Beloved don’t be surprised when inexplanable. challenges come upon you, unannounced. Remember, our truthful Redeemer has informed us all following Him, about this.

John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
1Pe 4:12 — 1Pe 4:13 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

Our Lord has placed at the disposal of all His followers and you in particular, what to do , when you are overwhelmed with inexplanable challenges.

Zechariah 9:12 Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I declare that I will render double unto thee;

Pro 18:10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower:the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. – Psalms 61:2

What does this mean to you?

Dearly beloved brethren, see how saints like you in Bible days secured His rest as they wholeheartedly turned to Him. Yours shall not be an exception from henceforth in Jesus name.

1. Isaac when his wife was barren.

Gen 25:20 — Gen 25:21 And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah to wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padanaram, the sister to Laban the Syrian. And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.

2. Jacob when Esau was coming determindly to destroy him and his family.

Gen 32:24 — Gen 32:29 And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob. And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.
From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. – Psalms 61:2

3. Moses when the congregation were thirsty and Mara, the only available river was bitter.

Exo 15:23 — Exo 15:25 And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah. And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink? And he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them,

4. Hannah when she desperately needed breakthrough from barreness.

1Sa 1:9 — 1Sa 1:11 So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh, and after they had drunk. Now Eli the priest sat upon a seat by a post of the temple of the LORD. And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore. And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.
1 Samuel 1:27 For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him:
From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. – Psalms 61:2

5. Jabez turned her lifelong sorrow to desired breakthrough.

1Ch 4:9 — 1Ch 4:10 And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

6. The church in Jerusalem threatened by envious Sanhedrin.

Act 4:23 — Act 4:31 And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them. And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is: Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things? The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ. For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together, For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done. And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

7. Peter delivered from been slain by blood thirsty king Herod.

Act 12:1 — Act 12:11 Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church. And he killed James the brother of John with the sword. And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.) And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people. Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison. And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands. And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me. And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision. When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him. And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.
From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. – Psalms 61:2

8. You. I mean your very self. This present overwhelming challenge in your life, family, business shall turn to testimonies.

Luke 21:13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.
Psa 107:19 — Psa 107:20 Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses. He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
Psa 107:27 — Psa 107:30 They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man,and are at their wits’ end. Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses. He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still. Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.
From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. – Psalms 61:2

Beloved why I am I so sure this intimidating challenge shall turn to testimonies for you?

It is because, God your loving Father in heaven and Jesus Christ, your compassionate Redeemer, remained the same.

Malachi 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

So come now boldly to the throne of grace and receive desire mercies.

Heb 4:15 — Heb 4:16 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. – Psalms 61:2

Dearly beloved it very disheartening, when those who profess religion takes after unbelievers in the world.

It is typical of unbelievers either in government or office or in any setting, to voluntarily be subservient to god fathers and mothers. It is shameful to see believers who claimed to have Jesus Christ as their Lord to be doing same.

Always remember and never ever forget, any believer who is subservient to any arm of flesh is under a curse of God, while those who fully lean under the everlasting arms of the eternal God shall enjoy His ceaseless mercies. This shall be your portion in Jesus name.

Jer 17:5 — Jer 17:8 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited. Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
Deuteronomy 33:27 The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.
Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies. – Psalms 60:11-12

No doubt dearly beloved that according to the Bible, men shall ultimately do the things, you needed, but then let God move them to do it.

Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

What characterise the lifestyle of men when anyone depend on them for help is to deliberately and determindly fail them, when they needed them most. See what the Bible says in the four different versions of the Bible.

KJV

Judg 5:23 Curse ye Meroz, said the angel of the Lord, curse ye bitterly the inhabitants thereof;because they came not to the help of the Lord,to the help of the Lord against the mighty.

NLT

Judges 5:23 Let the people of Meroz be cursed,’ said the angel of the lord. ‘Let them be utterly cursed, because they did not come to help the lord to help the lord against the mighty warriors.’

