DO THE SAME ALSO | KnowingJESUS Daily Devotional

Matthew 7:12. Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
Beloved, see some of the wonderful attributes of your Father through which you are brought into sonship with Him.

Psalms 86:15. But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, long suffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.

Psalms 145:8-9. The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

But then, the singular desire of God is to see all of these attributes reproduced in you as His own people.  Do you aspire to be like God?  This was the nature Adam lost, but God through Christ got them restored back to His saints.

Ephesians 4:24. And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

One unique thing that, reproducing God’s nature  in you will enable you to do is to forgive others and be kind to them, as He has always being doing to you, whenever you wronged Him.

Leviticus 19:18: ¶Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.

Matthew 7:12. Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

Beloved, for God to accomplish this all important desire, He promulgated these unchanging decrees for saints of all ages and that includes you.

Exodus 23:4 -5.  ¶If thou meet thine enemy’s ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again. If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, and wouldest forbear to help him, thou shalt surely help with him.

Proverbs 20:22: Say not thou, I will recompense evil; but wait on the LORD, and he shall save thee.

Jeremiah 7:5-6. For if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour;  If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt:

Ezekiel 18:7 -8. And hath not oppressed any, but hath restored to the debtor his pledge, hath spoiled none by violence, hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment; He that hath not given forth upon usury, neither hath taken any increase, that hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, hath executed true judgment between man and man,

Amos 5:14 -15. Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the LORD, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken. Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.

Zechariah 7:7 -10. Should ye not hear the words which the LORD hath cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about her, when men inhabited the south and the plain? And the word of the LORD came unto Zechariah, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother: And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.

Zechariah 8:16 -17. ¶These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates: And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD.

Malachi 3:5: And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.

Beloved, all that God looked forward to seeing His decrees accomplished in the lives of His saints of all ages and you in particular, is for them to be like Him, and do same to others. Receive grace to do accordingly in Jesus name.

Micah 6:8: He hath shewed thee, O man, what isgood; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

Dearly beloved, our Lord deliberately lived a lifestyle, He wanted reproduced in the lives of His followers of all ages and you too. See some of them.

John 13:12-17. So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you? Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.

John 17:19. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

The unchanging passion of our Lord is to see this same lifestyle reproduced in His followers of all ages, including you.

Matthew 10:24-25 The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord. It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

When this becomes your lifestyle, it will enable you to do same with others, no matter what they are doing to you.

Matthew 7:12. Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

Luke 6:31: And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.

Dearly beloved for this to be attainable in the lives of all believers of all ages and you, our Lord and the blessed Holy Spirit, gave commandments  to guide their lifestyle. See some of the,.

Matthew 5:43 -43. Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Matthew 19:19: Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Matthew 22:37-40. Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Mark 12:29 – 33. And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.  And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he: And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.

Romans 12:17: Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

Romans 12:19: Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

Ephesians 4:31: Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

Colossians 3:8: But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

1 Peter 2:1: Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,

Interestingly, our Lord provided adequate grace for these to be seamlessly attainable to all believers of all ages, especially you, so be determinedly committed to living this lifestyle, till He comes.

2 Corinthians 9:8. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

JESUS’S MOST IMPORTANT COUNSEL TO BELIEVERS OF ALL AGES AND YOU, HEED IT.
Friend, if through the  grace of God, you are able to determinedly obey always  this one commandment from Jesus our Lord. Then you should consider yourself rapture ready anytime our Lord comes. See this all important singular commandment.

Matthew 7:12. Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

The reason for this is because this one commandment is all embracing. Obeying it makes you faultless in every other commandments of the Bible.  It will enable you to even love the worst enemy. You are going to find out that, the entire commandments in the Bible revolves around love. Loving God wholeheartedly and then humanity. See them.

Romans 13:8 -10. Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

Galatians 5:13 -14.  For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

1 Timothy 1:5: Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:

James 2:8: If ye fulfill the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself, ye do well:

Friend, see you have gotten the devil cornered and subdued, if by the grace of God, you obey this all important, all encompassing and all embracing commandment of God. Then nothing of hell, can stop you from being part of the dawning rapture in Jesus name.

Matthew 7:12. Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
