Beloved it is not an exaggeration or an over statement that multitude in the church today, which must never include you are following idolatry and not the God of heaven and the God of our Lord Jesus Christ.

It is because of this, that informed the several exhortations from our Lord Jesus Christ and the blessed Holy Spirit, that , those who profess religion and you in particular, must avoid idolatry and it’s eternal consequences.

Mat 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Luk 16:13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

1Co 6:9 — 1Co 6:10 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

1 Corinthians 10:14 Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.

1Jo 5:21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

The lots of idol worshiper now and at eternity shall be sorrow.

You shall have endless joy for a lifetime and blissful eternity. Because of this avoid determindly, all forms of idolatry.

Psalms 16:4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.

But then, who is an idol worshiper according to the scriptures. An idol worshiper is :

1. Anyone inside or outside of the church,who has Divided love between God and Mamon.

Luk 16:13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Hosea 10:2 Their heart is divided; now shall they be found faulty: he shall break down their altars, he shall spoil their images.

2. An idol worshiper is anyone inside or outside the church, who loves anything more than God. He would choose to separate from God than leave anything the Bible reveals as contrary to God’s perfect will..

2Ki 17:32 — 2Ki 17:33 So they feared the LORD, and made unto themselves of the lowest of them priests of the high places, which sacrificed for them in the houses of the high places. They feared the LORD, and served their own gods, after the manner of the nations whom they carried away from thence.

2 Kings 17:41 So these nations feared the LORD, and served their graven images, both their children, and their children’s children: as did their fathers, so do they unto this day.

Genesis 19:26 But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

Mat 26:14 — Mat 26:16 Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests, And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver. And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him.

3. An idol worshiper is anyone inside or outside the church, who is serving Christ but very coveteous and doing everything to gain the world at all cost.

I praise the Lord for you because you are not cut in this hell bound attitude.

1 Corinthians 15:19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

Col 3:5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

Brethren a true bonafide Bible believing believer is anyone inside the church who loves the God of heaven and the God of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Dan 2:19 — Dan 2:20 Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven. Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his:

Dan 2:27 — Dan 2:28 Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, The secret which the king hath demanded cannot the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, the soothsayers, shew unto the king; But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are these;

Jn 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

It is this God that you must determindly love and obey and serve wholeheartedly for a lifetime.

Beloved it is only the Bible believing believers that are committed to loving and serving this God that shall inherit earthly blessings and the city of gold and have eternal fellowship with Him.

Gen 17:7 — Gen 17:8 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

Heb 11:14 — Heb 11:16 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

Rev 21:3 — Rev 21:4 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Revelation 21:18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.