AMP

Judges 5:23 Curse Meroz, said the messenger of the Lord. Curse bitterly its inhabitants, because they came not to the help of the Lord, to the help of the Lord against the mighty!

MESSAGE

23 “Curse Meroz,” says God’s angel. Curse, double curse, its people, Because they didn’t come when God needed them, didn’t rally to God’s side with valiant fighters.”
Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies. – Psalms 60:11-12

But then, you must deliberately and determindly reach out to Christ your present and unchanging timely helper at all times in all things.

Psa 46:1 — Psa 46:5 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies. – Psalms 60:11-12

Beloved see how the Lord helped the following saints. He will do same for you too in Jesus name.

1. King Uzziah.

2Ch 26:14 — 2Ch 26:15 And Uzziah prepared for them throughout all the host shields, and spears, and helmets, and habergeons, and bows, and slings to cast stones. And he made in Jerusalem engines, invented by cunning men, to be on the towers and upon the bulwarks, to shoot arrows and great stones withal. And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvellously helped, till he was strong.

2. Israel delivered from the Philistines.

1Sa 7:11 — 1Sa 7:12 And the men of Israel went out of Mizpeh, and pursued the Philistines, and smote them, until they came under Bethcar. Then Samuel took a stone, and set it between Mizpeh and Shen, and called the name of it Ebenezer, saying, Hitherto hath the LORD helped us.
Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies. – Psalms 60:11-12

3. Moses delivered from the sword of pharaoh.

Exo 18:4 And the name of the other was Eliezer; for the God of my father, said he, was mine help, and delivered me from the sword of Pharaoh:

4. The three Hebrews delivered from furnace of fire of king Nebuchadnezzar.

Dan 3:20 — Dan 3:27 And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace. Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire. And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.
Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies. – Psalms 60:11-12

5. Peter delivered in the morning king Herod would have killed him.

6. Peter timely delivered from drowning.

Mat 14:26 — Mat 14:32 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.

7. Paul and two hundred and seventy five people delivered from fourteen days life-threatening storm on the high sea.

Act 27:18 — Act 27:25 And we being exceedingly tossed with a tempest, the next day they lightened the ship; And the third day we cast out with our own hands the tackling of the ship. And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope that we should be saved was then taken away. But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss. And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man’s life among you, but of the ship. For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee. Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.
Acts 27:37 And we were in all in the ship two hundred threescore and sixteen souls.
Acts 27:44 And the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land.
Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies. – Psalms 60:11-12

8. Paul timely delivered from Judaizers plot to kill him.

Act 26:21 — Act 26:23 For these causes the Jews caught me in the temple, and went about to kill me. Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come: That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.

9. Yourself. Your dependable unfailing timely helper is Jesus.

Hos 13:9 O Israel, thou hast destroyed thyself; but in me is thine help
Psalms 60:11-12 – Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.

The good Lord shall help you in particular in Jesus name.

Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies. – Psalms 60:11-12

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | August 29, 2020 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies. – Psalms 58:3

Dearly beloved saints of all ages which must include you must rejoice and continue to rejoice, because of our discovery of the true nature of our Father in heaven and Jesus Christ our Lord

This is because both of them are truth personified. There are no iota of lies or deception in them. See them.

Our Father in heaven.

Num 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie;neither the son of man, that he should repent:hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
Hebrews 6:18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
LESSONS FROM PSALMS | The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies. – Psalms 58:3

Jesus Christ our Lord.

Jn 8:46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?
Jn 14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
Hebrews 7:26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

And as these testimonies delighted saints of all ages, including you. It must be the tireless resolve of the saints of all ages especially you to replicate this distinguished nature like our Father in heaven and Jesus Christ our Lord.

When this is done, see what they and you in particular shall become.

