Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | November 14, 2019 | Enrich and Sustain your relationship with Jesus reading our daily devotional – Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. – James 4:4

Beloved, you must be mindful of this all important fact about your loving Father in heaven. He remains the same from the outset. He has not changed and He will not change.

Malachi 3:6 For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

See His unchanging attitude from eternity past that shall subsist till eternity future.

Gen 1:3 – And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Beloved, what God has divided from the very first, must not be joined together by anyone and that includes you. No marvel, He commanded His own children, praise God you are one of them. See the all important commandment.

God remains both your Father and your friend. He doesn’t want you to have association of any sort either in marriage, business or worship that will make you to turn from following Him in wholehearted obedience . See it yourself.

Deu 7:1-4 When the Lord thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou; And when the Lord thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them: Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son. For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the Lord be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.

Deu 18:9 When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.

Jer 10:2 Thus saith the Lord,Learn not the way of the heathen,and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven;for the heathen are dismayed at them.

Beloved, if through unwatchfulness you have associated your self with unbelievers. See what your Father says and do accordingly.

Isaiah 52:11 Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the Lord.

Dearly beloved, Jesus Christ our Lord and savior, lived a distinct lifestyle of biblical separation, during His earthly ministry.

Hebrews 7:26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

He gave His followers in Bible days and by extension believers of all ages especially you, the same unchanging commandment. See it.

Mat 7:15-20 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

The blessed Holy Spirit further affirm this same commandment in different ways to establish the unchanging stance of both God the Father and Jesus Christ on the same issue.

2Co 6:14-8 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

1Co 5:9-11 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

Eph 5:10-12 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

1Jo 2:15-17 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Dearly beloved, receive grace to be obedient to Him on this all important issue in Jesus name.

Friend, as the dawning rapture is drawing nearer don’t fall a victim of the wiles and subtility of the devil. The Bible says you in particular must not be ignorant of his devices.

2Co 2:11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

Friend the singular reason why many care free churchgoers shall miss this imminent event is their compromise. Their unequal yoke in worship in particular during this perilous time.

This shall not be your portion, but you must heed the warning of God on this very important issue. See how the scriptures warned over and over that you should come out of unequal yoke in worship.

Rev 18:4-5 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

Rom 16:17 -18 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

2Jo 1:8 -10 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

Friend don’t make your self the enemy of God by associating with wrong people. This is the last joker of the devil, please avoid it and don’t fall a victim.
