August 31, 2019 – Enrich and Sustain your relationship with Jesus reading our daily devotional – SANCTIFIED and to explain the reason why you need to HOLD ON TO SOUND DOCTRINE

1 Thessalonians 5:23  And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Beloved,  from time immemorial satan  has been reputed to be  very deceptive.  The scriptures referred to it in different ways.  See some of them.
1. He has devices.

2 Co 2:11  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

2. He had wiles.

Ephesians 6:11  Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

3. The deceiver of the whole  world.

Revelation 12:9  And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

4. More subtle than other beasts.

Genesis 3:1  Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

5. Father of liars.

John 8:44  Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Beloved , it is painful that satan at this perilous time, deviced  a  very subtle dambable doctrine,  that is so potent and swaying multitude of the so called believers to perdition.
You shall not be swayed in Jesus name.

1 Timothy 4:1  Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

The  Bible refers to it as another gospel or another Jesus.

2Co 11:32Co 11:4  But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

Gal 1:6Gal 1:9  I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

Remember this. The nature  of  your Father in heaven is holiness and calls all His saints from eternity past to eternity future to sane.

1Pe 1:141Pe 1:16  As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

Psalms 145:17  The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.

Anyone and everyone that desires to have anything to do with God must agree with this unchanging standard.

Amos 3:3  Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

His eyes is pure,  He does not tolerate uncleanness or licentious lifestyle from anyone.

Habakkuk 1:13  Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?

Anyone and everyone that shall live with Him in eternity must be righteous without and holy within.

Psa 24:3Psa 24:4  Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

Isaiah 57:15  For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

No wonder when Abraham was not consistent in his walk with Him,  He called him to order.

Genesis 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

Zacharias and Elizabeth were able to walk with Him,  because they were both righteous through and through.

Luk 1:5Luk 1:6  There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth. And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

God’s  expectations from all His saints and that includes you,  is that you must be holy,  righteous and sanctified in your spirit , soul and body.

1 Thessalonians 5:23  And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Now the most dangerous and dambable  doctrine of the devil at this perilous time is that,  God is only interested in your heart or spirit  and you can do whatever you like with your body and soul or your mind.  It is very unfortunate that the church of Christ  globally is presently being swayed away by this other gospel.  I am persuaded you  are not.   Please see these  scriptures.

Rom 12:1Rom 12:2   I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

1Co 6:191Co 6:20 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Beloved,  you  discover that from these  two scriptures,  God is interested in your heart,  that is your spirit,  then  your mind,  which is your soul and then your body. All must be presented holy and blameless to God,  if you will end up with Him in eternity.  No defiled person shall enter heaven.

Revelation 21:27  And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

May God help you in particular  to be wise and  not to  be deluded by this dambable doctrine ,  called another gospel in Jesus name.
Dearly beloved, during the earthly ministry of our Lord, He taught the wholesome doctrine that touches believers spirit, soul and body. See it,

Mat 5:3Mat 5:12 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Our Lord called His followers in Bible days and by extension His followers of all ages, which include you to be perfect, the same way God called Abraham to perfection.

Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

This perfection does not make you to have same knowledge like Him, but same nature like Him.

Deuteronomy 18:13. Thou shalt be perfect with the Lord thy God.

See the perfection required from all humanity, including you.
Perfection in Noah.

Genesis 6:9. These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

Perfection in Job.

Job 1:8. And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

Perfection in king Hezekiah.

Isaiah 38:3. And said, Remember now, O Lord, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.

So when God or Jesus calls you to perfection, it is to have the same nature of holiness and righteousness they both have.

Ephesians 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

This required perfection compels all professing children of God to present themselves wholly to God, spirit, soul and body in holiness and true righteousness.
It is this same perfection that the blessed Holy Spirit revealed to the church through apostle Paul. That, the believers and that includes you must present their spirit, soul and body blameless to God. If such people will ever have anything to do with God on this side of heaven or at eternality. See it.

1 Thessalonians 5:23  And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

See how other scriptures affirm it differently but meaning same thing.

1 Thessalonians 4:7  For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.

Romans 1:7  To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

1Co 1:8  Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Phi 2:15  That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

1Th 3:121Th 3:13  And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you: To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.

Col 1:21Col 1:22 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

Eph 5:25Eph 5:27  Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Tit 2:11Tit 2:14  For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Dearly beloved do not be swayed by this demonic doctrine that makes a person licentious and still professing religion. Your spirit, soul and body must be holy and blameless, to have access to eternity or be part of the dawning rapture.. The good Lord shall help you in particular in Jesus name.

1 Thessalonians 5:23  And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Friend, glory to God, you are part of the few in the church world that are awaken to the reality of this end time, that is very perilous. The rapture is dawning. Please be prepared. But then you must validate your resolve to partake in this imminent event, by doing away with anything in your spirit, soul and body, that can defile you.

Revelation 21:27  And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Your spirit, soul and body must be blameless to see Christ in eternity or partake in the rapture.

1 Thessalonians 5:23  And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

See these two scriptures, one in the Old Testament and the other in the New Testament, describing the requisites  to seeing the Lord at the end of time.
Old Testament.

