Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | July 31, 2020 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | AVOID THE CONGREGATION OF EVIL DOERS |  I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked. – Psalms 26:5

Dearly beloved brethren, there are things, God joined together. There are things, He separated. Now that you have been joined to your spouse, there must be no separation.

Matthew 19:5-6 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? 19:6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

However, there are things God put asunder. What He had separated, don’t ever join them together. God from the outset of creation, separated light and darkness, don’t ever join them together.

Genesis 1:3-4 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

2 Corinthians 6:14 -18 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | AVOID THE CONGREGATION OF EVIL DOERS |  I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked. – Psalms 26:5

Beloved, God’s unchanging decree in the Bible, is that you must never ever be uneaqually yoked together.

God’s words in the Bible are decrees. See it yourself.

Acts 16:4 And as they went through the cities, they delivered them the decrees for to keep, that were ordained of the apostles and elders which were at Jerusalem.

Either God the Father or our Lord Jesus Christ, they hated unequal yoke with passion.

Revelation 2:6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate

Revelation 2:15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate.

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | AVOID THE CONGREGATION OF EVIL DOERS |  I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked. – Psalms 26:5

No wonder King David a man after the heart of the Lord, hated what God hates.

Psalms 26:5 I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.

Dearly beloved brethren, you too like David must hate with passion unequal yoke in marriage, business, worship, friendship and recreation.

1. Marriage

Deuteronomy 7:1-4 When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou; And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them: Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son. For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.

2. Worship

Isaiah 52:11 Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD.

Ephesians 5:11-12 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | AVOID THE CONGREGATION OF EVIL DOERS |  I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked. – Psalms 26:5

3. Friendship.

James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

4. Business

2 Chronicles 20:35-37 And after this did Jehoshaphat king of Judah join himself with Ahaziah king of Israel, who did very wickedly: And he joined himself with him to make ships to go to Tarshish: and they made the ships in Eziongaber. Then Eliezer the son of Dodavah of Mareshah prophesied against Jehoshaphat, saying, Because thou hast joined thyself with Ahaziah, the LORD hath broken thy works. And the ships were broken, that they were not able to go to Tarshish.

5. Recreation.

1Co 5:9 — 1Co 5:11 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | AVOID THE CONGREGATION OF EVIL DOERS |  I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked. – Psalms 26:5

Brethren, you must follow after the footsteps of King David to hate and separate from anything and everything, God hates. Remember to obey is better than sacrifice.

1 Samuel 15:22-23 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. 15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

The good Lord shall help you in Jesus name.

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | July 30, 2020 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way. – Psalms 25:9

Dearly beloved, the earthly ministry of our Lord was characterised by exeplanry lifestyle for believers of all ages and you in particular to follow His steps.

John 17:19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

John 13:15 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.

Mat 11:28 — Mat 11:29 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | July 30, 2020 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way. – Psalms 25:9

It is noteworthy, that the Bible says, God our loving Father in heaven, will only guide and teach meek.

Psalms 25:9 The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.

No marvel our Lord was meek in deed because He humbly submitted to the guidance and teaching of the Father.

John 8:28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.

John 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

John 5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

Jn 12:49 — Jn 12:50 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

However, it is very unfortunate that majority of the nominal churchgoers globally are unlike Christ , they determindly resist teaching from the Lord. I am persuaded you are not among these people. See these.

God voluntarily promised to teach and guide His children, beloved please let Him teach you in all things and at all times.

Psalms 32:8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

Isa 48:17 — Isa 48:18 Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit,
which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go. O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea:

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | July 30, 2020 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way. – Psalms 25:9

Regrettably, these nominal churchgoers resist vehemently the guidance and teachings of God.

Jeremiah 6:16 Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

Jer 7:23 — Jer 7:24 But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you. But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.

Jeremiah 5:31 The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | July 30, 2020 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way. – Psalms 25:9

These nominal churchgoers reject the truth and are opting for fables.

2Ti 4:1 — 2Ti 4:4 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Because of this, God also will permit false prophets and motivational speakers to deceive them and they shall be damned. This shall never ever be your portion in Jesus name.

