Beloved, I pray for you and your family that you shall all continue to enjoy the ceaseless help of God till your old age in Jesus name. This is because our Father’s name is Ebenezer, the God that help His children till old age

1Sa 7:12 Then Samuel took a stone, and set it between Mizpeh and Shen, and called the name of it Ebenezer, saying, Hitherto hath the Lord helped us.

Isa 46:4 And even to your old age I am he;and even to hoar hairs will I carry you:I have made, and I will bear;even I will carry, and will deliver you.

But then do you know that some people inside or outside the church can never ever receive the help of God, our loving Father in heaven and Jesus Christ our Lord?

The undoing of these group of people is pride. Both on earth and in heaven, God shall resist and be separated from them.

Psalms 138:6 Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.

James 4:6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

1 Peter 5:5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

Both our Father in heaven and Jesus can only relate with those who are poor in spirit , they resist everyone who are proud in spirit.

Isaiah 66:2 For all those things hath mine hand made,and all those things have been, saith the LORD:
but to this man will I look,even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Always remember that both on earth and in heaven, only the humble shall receive the blessings of the Lord. But, you shall receive His blessings in Jesus name.

Isaiah 57:15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy;
I dwell in the high and holy place,
with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble,and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Mat 23:12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

1Pe 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

Beloved, see instances of the proud beings that were abased by God.

Queen Vasti, lost her royal position on account of pride.

Esther 1:19 If it please the king, let there go a royal commandment from him, and let it be written among the laws of the Persians and the Medes, that it be not altered, That Vashti come no more before king Ahasuerus; and let the king give her royal estate unto another that is better than she.

Est 1:10 — Est 1:12 On the seventh day, when the heart of the king was merry with wine, he commanded Mehuman, Biztha, Harbona, Bigtha, and Abagtha, Zethar, and Carcas, the seven chamberlains that served in the presence of Ahasuerus the king, To bring Vashti the queen before the king with the crown royal, to shew the people and the princes her beauty: for she was fair to look on. But the queen Vashti refused to come at the king’s commandment by his chamberlains: therefore was the king very wroth, and his anger burned in him.

King Nebuchadnezzar.

Dan 4:31 — Dan 4:33 While the word was in the king’s mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee. And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will. The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles’ feathers, and his nails like birds’ claws.

Lucifer, the arc angel that became satan on account of pride.

Isa 14:12 — Isa 14:15 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven,I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

Beloved, I am persuaded you are not a proud person and you shall not be in Jesus name.

But then a proud person like queen Vasti, is anyone rejecting the commandments of God, the King of Kings, like Vasti rejected the commandment of the king and was removed.

Check up sincerely, are you poor or proud in the spirit? If you discover you are poor in the spirit, sustain it. But if you are proud, repent now to avert both earthly and eternal consequences.

Dan 4:37 Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.

May the good Lord help you to be wise unto salvation in Jesus name.