Isa 33:15Isa 33:17  He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil; He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure. Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty:they shall behold the land that is very far off.

New Testament.

2Pe 3:112Pe 3:14  Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.  Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

Receive grace that helps you to keeps your spirit, soul and body blameless in preparation for meeting Christ in the air after the trumpet in Jesus name.

1 Thessalonians 5:23  And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

CLCBC | Knowing Jesus Daily Devotional | 1 Thessalonians 5:18  In all [ every ] things give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Beloved,  you must come to understand God. That He meant everything written in the scriptures.  He commanded you in particular,  to thank Him always in every situation.  It is not an advise  but a commandment. It is not optional but compulsory.  See it.
See  instances  in the Bible days,  how saints of old thank Him. You also must join them in thanking Him always,  whatever is happening in your life.

Psa 34:14  I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.  I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

Psa 92:1-4  It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound. For thou, Lord, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

Psa 100:15  Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.  Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.  Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.  Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Psa 103:15  Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; He redeems thy life from destruction; and crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Also He satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Moses and the children of Israel sang  after the Lord gave them victory  over Pharaoh and Egypt.  You also must sing whenever God gives you victory over your enemies.

Exo 15:113  Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the Lord, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the Lord, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea. The Lord is my strength and song,  and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father’s God, and I will exalt him. The Lord is a man of war: the Lord is his name.  Pharaoh’s chariots and his host hath he cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea. The depths have covered them: they sank into the bottom as a stone.  Thy right hand, O Lord, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O Lord, hath dashed in pieces the enemy. And in the greatness of thine excellency thou hast overthrown them that rose up against thee: thou sentest forth thy wrath, which consumed them as stubble. And with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap,  and the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea. The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.  Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters.  Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?  Thou stretchedst out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them. Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou hast redeemed: thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy holy habitation.

2. Job worshiped God when all His properties and children were destroyed by Satan.
Whenever you too have lost anything, you must still praised God  that the  loose  was moderated.
You did not loose all and that includes  your life.  So thank God as commanded.
If God had not  intervene  may be your life too might have been lost so always thank God.

Job 1:20  Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshiped,

Remember this  don’t ever  forget.  When Israel murmured because of a challenge.  God was displeased  and destroyed them.
You could loose many things even your life ,  for complaining.   See it.

Num 11:12  And when the people complained, it displeased the Lord: and the Lord heard it; His anger was kindled; the fire of the Lord burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp. Also the people cried unto Moses; when Moses prayed unto the Lord, the fire was quenched.

So whatever happens,  always thank God according to this passage.  See it.

1 Thessalonians 5:18  In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Dearly beloved,  Jesus during His earthly ministry gave us a example with His lifestyle,  on how to live a thankful life.  See some of them.
When His Father in heaven supported His ministry,  He thanked God.

Mat 11:25  At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.

When He multiplied bread , He thanked God.

Mat 15:36  And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

When He was instituting the Lord”s supper ,  He thanked God.

Mat 26:27  And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;

When Lazarus died,  thanked God.

Jn 11:41  Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.

Before He was arrested and crucified He thanked  God.

Mat 26:30  And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.

He then taught His disciples in Bible days and His disciples of all ages and that includes you.  To thank God in prayer first,  before you asked for anything.  See it.

Mat 6:910  After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven

The blessed  Holy Spirit then used the apostle Paul to write to the church of the blessings derivable from thanking God on this side of heaven  and even at eternity.
Also the consequences of  not been thankful is very fearful.
So He commanded the church to thank God in every  situation and at all times.  See it.
See how other scriptures affirmed it.

Ephesians 5:20  Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Philippians 4:6  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Colossians 3:17  And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Hebrews 13:15  By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

See the consequences of not thanking God is fearsome.  It could even jeopardise the eternal well being of the person.

Rom 1:2127 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.  Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.  For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

1Co 10:1011  Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

Friend,  it is important for you to continue to prepare for the coming of our Lord tirelessly.
This is because only those who are looking forward to His coming shall have part in the dawning rapture.

Heb 9:28  So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Friend ,  it is very very important that you remain thankful,  if you desire to  be part of this imminent event.
The unthankful in both old and new testaments were destroyed here on earth  and damned at eternity.
The commandment of God to you is be thankful and keep thanking Him in all circumstances of life.

Col 3:15  And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Psalms 100:4  Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Friend,  why must you be thankful?  It is because after the rapture,  for all eternity,  why others shall be suffering in the eternal lake of fire.
We shall be worshipping and praising and thanking God for all eternity.  You shall be there in Jesus name.
See some references on this.

Rev 4:810  And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.  And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,

Whenever you read about twenty four elders in the book of revelations.  It is the symbolic representation of the raptured  saints. So it is referring to how you and others shall worship God for all eternity.

Rev 7:916  After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. One of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?  Also I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. He said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.

Rev 19:49  And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia. And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great. And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. To her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. Also he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. He saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

So friend you have no reason to  recount or regret because of the challenges in your life ,  because of your Christian faith.  Keep thanking God.  This because this is the only thing you and us shall do for all eternity  as members of the twenty four elders.  You shall be there in Jesus name.