Isaiah 63:8 For he said, Surely they are my people, children that will not lie: so he was their Saviour.
Pro 14:5 A faithful witness will not lie:but a false witness will utter lies.
Rev 14:4 — Rev 14:5 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.
LESSONS FROM PSALMS | The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies. – Psalms 58:3

May the good Lord make this a reality in your life, till Christ comes in Jesus name.

But then very very unfortunately, this is not the case of everyone professing to be believers in the global churh of Christ. There are dearth of faithful believers that are biblically truthful. See what the Bible says.

Psa 10:7 His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud:under his tongue is mischief and vanity.
Rom 3:14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:

The Bible further reveals that these churchgoers globally and the unbelievers outside the church are liars from birth.

Psalms 58:3 The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies

Instead of resembling and taking after the nature of God the Father in heaven and Jesus Christ our Lord, they took the nature of satan and resemble him.

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
LESSONS FROM PSALMS | The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies. – Psalms 58:3

Beloved brethren, pause here and be very sincere to yourself. Is it the nature of Jesus or that of the devil you have? I am persuaded your answer shall be, you resemble Jesus, but should in case the reverse is the reality, show instantaneous mercy to yourself, because of the consequences of being a liar.

Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

This becomes absolutely necessary, because of the punishment coming upon liars inside or outside of the church, here on earth and at eternity. See them.

Punishment on earth.

Proverbs 19:5 A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape.
Jer 28:15 — Jer 28:17 Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; The LORD hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people to trust in a lie. Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught rebellion against the LORD. So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.

Punishment in eternity.

Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Revelation 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
LESSONS FROM PSALMS | The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies. – Psalms 58:3

See examples of liars in Bible days and the punishment they received for lying.

1. The Amalikite that died for lying.

2Sa 1:2 — 2Sa 1:11 It came even to pass on the third day, that, behold, a man came out of the camp from Saul with his clothes rent, and earth upon his head: and so it was, when he came to David, that he fell to the earth, and did obeisance. And David said unto him, From whence comest thou? And he said unto him, Out of the camp of Israel am I escaped. And David said unto him, How went the matter? I pray thee, tell me. And he answered, That the people are fled from the battle, and many of the people also are fallen and dead; and Saul and Jonathan his son are dead also. And David said unto the young man that told him, How knowest thou that Saul and Jonathan his son be dead? And the young man that told him said, As I happened by chance upon mount Gilboa, behold, Saul leaned upon his spear; and, lo, the chariots and horsemen followed hard after him. And when he looked behind him, he saw me, and called unto me. And I answered, Here am I. And he said unto me, Who art thou? And I answered him, I am an Amalekite. He said unto me again, Stand, I pray thee, upon me, and slay me: for anguish is come upon me, because my life is yet whole in me. So I stood upon him, and slew him, because I was sure that he could not live after that he was fallen: and I took the crown that was upon his head, and the bracelet that was on his arm, and have brought them hither unto my lord. Then David took hold on his clothes, and rent them; and likewise all the men that were with him:
2Sa 1:13 — 2Sa 1:16 And David said unto the young man that told him, Whence art thou? And he answered, I am the son of a stranger, an Amalekite. And David said unto him, How wast thou not afraid to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD’s anointed? And David called one of the young men, and said, Go near, and fall upon him. And he smote him that he died. And David said unto him, Thy blood be upon thy head; for thy mouth hath testified against thee, saying, I have slain the LORD’s anointed.

2. Anamias and Saphira his wife, who died inside the church for lying.

Act 5:1 — Act 5:11 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles’ feet. But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whilst it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things. And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him. And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in. And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much. Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out. Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband. And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.

May the good Lord use this word to deliver you in particular from punishment and consequences of lying, now and in eternity in Jesus name.

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | August 28, 2020 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise. – Psalms 57:7

Dearly beloved brethren, majority of those who are professing religion globally are to be pitied.

Even though, they prided themselves that, they are peculiar, people, but then, they have nothing to show for it. The cankerworm for this is their deliberate destitution of biblical knowledge.