2Th 2:10 — 2Th 2:12 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | July 30, 2020 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way. – Psalms 25:9

Beloved , always remember and don’t ever forget. God the Father in heaven and our Lord Jesus Christ wants His children and you to be taught the entire truth. For this reason, they have raised spirit filled teachers to teach you.

1. God spirit filled teachers to teach His people..

Moses.

Exo 24:12 And the Lord said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.

Samuel.

1Sa 12:23 — 1Sa 12:24 Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way: Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you

2. Jesus our Lord and His spirit filled teachers teaching the believers and you.

Mat 7:28 — Mat 7:29 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

Mark 6:2 And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?

Luk 5:3 And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.

Acts 1:1. The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,

Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Peter and John.

Act 4:1 — Act 4:2 And as they spake unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them, Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead.

Act 5:19 — Act 5:21 But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said, Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life. And when they heard that, they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught. But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.

Acts 5:42 And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

Paul and Barnabas.

Act 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

Paul.

Acts 20:20 And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publicly, and from house to house,

Eph 4:20 — Eph 4:24 But ye have not so learned Christ; If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Col 2:6 — Col 2:7 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

Beloved receive grace to be humble and meek like Jesus and submit to His teachings and guidance in Jesus name.

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | July 29, 2020 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | WHO SHALL ASCEND UNTO THE HILL OF THE LORD?

Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; - Psalms 24:3 -4
Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; - Psalms 24:3 -4

Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; – Psalms 24:3 -4

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | July 29, 2020 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. – Psalms 24:3 -4

Beloved, you are supposed to be envied. This is because incorruptible and undefiled rewards await you in particular in heaven for all eternity.

1 Peter 1:4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

Jesus Christ your Lord shall one day welcome you to heaven to present these incorruptible rewards to you. They shall not elude you in particular in Jesus name.

Revelation 22:11-12 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

But then my dearly beloved brethren, I want to earnestly beseech you, not to allow, what you are using your body to do now, deny you of your eternal inheritances. It shall not in Jesus.

Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; – Psalms 24:3 -4

One major thing that shall count in eternity before Christ, when He shall sit to judge the world is whether your body was used for virtues or vices.

John 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

Romans 2:16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

2 Corinthians 5:10-11 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

Psalms 24:3 -4 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; – Psalms 24:3 -4

No wonder even our Lord exhorted believers of all ages, especially you, to deal decisively with any part of your body that can make you sin and loose out of blissful eternity. This shall never ever be your portion in Jesus name.

Mark 9:43-48 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

The blessed Holy Spirit followed up with our Lord to exhort you on what to do with your body.

Ecclesiastes 5:6 Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands?

Isaiah 33:15 -17 He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil; He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure. Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.

Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

1 Thessalonians 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; – Psalms 24:3 -4

It was in response and readiness for this day of judgement, that made saints in both old and new testaments, resolved never ever to allow their body to make them sin against God.

Job 31:1 I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?

Job 31:30 Neither have I suffered my mouth to sin by wishing a curse to his soul.

Psalms 39:1 I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.

1 Corinthians 9:27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; – Psalms 24:3 -4

Remember, any part of the body that is misused, is potent enough to bring condemnation to such a person. You shall not be condemned in Jesus name.

Psalms 59:12 For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.

The good Lord shall help you in particular to be wise unto salvation in Jesus name.

Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; – Psalms 24:3 -4

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD; I shall not want – Psalms 23:1. God being our Shepherd means He takes care, provides, guides, and protects us

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | July 28, 2020 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD; I shall not want. – Psalms 23:1 – This passage illustrates God as been our Shepherd which means He takes care, provides, guides, and protects us.

Beloved, no doubt you are persuaded that the entire books in the Bible from Genesis to Revelations, are testimonies about our Lord Jesus Christ. See what He said.

John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

The book of Psalms reveals the most important ministry of our Lord, apart from being our Redeemer.

He is the Shepherd that you can not afford to have here and hereafter.

Psalms 23:1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD; I shall not want – Psalms 23:1. God being our Shepherd means He takes care, provides, guides, and protects us

The new testament books revealed our Lord distinctly as the Shepherd of all shepherds. See them.