See you at the top in Jesus name

HE WILL SURELY COME AGAIN | KnowingJesus Daily Devotional

Enrich and Sustain your relationship and fellowship with Jesus on a daily basis as you read our daily devotional {www.clcbconline.com}

August 29, 2019 – Enrich and Sustain your relationship with Jesus reading our daily devotional – HE WILL SURELY COME AGAIN… Are you ready to meet with Him?

1Th 4:15-17  For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Beloved,  God is reputed not to be a liar. Every word that proceeded from His mouth shall always be fulfilled in its season.

Isaiah 55:11  So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

He has a time frame for all things..

Isaiah 60:22  A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation:I the Lord will hasten it in his time.

Some  few saints were extra  ordinarily  favoured in the time past.  They were carried back to heaven in an unusual ways.  See them.
1. Enoch was carried back to heaven without seeing death.

Gen 5:22Gen 5:24  And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

Hebrews 11:5  By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

2.  Elijah  also experienced the same thing like  Enoch.

2 Kings 2:11  And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

3.  Our Lord Jesus Christ also was taken to heaven,  however,  after He died and resurrected.

1Th 4:131Th 4:14  But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

These privileges that these three people experienced was however  promised in the time table of God to happen to multitude of dead and living believers in a distant future. This was referred to in the new testament as catching up of the saints or the rapture. See it.

1Th 4:151Th 4:17  For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

Beloved,  I am sure you are adequately  preparing for it. This is because it could even take place as you are reading this message of devotion.   Be wise to prepare adequately.  It shall happen suddenly without notice.

1Co 15:511Co 15:52  Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

The good Lord shall help you to partake in this glorious imminent event in Jesus name.
Dearly beloved, Jesus during His earthly ministry  promised the Bible  days believers  and by extension the believers of all ages,  which include you a unique visitation.  He promised to revisit them and received them  to Himself,  either after they have died or while they are still alive.  See the promise.

Jn 14:1Jn 14:3  Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Remember this unique privilege was meant only for His followers.  The old testament saints apart from Enoch and Elijah,  never had this gracious and glorious privilege. This is the  reason why you should do everything  it will take for this glorious event not to elude you. It shall not in Jesus name.
It was this glorious promised visitation  of Jesus  to the  dead and living believers that the blessed Holy  Spirit  through apostle Paul was revealing. .Our Lord Jesus Christ called it receiving believers  to Himself,  the blessed Holy Spirit  calls it, being caught  up to meet
Jesus in the air.

1Th 4:151Th 4:17  For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

This same glorious event was reaffirmed  in other scriptures.

2Co 4:132Co 4:14  We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.

The Bible also referred to it as being  delivered  from partaking  in great  tribulations. See it.

1Th 1:91Th 1:10  For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true

God; And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

Rev 3:10Rev 3:11  Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Dearly beloved,  knowing fully that God will fulfill everything the scriptures says in its season.  Be adequately prepare for this promised imminent event. It shall not elude you in Jesus name.

Isaiah 34:16  Seek ye out of the book of the Lord, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them

Friend,  no doubt the message of the dawning rapture is no more news  to you. You are  persuaded about  it.  This also informed your daily preparation.  This particular passage reaffirmed it’s imminence  and certainity.  See it.

1Th 4:151Th 4:17  For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

Because of this, take  advantage of His sufficient grace to  always  live  a godly lifestyle,  in  anticipation  of the  imminent coming of the Lord

Tit 2:11Tit 2:13  For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

In addition, live  with eternity in view till you see Jesus and be ready like the five wise virgins.

Col 3:1Col 3:4  If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Also labour to prepare members of your world of influence to partake in the rapture too.

1Pe 5:11Pe 5:4  The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

Daniel 12:3  And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

Finally live   a lifestyle of biblical purity till He comes.

1Jo 3:11Jo 3:3 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

The good Lord shall continually help you on particular till it takes place on Jesus name

WALK BLAMELESSLY AND HOLILY | KnowingJESUS Daily Devotional

Enrich and Sustain your relationship and fellowship with Jesus on a daily basis as you read our daily devotional {www.clcbconline.com}

August 28, 2019 – Enrich and Sustain your relationship with Jesus reading our daily devotional – WALK BLAMELESSLY AND HOLILY as Children of God

1 Thessalonians 2:10  Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe:

Beloved,  God your Father has a unique nature.  It is blameless holiness.

Exodus 15:11  Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods?  Who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?

Psalms 145:17  The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.

His name and habitation are holy.

Isaiah 57:15  For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

It was this holiness that Adam lost when he sinned against God in the beginning.

Eph 4:24  And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

The saints of God either in the old or  new testaments are called to be holy.

1Pe 1:141Pe 1:16  As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

Beloved God accept only holy worship.

1Ch 16:29  Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name:bring an offering, and come before him: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

It takes biblical holiness to access holy heaven.

Psa 15:1Psa 15:5  Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.  In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the Lord. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not. He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

Psa 24:3Psa 24:4  Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place?  He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

The singular way to heaven is called the way of holiness.

Isa 35:8Isa 35:9 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein. No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:

Unfortunately,  the same way Adam lost the nature of holiness,  Israel  also as a nation,  lost holiness and were  damned.