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:because thou hast rejected knowledge,I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
Isaiah 5:13 Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished,
and their multitude dried up with thirst.

But then it must never be so with you. In deed you are peculiar and you are supposed to be envied and this shall be your portion for a lifetime in Jesus name.

1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light

Beloved the one singular thing that shall continually distinguished you as a peculiar person in deed is your deliberate resolve to desire , pursue and embrace biblical truth.

John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
Hosea 6:3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | August 28, 2020 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | My heart is fixed, O God, I will sing and give praise – Psalms 57:7

Beloved brethren, one singular truth you must believe, embrace and live by , is that everything you will ever need for fulfilment in this life and the one to come,, shall always come from God.

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

But then you will always access and sustain them through Christ, freely.

Romans 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

It is this truth, that made the scriptures affirmed that without Christ you shall be nothing, but with Him, you shall attain all heights without stress.

I am persuaded you are going to determindly live by this biblical truth and here and hereafter, you shall be fulfilled beyond your widest dreams in Jesus name.

John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | August 28, 2020 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | My heart is fixed, O God, I will sing and give praise – Psalms 57:7

Dearly beloved, even though it is inexhaustive, see some of the things, you shall access and sustain for a lifetime and at eternity, through Christ.

1. Fulfillment of your widest dreams. He will make you possess your desired greener pastures.

Matthew 4:19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

2. Secured blissful eternity with God.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Jn 14:1 — Jn 14:3 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

3. Answer to all your prayers.

Jn 16:23 — Jn 16:24 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
Jn 14:13 — Jn 14:14 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

4. Lifetime all round peace

John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

5. Supply of all your needs.

Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | August 28, 2020 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | My heart is fixed, O God, I will sing and give praise – Psalms 57:7

What are you, now going to do with this faultless biblical truth? There are two things you must do till He comes.

1. You shall determindly henceforth, fix your heart and eyes on Jesus alone , trusting and reaching out to Him, to meet all your needs.

Psalms 57:7 My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise.
Psa 108:1 — Psa 108:2 O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.
Psalms 112:7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

2. You must resolutely cleave unto Him through thick and thin and nothing must separate you from Him.

Rom 8:35 — Rom 8:39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The reason for this is because, He alone is your unfailing secured anchor for earthly and eternal succour.

Heb 6:18 — Heb 6:20 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

May the good Lord help you in particular to be wise unto salvation in Jesus mighty name.

Dearly beloved, there is only one way to delight your heavenly Father at all times. It is by trusting Him alone, no matter what is happening around you.

Many saints in Bible days, including our Lord Jesus Christ, brought so much joy into the heart of our Father in heaven, as they stood their ground, when their lives were threatened by satan and his human agents. See some of them.

Jesus Christ our Lord.

Luk 13:31 — Luk 13:32 The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee. And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.

Nehemiah that governor.

Neh 6:10 — Neh 6:11 Afterward I came unto the house of Shemaiah the son of Delaiah the son of Mehetabeel, who was shut up; and he said, Let us meet together in the house of God, within the temple, and let us shut the doors of the temple: for they will come to slay thee; yea, in the night will they come to slay thee. And I said, Should such a man as I flee? and who is there, that, being as I am, would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in.
Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | August 27, 2020 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. – Psalms 56:3

Esther the queen.

Est 4:16 Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.

Paul apostle.

Act 21:11 — Act 21:13 And when he was come unto us, he took Paul’s girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles. And when we heard these things, both we, and they of that place, besought him not to go up to Jerusalem. Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

So beloved henceforth, like these saints of like passion, never ever cow before satan, no matter what is at stake. You must trust God at all times and in all things.

Psalms 56:3 What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
Psalms 62:8 Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him:God is a refuge for us. Selah.

Isa 26:3 — Isa 26:4 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee:because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | August 27, 2020 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. – Psalms 56:3

Dearly beloved, when you trust Him wholeheartedly without wavering, see what you too shall be experiencing.