1. The good Shepherd.

John 10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. 10:14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

2. The great Shepherd

Hebrews 13:20-21 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

3. The Shepherd and Bishop of your soul.

1 Peter 2:25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

4. The chief Shepherd.

1 Peter 5:4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD; I shall not want – Psalms 23:1. God being our Shepherd means He takes care, provides, guides, and protects us

Jesus Christ our Lord is the only Shepherd you must hear His voice as a sheep and receive life eternal.

John 10:27-28 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Dearly beloved you must determinedly follow Jesus your Shepherd, to help you not to fall into the hands of hireling, tirelessly working for satan.

John 10:11-14 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep. I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD; I shall not want – Psalms 23:1. God being our Shepherd means He takes care, provides, guides, and protects us

The reason why you must determinedly follow Jesus, your true Shepherd is because, He will ensure you are properly fed with the total truth through which you shall fulfil destiny here and enjoy blissful eternity ,hereafter.

Isaiah 40:11 He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD; I shall not want – Psalms 23:1. God being our Shepherd means He takes care, provides, guides, and protects us

Beloved see what Jesus desired His under shepherds should do for His church.

John 21:15-17 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

1 Peter 5:1 – 4 The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD; I shall not want – Psalms 23:1. God being our Shepherd means He takes care, provides, guides, and protects us

Beloved, you must ensure you are under a shepherd feeding you with the total truth in the Bible and not fables..

2 Timothy 4:1-4 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

This shall enable you to remain a sheep that shall live with Jesus for all eternity . The good Lord shall help you in particular in Jesus name.

Matthew 25:31-34 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

The good Lord shall help you in particular, to be wise unto salvation in Jesus name.

Beloved , if there is anything you must treasure in life as a child of God. It is His abiding presence.

See God’s abiding presence with saints of old.

God’s abiding presence with Jacob.

Genesis 28:15 And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.

God’s abiding presence with Joseph

Gen 39:2 — Gen 39:3 And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand.

God’s abiding presence with Moses and Israel.

Exodus 33:14 And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring? – Psalms 22:1

God’s abiding presence with Joshua and Israel.

Joshua 1:9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

God’s abiding presence with Jesus our Lord and savior.

John 8:29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.

God’s abiding presence with Paul apostle.

Act 18:9 — Act 18:10 Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace: For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring? – Psalms 22:1

You are not excluded. The scriptures abound with God’s promised presence for the likes of you, His beloved Children. His presence shall be your companion till Christ comes in Jesus name.

Isa 49:14 — Isa 49:16 But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me. Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb?yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.

Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

However, beloved brethren. Don’t ever forget. God’s abiding presence is conditional.

It is only available for children of God that are walking with God in holiness and righteousness.

Deuteronomy 23:14 For the LORD thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring? – Psalms 22:1

Please never ever forget, God will withdraw His presence from anyone and everyone who slide back into sin and compromise.

Remember that when our righteous and holy Lord was carrying our sins on the cross, God separated from Him.

Matthew 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Mark 15:34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

In addition, after Israel in the promised Land had defeated Jericho and the wall came down.

They were defeated by a tiny nation AI, because one person in the whole nation sinned. God abandoned them and separate from them and they were defeated.

Jos 7:5 — Jos 7:12 And the men of Ai smote of them about thirty and six men: for they chased them from before the gate even unto Shebarim, and smote them in the going down: wherefore the hearts of the people melted, and became as water. And Joshua rent his clothes, and fell to the earth upon his face before the ark of the LORD until the eventide, he and the elders of Israel, and put dust upon their heads. And Joshua said, Alas, O Lord GOD, wherefore hast thou at all brought this people over Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us? would to God we had been content, and dwelt on the other side Jordan! O Lord, what shall I say, when Israel turneth their backs before their enemies! For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land shall hear of it, and shall environ us round, and cut off our name from the earth: and what wilt thou do unto thy great name? And the LORD said unto Joshua, Get thee up; wherefore liest thou thus upon thy face? Israel hath sinned, and they have also transgressed my covenant which I commanded them: for they have even taken of the accursed thing, and have also stolen, and dissembled also, and they have put it even among their own stuff. Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they were accursed: neither will I be with you any more, except ye destroy the accursed from among you.