Jer 2:3  Israel was holiness unto the Lord, and the firstfruits of his increase: all that devour him shall offend; evil shall come upon them, saith the Lord.

Beloved, like Paul apostle, you must sustain your holiness lifestyle,  to enable you see God at the end of time.

1 Thessalonians 2:10  Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe:

Deary  beloved, when angel Gabriel came to announce the coming of our Lord ,  to the earth.  He referred to Him ,  as holy.

Luk 1:35  And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

When the apostles were praying,  they referred  to Jesus as holy.

Act 4:27  For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,

Act 4:30  By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.

When the blessed Holy spirit spoke about Jesus,  He said He was holy.

Hebrews 7:26  For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

When Jesus was here  during  His earthly ministry,  He lived a sanctified lifestyle.

John 17:19  And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

He taught His disciplines purity for them to see God at the end of time.

Matthew 5:8  Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

The blessed Holy Spirit,  being one of the  triune God,  revealed the all important requisite of believers living a lifestyle of holiness  before they could have access to God here and hereafter.  No doubt your earnest desire  is to live with God at eternity.  Then you must be determinedly live a lifestyle of biblical holiness like apostle Paul  see it

1 Thessalonians 2:10  Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe:

The Bible affirmed this important truth  to be so. See some of them.

Luk 1:75  In holiness and righteousness before him,all the days of our life.

Rom 6:19  I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

Rom 6:22  But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

2 Corinthians 7:1  Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

1Th 3:121Th 3:13 And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you: To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.

1 Thessalonians 4:7  For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.

Always remember this most important exhortation.  Except you are biblical holy on this side of heaven.  Seeing God at the end of time, shall be a delusion and unattainable dream.  So be Biblical holy.  Receive grace to do so in Jesus name..

Hebrews 12:14  Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Friend, of a true rapture is dawning.  After this glorious event we shall be with Jesus  for ever in heaven.  It shall not elude you in particular in Jesus name.

1Th 4:151Th 4:17  For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

But then  it is very important for you to know that heaven  is a holy place.

Deu 26:15  Look down from thy holy habitation, from heaven, and bless thy people Israel, and the land which thou hast given us, as thou swarest unto our fathers, a land that floweth with milk and honey.

Psa 24:3Psa 24:4  Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord?or who shall stand in his holy place?  He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

Also  that God is holy.

Isaiah 57:15  For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Remember Jesus is holy.

Act 4:30  By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus

In addition  the Holy Spirit is the spirit of holiness. . He is holy too.

Romans 1:4  And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

1Jo 5:7  For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

The angels in  heaven are Holy angels

Mat 25:31  When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

The saints in heaven are holy brethren.

Hebrews 3:1  Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;

Rev 14:4Rev 14:5  These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

Nothing unclean shall have  access to heaven or  partake in the rapture.

Revelation 21:27  And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Friend,  for you in particular  to meet  the Lord in the air.  You must be living a lifestyle of biblical holiness till you see Jesus,  like apostle  Paul.

1 Thessalonians 2:10  Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe:

For  you in particular not to be here to witness the cruel time of great tribunalation,  holiness as a  lifestyle is not optional bur compulsory.

Friend,  one way to validate your seeing God at the end of time is biblical holiness.  Don’t ever forget.

Isa 33:15Isa 33:17 He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly;he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil; He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks:bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.  Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.

Hebrews 12:14  Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Receive grace now to begin to live holily like Paul till Jesus cones.

1 Thessalonians 2:10  Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe:

TURNING TO GOD | KnowingJESUS Daily Devotional

Enrich and Sustain your relationship and fellowship with Jesus on a daily basis as you read our daily devotional {www.clcbconline.com}

August 27, 2019 – Enrich and Sustain your relationship with Jesus reading our daily devotional – TURNING AWAY FROM IDOLS TO SERVE THE LIVING GOD.

1 Thessalonians 1:9  For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;

Beloved, you must  determinedly  avoid the undoing of Lucifer,  former angel in heaven,  now satan,  destined for he’ll and eternal damnation.  You must determinedly avoid the undoing of Adam,  who lost the nature of God and the palatial garden.
You wonder while this happened to both satan and  Adam?  It was because either in the period of law or grace,  God remains intolerant to sin.  His eyes is to pure to behold it.

Habakkuk 1:13  Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?

See as far back as the time of Genesis in the old testament,  God demanded  perfection from Abraham.

Genesis 17:1  And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

God demanded from backsliden  Israel,  complete  turning away from sin,

2 Chronicles 7:14  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Beloved,  it takes total freedom  from sin to secure mercy from God.

Proverbs 28:13  He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

Because you are a very  wise person,  you must through the grace of God, attain a lifestyle of sinlessness.

Rom 6:1Rom 6:2   What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

This becomes a compulsion for you because of the following.  See them.
Sin ruins life.

Ezekiel 18:30  Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord God. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.

Sin bring sickness and death.

Psa 107:17Psa 107:18  Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted. Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death.

Ezekiel 18:4  Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

Romans 6:23  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Sin hinders good things from you here and at eternity.

Jeremiah 5:25  Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden good things from you.

Sin separates you from God here and at eternity and makes your prayers unanswered.