Dan 3:24 — Dan 3:30 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God. Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort. Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in the province of Babylon.
Dan 6:19 — Dan 6:23 Then the king arose very early in the morning, and went in haste unto the den of lions. And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions? Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever. My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt. Then was the king exceeding glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God.

The three Hebrews and Daniel experienced uncommon protection and promotion after their ordeals.

God shall do more for you too as you make Him proud, trusting Him alone in all things and at all times.

Knowing  JESUS Daily Devotional | August 26, 2020 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice – Psalms 55:17

Beloved brethren, no doubt it is a great thing for you in particular to be a peculiar person and member of the royal family of the eternal God through Christ’s redemptive vicarious sacrifice.

1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

You must not relent in your preparedness to fully participate in the dawning Coronation of the one thousand millenium reign of Christ, your beloved Brother and Lord.

Jud 1:14 — Jud 1:15 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
LESSONS FROM PSALMS | Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice – Psalms 55:17

Because of this, sustain your lifetime, continual biblical sanctification experience and ensure your total affections are set on things above at all times, till Christ comes.

Eph 5:25 — Eph 5:27 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
Col 3:1 — Col 3:4 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

But then as you are doing all these conscientiously ,, do not be surprised, when the cohorts of the black vassal, launch recurrent assaults on you. This is the common lot of all the heirs and joint heirs with Christ.

2 Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
1 Peter 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
Rom 8:17 — Rom 8:18 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
LESSONS FROM PSALMS | Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice – Psalms 55:17

Dearly beloved when you are confronted with these inexplanable challenges, always remember the following:

1. It is a common temptation to edify and promote you.

1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

2. You don’t need to complain, or retreat from your pursuit of partaking in the forthcoming coronation of Christ’s millenium reign.

All you need to do is to turn to God alone in wholehearted effectual fervent prayers, like Jesus our Lord and savior did, during His earthly ministry.

Jesus and His lifestyle of prevailing prayers. Emulate Him.

Mark 1:35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.
Luk 6:12 And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
Mat 14:23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.
Luk 9:28 And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray.
Luk 3:21 — Luk 3:22 Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.

You too must be up and doing after the order of Christ in mountain moving prayers.

Psalms 55:17 Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
Luke 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
Jer 29:11 — Jer 29:13 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
LESSONS FROM PSALMS | Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice – Psalms 55:17

Certainly and assuredly as you do this, desired help shall come to you from the throne of grace in Jesus name.

Psalms 50:15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
Psalms 91:15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
Isaiah 65:24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
Mat 7:7 — Mat 7:11 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
Jam 5:16 — Jam 5:18 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.
LESSONS FROM PSALMS | Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice – Psalms 55:17

See testimonies of incredible mercies our Lord and saints of old received from our loving Father in heaven, as they turned to God alone in prevailing prayers. This shall be your own portion in Jesus name.

Jesus

Hebrews 5:7 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;

Hannah

1 Samuel 1:27 For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him:

Isaac

Genesis 25:21 And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.

Moses.

Jabez

1Ch 4:9 — 1Ch 4:10 And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

But then as you determindly engage in persevering prayers, if you discover that, desired response is not forthcoming, , then take time to check up , what might be hindering the prayers.

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice – Psalms 55:17

The Bible severally reveals that sins of all ramifications, little or big will hinder anyone and everyone from receiving answers to prayer. See some of these highly consequential revelations..

John 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.
Isa 59:1 — Isa 59:2 Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
Zechariah 7:13 Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the LORD of hosts:
Psalms 66:18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:
Proverbs 28:9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.
Pro 1:24 — Pro 1:32 Because I have called, and ye refused; U have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: It also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind;when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.

But then I am persuaded you shall never ever have challenges in your prayers, but that certainly end assuredly, the challenges confronting you shall turn to testimonies in Jesus name.

Luke 21:13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | August 25, 2020 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them. – Psalms 53:5

Dearly beloved, you must have insatiable passion to receive everything your loving Father in heaven shall be given you.