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring? – Psalms 22:1

Brethren the Bible affirms severally that sin will separate the holy God from any sinning person, whoever such a person might be.

Zechariah 7:13 Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear;so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the LORD of hosts:

Isa 59:1 — Isa 59:2 Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

Pro 1:24 — Pro 1:33 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way,and be filled with their own devices. For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

Beloved endeavor to sustain your holier walk with the Lord and you shall certainly avoid this pitiable cry below. It will never be your portion in Jesus name.

Psalms 22:1 My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?

Dearly beloved wait only upon God and let all your expectations concerning everything, come from Him.

This is because God is immutable, omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient. He has invincible might and power.

Psalms 62:5 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.

Psalms 62:11 God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.

Isa 40:28 — Isa 40:31 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD,the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Malachi 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | TRUST IN THE NAME OF THE LORD – Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD – Psalms 20:7

Beloved, you need to know some things about God , to help you trust Him at all times and have unwavering confidence in His sufficiency and dependability. See these things and don’t ever forget them.

1. God gives power and wisdom for wealth.

Deuteronomy 8:18 But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

Pro 2:6 For the Lord giveth wisdom:out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

2. He is the only person that can build you, for you to be built.

Psalms 127:1 Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

3. His blessings make you rich without sorrow and stress.

Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | TRUST IN THE NAME OF THE LORD – Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD – Psalms 20:7

4. Only God can add to you what you are lounging for, i.e spouse, fruit of the womb, job.

Acts 2:47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

5. Only God can grant you , your desire increase.

1Co 3:6 — 1Co 3:7 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

6. He is the Almighty, the El Shadai, the sufficient God , that can be your sufficiency.

Genesis 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

2Co 3:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | TRUST IN THE NAME OF THE LORD – Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD – Psalms 20:7

Beloved with this understanding you now have about God, let Him alone be your confidence and trust Him alone and no other thing or being.

Proverbs 3:26 For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

Trust Him, when you don’t understand why you are going through any challenges.

Job 13:15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.

Trust Him, even when you are afraid.

Psalms 56:3 What time I am afraid,
I will trust in thee.

Trust Him at all times and pray to Him.

Psalms 62:8 Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.

Trust Him forever.

Isa 26:3 — Isa 26:4 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | TRUST IN THE NAME OF THE LORD – Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD – Psalms 20:7

Dearly beloved, I earnestly pray for you and your family. Every good things, God has given you shall be permanent in Jesus name. God’s blessings are without repentance.

Rom 11:29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

But then don’t trust your job, it could be lost. Some have lost their own. Yours shall not be lost in Jesus name. Don’t trust your health, your wealth, your intelligence. They can fail or not suffice . Don’t trust your spouse, your family, your children, your pastor or any human being. They could fail you.

Psa 60:11 Give us help from trouble:for vain is the help of man.

Psa 146:3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

But then trust God and God alone at all times. You shall never ever be disappointed.

Psalms 20:7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God

Psalms 62:5 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | July 25, 2020 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | THE JUDGEMENTS OF THE LORD ARE TRUE AND RIGHTEOUS

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. - Psalms 19:9

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. – Psalms 19:9

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | July 25, 2020 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. – Psalms 19:9

Dearly beloved, God commanded His saints of all ages. and you in particular to fear Him.

Jeremiah 5:22 Fear ye not me? saith the LORD: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it?

Jesus Christ our Lord and savior, that has been with our Father in heaven from eternity past, commanded the believers of all ages, especially you, to fear God.

Luke 12:5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

The blessed Holy Spirit who has always been the mouth piece of the Triune God from eternity past, commanded saints of all ages and you in particular, in both old and new testaments, not to fear anything or any being , but the God of heaven.

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. – Psalms 19:9

Isa 8:9 — Isa 8:13 Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces. Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.
For the LORD spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying, Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy;
neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid. Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.

Jeremiah 10:7 Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto thee.

Revelation 15:4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. – Psalms 19:9

Very very unfortunately, despite these calls from the Triune God, that everyone that claims to have anything to do with God should fear Him,, these calls are derided and despised and multitude inside and outside of church have no fear of God in their lives. I am persuaded you are not one of them.

