September 9, 2019 – Enrich and Sustain your relationship with Jesus reading our daily devotional – Body exercises profits little but GODLINESS profits more.
1 Timothy 4:8. For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
Beloved, I thank God for you because you are a very wise person. Please continue to sustain your wise lifestyle,. It shall bring you immense benefits here and hereafter in Jesus name.
Pro 9:12. If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself:but if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.
Our Lord Jesus Christ reveal to us from the scriptures those that are wise biblically and those that are fools or foolish. See it.
Mat 7:24 — Mat 7:27. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
Beloved, anyone hearing and doing the words of Jesus are wise. Anyone not doing it are fools. Please pause here and be very sincere to yourself, by our Lord’s standard, are you a wise person or a fool? Should you discover that you are a fool according to Jesus’s standard. Repent now. Tomorrow might be too late..
The truth is that vast majority of those who profess religion globally are not wise. This is because they desire to live long, but not according to God ‘s prescribed ways. True ,God wants His children to live long. You shall live long in Jesus name.
Psalms 91:16. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
But then this promise is conditional. See it.
Pro 10:27. The fear of the Lord prolongeth days :but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.
It is only the people that fear God and depart from every reveal sins in the Bible,
Proverbs 3:7. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil
These are the only people that will live long. But sinners shall always be plagued with untimely death. This shall not be your portion in Jesus name.
Psa 107:17 — Psa 107:18. Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted. Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat;and they draw near unto the gates of death.
Beloved instead of the wise people like you to choose the pathway of God. They engage in bodily exercise to prolong their days.

Job 22:2. Can a man be profitable unto God, as he that is wise may be profitable unto himself?
A sinner can never be profitable if he or she opted for bodily exercise and not godliness.
Jeremiah 2:13. For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water
See how godliness shall. Prolong your own life as you resolve determinedly to do it.
Pro 4:20 — Pro 4:22. My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
If this is not what your lifestyle is presently look at what God wants you to do and live long.
2 Chronicles 7:14. If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal the land.
Remember to obey is better than sacrifice. God shall help you in particular to be wise and live long in Jesus name.
1 Samuel 15:22. And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
Dearly beloved, the Bible reveals so much details about our Lord. There is one word that summarised everything the Bible says about Jesus. It is godliness. See it.
1Ti 3:16. And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
The concise word that summarised Jesus our Lord from birth to His ascension back to glory was godliness.
Anyone that receive Jesus and through His vicarious sacrifice become saved and righteous become godly. But anyone inside or outside of the church who do otherwise is ungodly.
Pro 8:32 — Pro 8:36. Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways. Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord. But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.
This without any iota of doubt affirms that biblical godliness is very very profitable than bodily exercise.
Jesus our Lord said you should labour for what is profitable, as one of His wise followers . Labour for what guarantees your eternal wellbeing. Bodily exercise can not earn you life eternal, only godliness does. So labour for it.
John 6:27. Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
The blessed Holy Spirit who desires earthly and eternal fulfilment for believers of all ages, especially you, encouraged you to opt for godliness instead of bodily exercise that has transient value.

See how other scriptures affirmed this.
1Ti 6:6. But godliness with contentment is great gain.
1Ti 6:11. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
2Pe 1:3. According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
2Pe 1:5 — 2Pe 1:7. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
Receive grace to pursue biblical godliness as contained in the scriptures and be blessed here and hereafter. This shall surely be your portion in Jesus name.
Friend, if sincerely you want to be part of the dawning rapture, you are going to determinedly pursue virtues that guarantees your eternal wellbeing. One major virtue that determines your eternal wellbeing is biblical godliness.
2Pe 3:10 — 2Pe 3:14. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
So be obedient to the scriptures and separate yourself from anyone and everyone who profess to be a believer, but lack biblical godliness
2Ti 3:1 — 2Ti 3:5. This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
1Co 5:9 — 1Co 5:11 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
Friend, till Jesus comes for your give attention to eternal things and not transient things with no eternal value.