You are aware that only good things come from Him. He will continually load your life till Christ comes with daily blessings without sorrow in Jesus name.

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Psa 68:19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.
Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
LESSONS FROM PSALMS | There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee – Psalms 53:5

On the contrary beloved brethren, you must determindly reject anything and everything, coming from the devil.

One of such thing is fear. Fear is a spirit and a very potent and powerful weapon in the hand of satan. You must resolutely, reject it.

2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Sinners have reasons to be afraid of everything now and at eternity,.

Psalms 53:5 There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.
LESSONS FROM PSALMS | There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee – Psalms 53:5

But , you have nothing to be afraid of in the sky , land and Seas.

Nothing of the devil and his cohorts, spirit beings and human beings, must never ever terrify you and I mean you in particular.

Phi 1:28 And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.

The reason for this is because, Jesus Christ our Lord by His finished work on the cross had destroyed him, that is making humanity of all ages , which must exclude you, to be afraid.

Heb 2:14 — Heb 2:15 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers
of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
LESSONS FROM PSALMS | There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee – Psalms 53:5

But then, beloved brethren to help you in particular to be free from all forms of satanic fears, you in particular must fear God.

God your loving Father in heaven, said you in particular must fear Him.

Jeremiah 5:22 Fear ye not me? saith the LORD: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it?

Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior urges you and command you in particular to fear God .

Luke 12:5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

The blessed Holy Spirit, your lifetime, Comforter and companion, exhorted you in particular to fear God.

Heb 12:28 — Heb 12:29 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire.
LESSONS FROM PSALMS | There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee – Psalms 53:5

The Bible is repleted with scriptures on how to fear God. See some of them.

Job 28:28 And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom;and to depart from evil is understanding.
Psalms 112:1 Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
Proverbs 3:7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
Proverbs 8:13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.
Ecc 12:13 — Ecc 12:14 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

Dearly beloved brethren, once you fear God, this way, you have nothing else to fear.

This was what God told prophet Isaiah. He told him not to fear anything else apart from Him. See it.

Isa 8:9 — Isa 8:13 Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries:gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces;
gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces. Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought;speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us. For the LORD spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying, Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid. Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.
LESSONS FROM PSALMS | There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee – Psalms 53:5

Beloved as you commit yourself from now till Christ comes, to biblically fear God, then see the promises that shall be fulfilled in your life.

Heb 13:5 — Heb 13:6 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
Isa 43:1 — Isa 43:2 But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
Isa 46:3 — Isa 46:4 Hearken unto me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, which are borne by me from the belly, which are carried from the womb: And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.

It shall be so for you in particular in Jesus name.

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | August 24, 2020 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness. – Psalms 52:7

Dearly beloved, you must as a matter of compulsion take full advantage of your redemptive heritage.

Begin to access and sustain enjoying for a lifetime and at eternity, your loving Father’s inexhaustible durable and incorruptible riches.

Psa 36:8 — Psa 36:9 They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures. For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.
Psalms 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
Rev 21:3 — Rev 21:4 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
LESSONS FROM PSALMS | Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches and in his wickedness. – Psalms 52:7

Beloved these privileges of yours can only be fully optimized, when God is all you are looking up to in all things.

Psalms 62:5 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
Isaiah 45:22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else
Psalms 34:5 They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.

See some of the things you shall be enjoying freely , when you wholeheartedly look up to Him alone.

1. Power and wisdom for wealth.

Deuteronomy 8:18 But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

2. Unusual and uncommon protection

Psalms 127:1 Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

3. Exceeding and ceaseless desirable blessings without sorrow and stress.

Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.

4. Lifetime desirable all round increase.

1Co 3:6 — 1Co 3:7 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
LESSONS FROM PSALMS | Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches and in his wickedness. – Psalms 52:7

Beloved, all of these and many more shall be yours, when you come in, through the singular doorway.