Jer 2:18 — Jer 2:19 And now what hast thou to do in the way of Egypt, to drink the waters of Sihor? or what hast thou to do in the way of Assyria, to drink the waters of the river? Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.

Psalms 36:1 The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart,
that there is no fear of God before his eyes.

Romans 3:18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. – Psalms 19:9

Beloved, pause and examine yourself sincerely without any iota of pretense, do you in particular fear God? I believe you are. But then, let the scriptures reveal what
the biblical fear of God , consist of.

The reason why you should sincerely examine yourself whether you fear God, is because it endures forever. It shall determine your well-being in eternity . You must give utmost importance and attention to it.

Psalms 19:9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.

1. The fear of God is the beginning of biblical wisdom and knowledge.

Psalms 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom:
a good understanding have all they that do his commandments:
his praise endureth for ever.

Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge:
but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Job 28:28 And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.

2. The fear of God will make you to depart from everything the Bible says are evil.

Proverbs 3:7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

Job 1:1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.

Proverbs 16:6 By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.

3. The fear of God will make you to hate evil, pride and arrogancy.

Proverbs 8:13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

4. The fear of God will make you to keep all His commandments in the Bible.

Ecc 12:13 — Ecc 12:14 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. – Psalms 19:9

5. The fear of God will help you to be truthful and hate covetousness.
You will also have integrity.

Exo 18:21 Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:

Job 2:3 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.

6. The fear of God will make you to seek peace with all and sundry.

Psa 34:11 — Psa 34:15 Come, ye children, hearken unto me:
I will teach you the fear of the LORD. What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good? Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.

7. The fear of God will help you to serve Him acceptably with trembling.

Heb 12:28 — Heb 12:29 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire.

Psalms 2:11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. – Psalms 19:9

Dearly beloved, with this understanding, do you think you fear God? Your response should be affirmative yes. But if not, do something immediately, to avoid God fearsome judgement according to the scriptures. This shall not be your portion in Jesus name.

Luke 12:5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

Revelation 14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

Ecc 12:13 — Ecc 12:14 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

However, see the benefits of the fear of God and begin to take advantage of them.

Psalms 25:14 The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.

Proverbs 14:26 In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.

Proverbs 14:27 The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death

The good Lord shall help you in particular to be wise unto salvation in Jesus name.

Even our Lord Jesus Christ and the blessed Holy Spirit, informed us of the challenges that shall come our ways, as we resolutely prepare to be part of the dawning rapture. See these.

Jesus.

John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

The blessed Holy Spirit.

Acts 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

So therefore, take advantage of the promised victory over your challenges as you reach out to the Lord in fervent and prevailing prayers.

Psa 20:1 — Psa 20:4 The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee; Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion; Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah. Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.

Isaiah 45:22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.

Psalms 18:3 I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies

Psalms 107:19 Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses.

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies. – Psalms 18:3

Dearly beloved brethren, you know that God remain the same. See what He did for men and women of like passion in Bible days, who reached out to Him in persistent prevailing prayers.

Malachi 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

1. Jacob when Esau was set to kill him.

Gen 32:24 — Gen 32:28 And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob. And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

2. Moses prayed and river Marah became sweet.

Exo 15:23 — Exo 15:25 And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah. And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink? And he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them,

3. Hannah prayed and overcame bareness.

1Sa 1:9 — 1Sa 1:11 So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh, and after they had drunk. Now Eli the priest sat upon a seat by a post of the temple of the LORD. And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore. And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.

1 Samuel 1:27 For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him:

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies. – Psalms 18:3

4. Jabez turned poverty to prosperity

1Ch 4:9 — 1Ch 4:10 And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

5. Peter delivered from been slain by king Herod.

Act 12:1 — Act 12:11 Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church. And he killed James the brother of John with the sword. And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.) And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people. Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison. And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands. And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me. And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision. When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him. And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.