Isa 59:1Isa 59:2  Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God,and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

Sin brings affliction upon you.

Psa 119:67 Before I was afflicted I went astray:but now have I kept thy word.

Sin gives license to Satan to attack you.

Ecc 10:8  He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.

No wonder you are commanded to be free totally from sin.

2 Timothy 2:19  Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Dearly beloved,  don’t be deluded by the deception and wilful licentious lifestyle of vast majority of those who profess religion globally.  Biblical salvation enables you to live a  sin free lifestyle.  See what this  scripture says.

1 John 2:1  My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

It says you should not sin. It is not an advise  but a commandment with consequence.  This was what Jesus demanded from all His followers,  during His earthly ministry.  It is also want is demanded  from believers of all ages and that includes you.

John 5:14  Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.

John 8:11  She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

This is what it means to be born again Biblical.

John 3:3  Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Jesus”s  redemptive work on the cross has capabilities to make you free completely from sin.

John 8:36  If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Like God the Father,  demanded from Abraham and all the old testament saints, to be perfect.

Deut 18:13 Thou shalt be perfect with the Lord thy God.

Jesus also demanded from all believers in the period of grace to be perfect.

Matthew 5:48  Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

It was this perfection that enables freedom from sin,  that the apostles and disciples in Bible days preached to sinners.  They encouraged sinners to completely turned from sins,  when they were converted.  See it.

1 Thessalonians 1:9  For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;

See how several other scriptures affirmed it.

2 Corinthians 5:17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Romans 6:4   Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Rom 6:1Rom 6:2   What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Rom 6:12Rom 6:18  Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

2Ti 3:162Ti 3:17  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Heb 13:20Heb 13:21  Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Dearly beloved,  if you really claim to be born again,  you must be free from sin.  This alone is the guarantee that you shall have access to heaven or be part of the dawning rapture.  Don’t ever forget  this.

Revelation 21:27  And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Friend, praise God you are tirelessly preparing for the dawning rapture.  Your earnest desire shall be granted in Jesus name.  It shall not elude you in Jesus name. But you must understand who have ownership of you.
Some churchgoers belong to the devil. Why some belong to God. See it. Those who belong to the devil.

1 John 3:8  He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Those who belong to God.

1Jo 3:91Jo 3:10  Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

Pause a little and ponder on the scriptures above.  Where do you belong?  If you are still committing sin,  you belong to the devil. Repent immediately.
If you are free from sin,  then you belong to God. Remember this.
Sin removes your name from the book of life and send the person to the lake of fire,  missing the rapture.  You shall not miss it in Jesus name. So be free from sin.

Exodus 32:33  And the Lord said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.

Revelation 20:15  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Sin will hinder anyone and everyone from accessing heaven or partaking in the rapture.

Revelation 21:27  And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Revelation 21:8  But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

So to validate your desire to be part of  he rapture, receive grace to be free from sin.

2 Corinthians 9:8  And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

Tit 2:11Tit 2:14 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

STAY FOCUS TO THE TASK | And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it - Colossians 4:17

August 26, 2019 – Enrich and Sustain your relationship with Jesus reading our daily devotional – STAY FOCUS TO THE TASKS GIVEN TO US BY CHRIST.

STAY FOCUS TO THE TASK | And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it – Colossians 4:17

Beloved,  it is very important for you to always do everything  you are engaged in doing , now from the perspective of eternity.  The successes  accomplished on this side of heaven  by you is  not a guarantee  that you have done what God ordained  you to do. See  what Jesus our Lord said.

John 6:38  For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

Beloved  your sojourn on earth is very minute,  insignificant and infinitesimal to the time you are going  to spend at eternity.  So be determined  to  pursue what would give you in particular joy and  reward at  eternity.

Deuteronomy 32:29 O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!

God  your  loving  Father  has a unique purpose for your existence  on this side of heaven.  You must discover it and pursue it.

Jeremiah 29:11  For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end

STAY FOCUS TO THE TASK | And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it – Colossians 4:17
It is by doing so that you shall have a reward from Him at eternity. A lot of people might achieve  greatness  on earth and might even be envied by others.  Such people might have irreparable regret at eternity  for failure to discover and do their God ordained purpose  on this side of heaven.  Pause a little and ponder.
Have you discovered God”s purpose for you on earth?   Are you Fulfilling His ordained assignment or you are pursuing your own selfish agenda? You might seems to be successful,  but if it us  your selfish ambition you achieve on earth,  then  therr shall not be any  reward for you at eternity
So endeavour to discover God’s original purpose  for you and pursue it . Doing this alone guarantee  eternal  rewrds for you. See  brethren of like passion that discovered God’s purpose for  their lives and fulfilled then.
Abraham

Gen 12:1Gen 12:4   Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. So Abram departed, as the Lord had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.

STAY FOCUS TO THE TASK | And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it – Colossians 4:17
Joseph

Gen 37:5Gen 37:7  And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more. And he said unto them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed: For, behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and, lo, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and, behold, your sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to my sheaf.

Genesis 37:9  And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his

Brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.

