Genesis 40:21 And he restored the chief butler unto his butlership again; and he gave the cup into Pharaoh’s hand: 40:22 But he hanged the chief baker: as Joseph had interpreted to them. 40:23 Yet did not the chief butler remember Joseph, but forgat him.

Dearly beloved brethren, always remember, whatever God permits in your life, is for your good.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

The butler forgot Joseph for two whole years after he was restored back to office, by Pharaoh.

EVERYTHING GOD PERMITS IN YOUR LIFE IS FOR YOUR GOOD || And we know that God causes all things to work together for good – Romans 8:28

However, God had not forgotten, Joseph, but the timing for the fulfillment of his dream had not come.

Habakkuk 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Hebrews 6:12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. 6:13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, 6:14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. 6:15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

Hebrews 10:35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. 10:36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. 10:37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. 10:39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 1:3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

Joseph was forgotten by the butler, because the time for the fulfilment of his dream had not come.

So like Joseph, please wait for God’s appointed time for your dream to be fulfilled.

Galatians 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