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Surprisingly, multitude inside and outside of the church, don’t take full advantage of these. enviable privileges. This is because, they are full of themselves and depending solely on their intellectual capabilities.

Psa 10:4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God:God is not in all his thoughts.
Psalms 52:7 Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.
LESSONS FROM PSALMS | Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches and in his wickedness. – Psalms 52:7

These people are unlike you, who have confidence in God, but, they have confidence in themselves.

Philippians 3:3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
Proverbs 3:26 For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

Because of these, see what shall ultimately be there lots. None of these shall be your portion in Jesus name.

1 Wasted lifetime endeavor.

Luk 12:16 — Luk 12:21 And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
Psa 49:10 — Psa 49:12 For he seeth that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others. Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names. Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish.

2. Eternal flames and damnation of their precious undying soul.

Luk 16:19 — Luk 16:24 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
Rev 3:14 — Rev 3:18 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
LESSONS FROM PSALMS | Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches and in his wickedness. – Psalms 52:7

Beloved, I am persuaded of you that, you don’t fall into the categories of these people inside or outside of the church.

But just for the purposes of self examination, do you rely on God or your sensual capabilities for desired ambitions?

2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

Are you pursuing transient and ephemeral at the expense of your precious undying soul? Your answer should be affirmative no.

See what the scriptures says.

1 Corinthians 15:19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
Matthew 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Luke 9:25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?
LESSONS FROM PSALMS | Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches and in his wickedness. – Psalms 52:7

Just in case you discover you have tendency to this untoward highly consequential attitude, our glorified master and Lord in heaven said you should repent now, this is because, tomorrow might be too late.

Rev 3:19. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Ezekiel 18:30 Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
2 Corinthians 6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

The good Lord shall help you in particular to be wise unto salvation in Jesus name.

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | August 23, 2020 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. – Psalms 51:7

Dearly beloved, our Lord is interested in saving you and at the same time making use of you in particular, to advance His kingdom.

In addition, our Lord is interested in teaching you to have full understanding of the truths in the Bible and raising you up as a teacher to teach others and bring them to His kingdom.

John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

One of the twenty two doctrines of the Bible you must experience and have full understanding about is sanctification.

There are numerous proofs in the Bible, affirming that, sanctification is the second work of grace,, subsequent to biblical salvation.

LESSONS FROM PSALMS | Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. – Psalms 51:7

Beloved see it established in the following scriptures.

1. Purge me, I shall be clean, salvation. Cleanse me and I shall be whiter than snow , sanctification.

Psa 51:7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean:w wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

2. Clean hands, salvation. Pure heart, sanctification.

Psa 24:3 — Psa 24:4 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD?or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart;who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity,n norsworn deceitfully.

3. Forgiveness of sin, salvation. Cleanse from all unrighteousne, sanctification.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness
LESSONS FROM PSALMS | Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. – Psalms 51:7

Beside this, beloved brethren, is refered to by different names in the Bible.

1. Circumcision of heart.

Deuteronomy 30:6And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

2 Clean hands and pure heart.

Psa 24:3 — Psa 24:4 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD?or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart;who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity,n norsworn deceitfully.

3. Removal of stony heart.

Ezekiel 36:26A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
LESSONS FROM PSALMS | Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. – Psalms 51:7

4. Purity of heart.

Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

5. Moral perfection.

Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

6. Holiness of life.

Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

7. Walking with God.

Genesis 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
Genesis 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
LESSONS FROM PSALMS | Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. – Psalms 51:7

Beloved, the Bible also reveals biblical ways of getting sanctified. See them.

1. Sanctification through God the Father.

Lev 20:7 — Lev 20:8 Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God. And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the LORD which sanctify you.

2. Sanctification through the word of God.

John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

3. Sanctification through the blessed Holy Spirit.

Romans 15:16 That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.

4. The blood of Jesus.

Hebrews 13:12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.
LESSONS FROM PSALMS | Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. – Psalms 51:7

Further more the Bible reveal evidences of sanctification, if you profess that you have experienced this second work of grace.