Solomon

1Ch 28:91Ch 28:10  And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the Lord searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever. Take heed now; for the Lord hath chosen thee to build an house for the sanctuary: be strong, and do it.

Jeremiah

Jer 1:4Jer 1:10 Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord. Then the Lord put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the Lord said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

Ezekiel.

Ezk 3:4 — Ezk 3:6  And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them. For thou art not sent to a people of a strange speech and of an hard language, but to the house of Israel; Not to many people of a strange speech and of an hard language, whose words thou canst not understand. Surely, had I sent thee to them, they would have hearkened unto thee.

Ezk 3:16 — Ezk 3:21  And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.

STAY FOCUS TO THE TASK | And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it – Colossians 4:17

Beloved,  see God’s promised reward  if you fulfil His purpose on earth.

Isaiah 40:10  Behold, the Lord God will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

1Co 3:71Co 3:8  So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

Receive this exhortation and do likewise.

Colossians 4:17  And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.

STAY FOCUS TO THE TASK | And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it – Colossians 4:17
Dearly beloved,  during the earthly   ministry of our Lord,  He committed Himself to doing only what God  sent Him and finished it.

John 6:38  For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

John 8:29  And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.

John 4:34  Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

John 17:4  I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

In the same way  God the Father sent Him to fulfil a particular assignment,  so also He commissioned  believers  of all ages and you to do likewise.

John 17:18  As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

John 20:21  Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

STAY FOCUS TO THE TASK | And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it – Colossians 4:17
So Jesus ordained all His followers  and that includes you in particular,  for specific assignment.  Have you discovered this assignment?  What are you doing presently?  God ordained assignment  or your own selfish agenda?  See how He ordained.

Mar 3:14 — Mar 3:19  And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach, And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils: And Simon he surnamed Peter; And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder: And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite, And Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house.

Jesus’  special  assignment  for Peter apostle

Mat 16:16Mat 16:19  And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Luke 5:10  And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.

Now to help believers  of all ages and you in particular to endeavour to discover and fulfil only God’s purpose  for your life, the blessed Holy  Spirit used apostle Paul  to write this all important exhortation.

See how others  too discovered their specific callings and fulfilled them. So you too must follow  their good example.

Act 9:10Act 9:16  And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord. And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth, And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight. Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem: And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name. But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake.

Acts 20:28  Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

Philip  the evangelust

Act 21:8  And the next day we that were of Paul’s company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him.

Paul apostle

Romans 1:1  Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,

Ephesians 4:11  And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

2 Timothy 4:5  But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

STAY FOCUS TO THE TASK | And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it – Colossians 4:17
Peter

1 Peter 1:1  Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,

Dearly beloved,  see  how  Paul discoveed his calling and did it.

Act 26:12Act 26:18 Whereupon as I went to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests, At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me. And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Receive grace to discover and do God’s assignment for you now,  for a  glorious unending eternal rewards.
Friend,  please don’t be tired to prepare for the dawning rapture. This is because it is the stepping stone to the marriage supper a forum where believers of  all ages  which must not exclude you shall be rewarded.
STAY FOCUS TO THE TASK | And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it – Colossians 4:17

Revelation 22:12  And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

2Ti 4:72Ti 4:8  I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

1Pe 5:11Pe 5:4  The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being en-samples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

1 Corinthians 15:58  Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, inasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Col 3:23Col 3:24  And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

So endeavor to  fulfill your ordained ministry to receive glorious reward.  See the attached video.

Colossians 4:17  And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfill it.

PURSUING CHRIST-LIKENESS | KnowingJESUS Daily Devotional

Enrich and Sustain your relationship and fellowship with Jesus on a daily basis as you read our daily devotional {www.clcbconline.com}

Today August 25, 2019 in our Daily Devotional, the topic before us is PURSUING CHRIST-LIKENESS

Col 3:12Col 3:13  Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

Beloved, God the Father loves humanity,  the crown of His creation.  It cist Him something.

John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

if truely you lover God too in appreciation of His love for you,  it will cost you too something dearly.

1 John 5:3  For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

Abraham loved God so much he was willing to sacrifice Isaac,  his son to obey God.

Gen 22:15Gen 22:18  And the angel of the Lord called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the Lord, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

Joseph loved  the Lord so dearly,  he declined immorality and ended up in dungeon and never regret or recount.

Gen 39:7Gen 39:10  And it came to pass after these things, that his master’s wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me. But he refused, and said unto his master’s wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand; There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God? And it came to pass, as she spake to Joseph day by day, that he hearkened not unto her, to lie by her, or to be with her.

The three Hebrews loved the Lord,  they were willing to be consumed by fire of a great furnace.

Dan 3:16Dan 3:21  Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated. And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace. Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

Daniel loved the Lord so much he  willingly  chose to die in the den of lions.

Dan 6:14Dan 6:21 Then the king, when he heard these words, was sore displeased with himself, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him: and he laboured till the going down of the sun to deliver him. Then these men assembled unto the king, and said unto the king, Know, O king, that the law of the Medes and Persians is, That no decree nor statute which the king establisheth may be changed. Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee. And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel. Then the king went to his palace, and passed the night fasting: neither were instruments of musick brought before him: and his sleep went from him. Then the king arose very early in the morning, and went in haste unto the den of lions. And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions? Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever.

