PEOPLE. COME BOLDLY TO HIM.
Friend, if there is any reason why believers like you are fiercely challenged, it is to hinder you from partaking in the dawning rapture. But , be rest assured that, this counsel from the pit of hell shall come to nought in Jesus name. See what Jesus said.
Revelation 2:10. Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
Revelation 3:10-11. Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
Painfully and shamefully the Worldling and the nominal churchgoers are on their own. Their challenges shall overwhelming them and hinder them from partaking in the rapture. They shall not be able to receive help from God, because of the following reasons:
1. They really don’t depend on God, but the arms of flesh.
1 Chronicles 10:13-14. So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the Lord, even against the word of the Lord, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it; And enquired not of the Lord: therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse.
2. When God called them, they heeded not, so when they shall call, He also will not answer them.
Zechariah 7:13. Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the Lord of hosts:
Proverbs 1:24-31. Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.
3. They are like foolish virgins who failed to prepare for the coming of the Lord.
Matthew 25:1-3. Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
Matthew 25:8-12. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
But believers like you globally shall be ready and be part of this glorious event because:
1. They shall always receive help from Jesus the timely, tireless and willing succourer.
2 Corinthians 1:10 Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;
2 Timothy 4:17-18. Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
2. They have resolved to stay put with Jesus through thick and thin.
Romans 8:35-39. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Revelation 14:4-5. These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.
3. They adequately prepare for the coming of the Lord, like wise virgins.
Isaiah 33:15-17. He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil; He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure. Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.
Colossians 3:1-4. If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
The grace of God shall abound in your life to do all of these till Christ comes in Jesus name.