They are inexhaustible But see the following and thoroughly examine yourself, whether you have experienced it.

2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

After the thorough examination, if you discover that you have experienced it, keep it jealousy till Christ comes.

This is because it is your Visa to enter Heaven. If you have not experienced it, reach out to Calvary immediately, this is because without it, living with God in heaven, is an illusion. See these evidences yourself.

1. Abstaining from all forms of licentious lifestyle.

1 Thessalonians 4:3 For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:

2. Living blameless lifestyle.

1 Thessalonians 2:10 Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe:

3. Harmless and a living a lifestyle of being epistle for Christ to bring other to Him.

Philippians 2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

4. Committed to serving the Lord and walking in daily biblical righteousness and holiness.

Luk 1:74 — Luk 1:75 Thate would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him,all the days of our life.

5. Forgiving others like Christ.

Luke 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
Acts 7:60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
LESSONS FROM PSALMS | Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. – Psalms 51:7

6. Meek and lowly in heart.

Matthew 11:29Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

7. Living to please Christ in all things.

2Co 5:14 — 2Co 5:15 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

8. Committed to doing God’s perfect will in all things and at all times.

John 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
1Pe 4:1 — 1Pe 4:2Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

9. Not revengeful or retaliatory.

1 Peter 2:23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:

10. Kindly hearted and free from all inward sins.

Eph 4:31 — Eph 4:32Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

11. Obedient to God in all things and at all times and humble like Christ.

Philippians 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

12. Labouring to seek and save the lost from eternal flames.

Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
John 4:34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
John 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

Phi 2:9 — Phi 2:11 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Dearly beloved, see heroes of faith in the time past that paid the requisite premium price and won the enviable eternal Prize.

1. Moses

Heb 11:24 — Heb 11:26 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.

2. Paul apostle.

Phi 3:7 — Phi 3:8 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

3. The twelve apostles of Christ.

Mar 10:28 — Mar 10:30 Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee. And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.
Act 6:2 — Act 6:4 Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables. Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business. But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.

4. Prophet Samuel.

1Sa 12:23 Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way:

5. Nehemiah that led the rebuilding of the broken wall of Jerusalem.

Neh 6:1 — Neh 6:4 Now it came to pass, when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and Geshem the Arabian, and the rest of our enemies, heard that I had builded the wall, and that there was no breach left therein; (though at that time I had not set up the doors upon the gates;) That Sanballat and Geshem sent unto me, saying, Come, let us meet together in some one of the villages in the plain of Ono. But they thought to do me mischief. And I sent messengers unto them, saying, I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you? Yet they sent unto me four times after this sort; and I answered them after the same manner.

7. Ruth , the great grand mother of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Rth 1:12 — Rth 1:18 Turn again, my daughters, go your way; for I am too old to have an husband. If I should say, I have hope, if I should have an husband also to night, and should also bear sons; Would ye tarry for them till they were grown? would ye stay for them from having husbands? nay, my daughters; for it grieveth me much for your sakes that the hand of the LORD is gone out against me. And they lifted up their voice, and wept again: and Orpah kissed her mother in law; but Ruth clave unto her. And she said, Behold, thy sister in law is gone back unto her people, and unto her gods: return thou after thy sister in law. And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me. When she saw that she was stedfastly minded to go with her, then she left speaking unto her.

8. Daniel the faithful president.

Daniel 1:8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

9. Ezra the priest that led the rebuilding of the plundered temple at Jerusalem.

Ezra 7:10 For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments.

10. You. I mean your very person. See what you are to do

Psa 118:27 God is the Lord, which hath shewed us light:bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.

1Ch 29:5 The gold for things of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and for all manner of work to be made by the hands of artificers. And who then is willing to consecrate his service this day unto the Lord?

Luke 9:62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

Rom 12:1 — Rom 12:2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The grace of God shall be sufficient for you in particular in Jesus name.