Beloved,  pause a little here. Do you too loved the Lord?  Your love for Him , shall be proved.   This is the essence of Christ likeness.  All the saints above did not fail or faltered,  when their love for God were rested.  I pray for you with all my heart,  that you also shall not fail God.
Has  it occurred to you,  that , the present challenge in your life ,  might have been permitted by God to prove your love and loyalty to Him. I pray ,  you shall not fail Him in Jesus name.

Deu 8:2Deu 8:3 And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no. And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live.

Deu 8:15Deu 8:16  Who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint; Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end;

Dearly  beloved, you have no iota of doubt in your life ,  that Jesus loves you in particular,  very dearly.  You also do not have any doubt about how He showed this love to you in particular.  He paid a steep price to secure your pardon and freedom from  damnation.

John 15:13  Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

In  appreciation of this great love,  you too shall be proved whether you love Him.

1 John 4:19  We love him, because he first loved us.

Jesus told Bible days believers and by extension believers of all ages, and  that includes you. Your  love for Him shall be severely tested.

Mat 10:22  And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

Mat 24:9  Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.

Your conduct at this time when you are persecuted for Christ sake,  is the essence of Christ likeness.  Will you forgive your persecutors like Christ forgave you or will you take laws to your hands and retaliate?

1 Peter 2:21  For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

It is  this Christ likeness of believers which is not optional,  but compulsory,  that the blessed Holy Spirit was exhorting believers of all ages for. See it.

This attitude or  nature of believers  is not optional  but compolstory.  This was the way Bible days  believers lived.  Unfortunately,  it is not so with today’s  believers.  How have you been  treating those who deliberately  cheated you or persecuted you because of your faith? Do you fight back?  Retaliated  or perhaps take them to court?

1Co 6:71Co 6:8  Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded? Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren.

Act 7:54Act 7:60  When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth. But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord, And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man’s feet, whose name was Saul. And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

Gen 50:15Gen 50:21  And when Joseph’s brethren saw that their father was dead, they said, Joseph will peradventure hate us, and will certainly requite us all the evil which we did unto him. And they sent a messenger unto Joseph, saying, Thy father did command before he died, saying, So shall ye say unto Joseph, Forgive, I pray thee now, the trespass of thy brethren, and their sin; for they did unto thee evil: and now, we pray thee, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of thy father. And Joseph wept when they spake unto him. And his brethren also went and fell down before his face; and they said, Behold, we be thy servants. And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God? But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. Now therefore fear ye not: I will nourish you, and your little ones. And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto them.

Receive grace to manifest this Christ like nature,  whenever you are persecuted  for Christ”‘s  sake in Jesus name..
Friend, I earnestly pray for you that your desire to be part of the dawning rapture shall not be  truncated  by falling a victim  of satan”s most potent device.

2Co 2:11  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

Friend, multitude of  believers are present in he’ll now,  because they fell a victim of this potent device of saran.   Multitude of believers shall miss the rapture ,  because of the same thing. Forgiving offenders and persecutors is not optional ,  but eternity  defining condition.  See it.

Mat 18:23Mat 18:35 Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants. And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents. But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made. The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt. But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest. And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt. So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done. Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me: Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee? And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him. So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

Mar 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

Mar 11:26  But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

I pray God will give you  grace not to fail the Lord and also to live Christ like  nature in Jesus name.

MORTIFY YOUR FLESH | KnowingJESUS Daily Devotional

Enrich and Sustain your relationship and fellowship with Jesus on a daily basis as you read our daily devotional {www.clcbconline.com}

Today August 24, 2019 in our Daily Devotional, the topic before us is MORTIFY YOUR FLESH.

Col 3:5Col 3:6 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

Beloved, you are a  child of God. By now you should know and be acquainted with  the nature of God ,  which is righteousness and true  holiness.

Ephesians 4:24  And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Psalms 145:17  The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.

God  your loving Father can not tolerate sin from anyone and everyone.  Either Jew or gentile.

Habakkuk 1:13  Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?

He can not associate or walk with sinners. Remember it does not exclude you if you are one.

Amos 3:3  Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

God from time immemorial,  from eternity past to eternity future is always angry with sinners,  who are wicked people in His sight.

Psalms 7:11  God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.

Beloved,  because of this , He poured His wrath upon them.  This shall not be your portion in Jesus  name.  But  if you are still committing sin ,  repent now ,  other wise,  you also will be subject to the same condemnation.

Rom 11:22  Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

See what He did with sinners in the time past.  The same He is still going to do with them now and in the distant future for all eternity.

2 Chronicles 24:18  And they left the house of the Lord God of their fathers, and served groves and idols: and wrath came upon Judah and Jerusalem for this their trespass.

Ezra 5:12  But after that our fathers had provoked the God of heaven unto wrath, he gave them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, the Chaldean, who destroyed this house, and carried the people away into Babylon.

Neh 13:17Neh 13:18  Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, What evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the sabbath day? Did not your fathers thus, and did not our God bring all this evil upon us, and upon this city? yet ye bring more wrath upon Israel by profaning the sabbath.

