Beloved, Saints of old that did exploits and brought glory to God and blessings to humanity were men who manifested biblical faith in God and God alone. They believed on Him wholeheartedly. You also shall do great exploits for Him, so follow their good examples. See some of them. Abraham, the three Hebrews and Daniel. Etc.
Genesis 15:6. And he believed in the Lord; and he counted it to him for righteousness.
Daniel 3:28-29 Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God. Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.
Daniel 6:23 Then was the king exceeding glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God.
Beloved, you shall always be blessed as you trust God, but curses comes on anyone, who lean on the arms of flesh.
Jeremiah 17:5-8 Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord. For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited. Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
Beloved, their is a pathway to receiving and growing in biblical faith. See it.
Romans 10:17. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Unfortunately, those in Bible days that lacked it, did not allow God’d words to profit them. Please don’t be like this people.
Hebrews 4:2. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
Always remember without faith you can not please God or receive anything from Him.
Hebrews 11:6. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Interestingly, only through faith in God shall you be able to contend with the devil and be kept secured by God.. So endeavour to grow in this faith.
Ephesians 6:16. Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
1 Peter 1:5. Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
Beloved, to get the best of God on this side of heaven, you must hold firmly to your faith and continually live by it.
Hebrews 10:23. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
Habakkuk 2:4. Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
Romans 1:17. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
Hebrews 10:38. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
Beloved see the exploits of faith done, by men and women of like passion in the Bible days. It is your turn to do same.
Hebrews 11:1-11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report.
1. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
2. By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
3. By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
4. By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
5. By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
6. Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
Hebrews 11:17-38 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.
7. By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come.
8. By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff.
9. By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones.
10.By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king’s commandment.
By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.
By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible. Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.
By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.
11. By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days. By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.
12. And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.
It is time to for you too to join the cloud of witnesses and do great exploits for God through faith in the name of Jesus, faith in the person of Jesus and the unfailing , eternal word of God.
Acts 3:16. And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
Acts 26:17-18. Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
Romans 10:17. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Hebrews 11:3. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Dearly beloved, during the earthly ministry of our Lord, He lived a lifestyle of biblical faith and taught bible days believers and by extension believers of all ages and you, the same thing. He was always looking heavenward for all things.,
Luke 9:12-17. And when the day began to wear away, then came the twelve, and said unto him, Send the multitude away, that they may go into the towns and country round about, and lodge, and get victuals: for we are here in a desert place. But he said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they said, We have no more but five loaves and two fishes; except we should go and buy meat for all this people. For they were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, Make them sit down by fifties in a company. And they did so, and made them all sit down. Then he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them, and brake, and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude. And they did eat, and were all filled: and there was taken up of fragments that remained to them twelve baskets.
John 11:39-44. Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me. And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.
See the divers ways through which, He taught all believers, biblical faith.
1. He saw the faith of the people following Him and drew attention to it.
Matthew 9:2. And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.
2. He emphasised that faith is a weightier matters to God.
Matthew 23:23. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
3 He always rebuked them sharply when they aced without faith.
Luke 8:25. And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.
4. He emphasised that what they receive from God is entirely determined by their faith.
Matthew 9:28-30. And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.
Matthew 9:22. But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.
Matthew 21:21. Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
5 He taught them on the categories of faith.
Little faith.
Matthew 6:30. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Matthew 8:26. And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
Great faith.
Luke 7:6-9. Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying unto him, Lord, trouble not thyself: for I am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof: Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed. For I also am a man set under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
Full of faith
Acts 6:8. And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.
Acts 11:22-24. Then tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch. Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord. For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord.
Spirit of faith.
2 Corinthians 4:13. We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
6. He helped them to increase and grow in their faith walk with God.
Luke 17:5 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.
2 Thessalonians 1:3. We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;
7. Most importantly, He emphasised their unwavering faith must be in God and God alone.
Mark 11:22-23. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
1 Corinthians 2:4-5. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
1 Peter 1:21. Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
8. He inquired of them whether He will find faith in them, when He comes in the dawning rapture? This same question comes to you too.
Luke 18:8. I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
No marvel the blessed Holy Spirit affirmed that every believer saved by grace has a measure of faith in their lives. You in particular have a measure of faith in your life. Do not behave or be acting faithlessly. So take advantage of the measure of faith God as given you and begin to do exploits for God. See what the scriptures says.
Romans 12:3. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
Romans 12:6: Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
Ephesians 4:7: But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
THE PLACE OF BIBLICAL FAITH IN DETERMINING EARTHLY AND ETERNAL WELLBEING OF BELIEVERS OF ALL AGES, ESPECIALLY YOU. ROMANS CHAPTER TWELVE VERSE THREE. PART TWO.
Friend, praise God you are resolute and daily preparing for the dawning rapture, having being persuaded that, the end time is here, going by the words of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because this is so, you must give attention to the place of biblical faith, which will determine. Whether you shall be part of this imminent event or not. You shall be part of it in Jesus name.
There are three things you needed to understand and commit yourself to, which will eventually help you to actualise your earnest dream of partaking in the dawning rapture.
1. You are saved through faith and not works. Saved entirely by your unwavering faith in the finished work of Christ on the cross of Calvary.
Ephesians 2:8. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
1 Peter 1:18-19. Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
Romans 3:24-26. Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
2. Faith is the platform through which you grow in Christlikeness.. If you really have been saved by the vicarious death of Christ, you must be like Him and be driven always to be like Him.
2 Peter 1:5-8. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Galatians 5:22-23. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
2 Corinthians 5:17. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
3. Being grounded in The Faith
See all these scriptures below. You will discover all of them are referred to as : THE FAITH..This alone is the essential and compulsory requisite for you to be part of the dawning rapture or to live eternally with God in heaven.
The meaning of The Faith is : believing and living by the totality of God’s words in the Bible.
Revelation 3:10-11. Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
See this important truth affirmed in the scriptures.
1.Your profession of faith must be hinged on the fact that you believe and you are living by the totality of the word of God as contained in the Bible.
Acts 6:7. And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.
Acts 13:8. But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.
Acts 14:22. Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
Acts 16:4-5. And as they went through the cities, they delivered them the decrees for to keep, that were ordained of the apostles and elders which were at Jerusalem. And so were the churches established in the faith, and increased in number daily.
Acts 24:24. And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.
Romans 1:5. By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:
1 Corinthians 16:13. Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
2. You must continually examine your self whether you are still living by the entirety of Gods eternal words.
2 Corinthians 13:5. Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
Galatians 1:23. But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed.
3. Your justification of saving faith must be rooted in believing and living by the totality of the word of God.
Galatians 2:16. Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
4. You must be living by the totality of the word of God till Christ comes.
Galatians 2:20. I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
5. Your confidence alone is in the entirety of Gods word.
Ephesians 3:12. In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.
6. You must be united with other believers in living by the entirety of the scriptures.
Ephesians 4:13: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
7. You must pattern your life after the entirety of God’s word in the Bible.
Philippians 1:27. Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;
8. You must continue believing and living by the totality of Gods word, till Jesus comes.
Colossians 1:23. If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
9. You must be built up in the totality of God’s words.
Colossians 2:7. Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
10. You must be a Bible believing believer.
1 Timothy 1:2. Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.
11. You must endeavour to remain sound in the entirety of the word of God till Jesus comes.
Titus 1:13 This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;
12. You must Earnestly contend for the entirety of the word of God in the Bible , even with your blood.
Jude 1:3. Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
The grace of God is sufficient for you to attain this. Receive it in Jesus name.
2 Corinthians 9:8. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
