Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | September 21, 2020 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. – Psalms 84:11
Dearly beloved brethren, there are three things you must never forget as long as you are on this side of heaven.
1. The insatiable passion of our loving Father in heaven to dwell with saints of all ages, which must include you, for all eternity.
Rev 21:3 — Rev 21:4 AndI heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
John 17:24 Father I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
3. The premium price God the Father in heaven paid willingly and the priceless pain Jesus our Lord willingly suffered, for saints of all ages and you in particular, to live in glory with them for all eternity.
Heb 2:9 — Heb 2:10 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

Beloved, Heaven is real and you in particular must be there. Hell is real and you in particular must avoid it.
Proverbs 15:24The way of life is above to the wise,that he may depart from hell beneath.
Matthew 25:46And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
But then beloved brethren, there are prices you also must pay to get to heaven. The scriptures revealed them severally for all saints of all ages and you to have perfect understanding of them.
1. Christ must be in you for a lifetime to be with Him in glory.
Col 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
John 1:12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

2. You must receive grace through which you meet the requisites of living with Jesus in glory.

Tit 2:11 — Tit 2:12For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

See the requisites that grace shall enabled you to meet.
Psa 15: 1— Psa 15:5 LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle?who shall dwell in thy holy hill?H Hethat walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour. In whose eyes a vile person is contemned;b buthe honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not. He that putteth not out his money to usury,n nortaketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.
Psa 24:3 — Psa 24:4 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD?or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
Isa 33:15 — Isa 33:17 He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes,that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil; He shall dwell on high:his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks:bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure. Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.
Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Eph 5:25 — Eph 5:27 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord

2. In addition through grace you endure persecutions peculiar to all saints like you that shall live with Jesus in glory.
Rom 8:16 — Rom 8:18 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
2Co 4:17 — 2Co 5:1 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

Dearly beloved brethren, heaven is a beautiful place that you are going to be with God for all eternity.
Psa 84:1 — Psa 84:2 How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts! My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD:my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.
Hell fire is not an option for heaven. You can not, you must not trade it for an utter dark place of weeping and gnashing of teeth for all eternity.
Mat 8:12But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Mat 25:30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Beloved brethren, you have began a journey you can not afford to stop half way. God Himself promised to see you through. So determindly henceforth continue to the end.
Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