6. Paul apostle and two hundred and seventy five people delivered from fourteen days life-threatening storm.

Act 27:18 — Act 27:25 And we being exceedingly tossed with a tempest, the next day they lightened the ship; And the third day we cast out with our own hands the tackling of the ship. And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope that we should be saved was then taken away. But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss. And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man’s life among you, but of the ship. For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee. Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.

Acts 27:44 And the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land.

By the grace of God , what He did for others when they prayed, He will do for you also, as you turned to Him in wholehearted prayers.

7. You. As you pray your challenges shall turn into testimonies.

Psalms 50:15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

Luke 21:13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | July 23, 2020 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress | Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast tried me, and find nothing – Psalms 17:3

Dearly beloved,  there was something that marked our Lord Jesus Christ  out, during His earthly ministry. It was gracious words coming out of His mouth.

Luke 4:22  And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph’s son?

In the same token, three things mark out  a Bible believing believer, like you. 1. Christlike utterance 2. Christlike nature 3 Christlike outlook.
LESSONS FROM PSALMS | I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress | Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast tried me, and find nothing – Psalms 17:3
No wonder the Bible says, if anyone is in Christ, He or she is a new creature..  Praise God, you are in Christ, ensure you are distinguished by these three things.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Beloved no doubt God will help you to attain earthly and eternal unspeakable joy.  Because of this, like  Paul , you must put your mouth and other parts of your body under.

Psa 34:12 — Psa 34:14 What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?  Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

1 Corinthians 9:27  But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress | Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast tried me, and find nothing – Psalms 17:3

This becomes necessary, because here and hereafter, the word proceeding from your mouth shall justify or condemn you.  Glory to God, you shall be justified always in Jesus name.

Mat 12:36 — Mat 12:37 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Numbers 14:28 Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:

Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress | Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast tried me, and find nothing – Psalms 17:3

So therefore, be determined that your tongue shall not make you to sin at all times. But your own tongue shall bring you tremendous joy here and hereafter in Jesus name.

Psalms 17:3 Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast visited me in the night;thou hast tried me, and shalt find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.

Pro 13:2 A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth:but the soul of the transgressors shall eat violence.

Pro 18:7 A fool’s mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul.

Pro 21:23 Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.

James 3:2  For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.

Jam 3:5 — Jam 3:12  Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.

God’s grace shall avail for you in particular in Jesus name. Always visit the throne of grace for help..

Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Beloved cheer up. It is true that you are going through the period of crucifixion like Jesus. This challenge shall not overwhelm you. This is because the Sunday morning of resurrection is close by.

Our Lord for your sake went through the gruesome, shameful, painful and excruciating crucifixion on Friday. It was like, it will never come to an end. But then, Sunday morning, He triumphed. He rose.
The grave is empty.

Matthew 28:5-7 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.

Always remember there is an end and way out of every challenges confronting you.

Proverbs 23:18 For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.

1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. – Psalms 16:10

So therefore receive this day, the sure to be fulfilled promise of God for you in particular.. Your precious soul shall not be left or forgotten in this hellish challenges before you.

Psalms 16:10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

Dearly beloved see men and women of like passion that God fulfilled same promise in their lives.

1. Sarah carried Isaac after twenty five years of travail in barrenness.

Genesis 21:6-7 And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me. And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age.

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. – Psalms 16:10

2. Miriam after deliverance from four hundred and thirty years of captivity with hard labor.

Exodus 15:20 -21And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances. And Miriam answered them, Sing ye to the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.

3. Joshua and Israel, possessed the promised Land after wandering for forty years.

Joshua 21:43-45 And the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein. And the LORD gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand. There failed not ought of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.

4. Hannah celebrated the birth of Samuel and the end of painful reproach from Pennina.

1 Samuel 1:27 For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him:

1 Samuel 2:1-2 And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation. 2:2 There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. – Psalms 16:10

5. King Solomon on the throne of Israel as God promised David.

1 Kings 8:56 Blessed be the LORD, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant.

6. Peter delivered from been slain by blood thirsty king Herod.

Acts 12:11 And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the LORD hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.

7. You, I mean your very self joining the cloud of witnesses. Your hour of resurrection, triumph and testimony concerning this great mountain has finally come.

Zechariah 4:6-7 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.

Luke 21:13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.