Psa 78:30Psa 78:31 They were not estranged from their lust. But while their meat was yet in their mouths,  The wrath of God came upon them, and slew the fattest of them, and smote down the chosen men of Israel.

Nahum 1:2  God is jealous, and the Lord revengeth; the Lord revengeth, and is furious; the Lord will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.

Every sins committed by humanity inside or outside of the church will incur the wrath of God. Remember you are not excluded,  if you are committing sin stop it or the wrath of God is coming upon you like any other sinner too.  See it.

Col 3:5Col 3:6 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

Rev 16:1Rev 16:: 4   And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image. And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea. And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.

Beloved,  you  know the good new’s is this. If God could find a devoted intercessor,  who will pray for the conversion of this sinners.  He will spare them. Won’t you then pray for your unsaved spouse, children, parents,  siblings, close and extended family members,  in laws,  neighbours and colleagues in the place of work.
As you pray for them,  they shall be saved and escaped the  looming wrath of God,  coming immediately after the rapture.  This wrath shall not be your own portion in Jesus name.

Ezk 22:29 — Ezk 22:31  The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery, and have vexed the poor and needy: yea, they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully. And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord God.

Dearly beloved, when our Lord was here  during His earthly ministry,  He told His followers then and His  followers of all ages and that includes you,  how they can escaped the wrath of God.  See it.

Jn 3:36  He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

I am persuaded that you have believed and received Him as your Lord and Saviour.  Through this , by the grace of God , you  have  escaped the looming wrath of God that shall begin immediately after the dawning rapture. In fact Jesus our Lord shall play active  part in pouring out this wrath upon the sinning world. Praise God ,  you shall not be there I’m Jesus name .

Rev 19:11Rev 19:16  And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.

It is for people of God like you to avert this looming wrath,  that the blessed  Holy Spirit gave this exhortation through the writings of apostle Paul. See it .

Col 3:5Col 3:6 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

See how other scriptures affirmed the same thing.

Rom 1:18   For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

Rom 2:5   But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

Eph 5:6  Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

Rev 14:10  The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

Dearly beloved by the virtue of your biblical salvation.  You have already escaped this looming wrath.  Praise God.  Hallelujah.  See it.

1Th 5:9  For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

Friend,  you must do everything by the grace of God to be part of this dawning rapture.  This  is because immediately after it,  the looming wrath of God begins

Rev 3:10Rev 3:11  Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

This is the reason why you should take advantage of God’s sufficient grace and safe yourself from everything that can make the wrath of God be your portion.  It shall not be in Jesus name . Through the grace of God,  you could mortify  your flesh.

Col 3:5Col 3:6 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

Tit 2:11Tit 2:14 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Friend,  those who missed the rapture shall be compelled to take the mark of the antichrist or be killed.  Once anyone and everyone  which must exclude  you takes it. They are doomed for indescribable  wrath of God..

Rev 14:9Rev 14:10  And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

Remember, God has  not appointed you in particular for wrath,  because you are already saved.  But engage the grace of God and mortify your flesh.

1Th 5:9  For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

CERTAINTY OF CHRIST`S APPEARANCE | KnowingJESUS Daily Devotional

Enrich and Sustain your relationship and fellowship with Jesus on a daily basis as you read our daily devotional {www.clcbconline.com}

Today August 23, 2019 in our Daily Devotional, we will be looking at CERTAINTY OF CHRIST’S APPEARANCE or the RAPTURE

Beloved,  the word of God is infallible lit will surely come to pass.

Isaiah 34:16  Seek ye out of the book of the Lord, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them

Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

The Bible reveals that a time is coming known unto God alone,  when His saints shall be raptured.

Mat 24:36Mat 24:42 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Beloved,  the imminent  rapture of the dead and living believers is so certain.  This was  because there  were records in the Bible of some that have experienced it.  See those in the time  past  that experienced it.
1.  The living saints.
Enoch:

Gen 5:21Gen 5:24  And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah: And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

Hebrews 11:5  By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

Elijah

2Ki 2:92Ki 2:11  And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me. And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so. And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

2. Dead and resurrected and then raptured.
Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Mark 16:19  So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

Acts 1:9  And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

Beloved ,  please keep on preparing daily. It could even happen before the end of today.  May the Lord help you in particular,  to be wise,  like the five wise virgins in Jesus name.

Dearly beloved,  Jesus Christ our Lord is the truth personified.  He knew  the entire truth, through and through.

John 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

During His earthly ministry,  He told the Bible days believers and by extension,  the believers of all ages and that includes you, that He was coming again to take them in the rapture.

John 14:28  Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

It was this taking believers in the rapture that Jesus promised that the blessed Holy Spirit was impressing upon the believers through the writings of apostle Paul,  that they should be seeking heavenly things which shall culminate with the appearing of the Lord.  See it.

Col 3:1Col 3:4  If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory

The scriptures severally reveal that suddenly,  unannounced,  our Lord shall appear in the air and gathered dead and living believers.

1Th 4:151Th 4:18  For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

See how the Bible reveals the appearing of the Lord over and over.

2 Timothy 4:8  Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

1Pe 5:4  And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

1 John 2:28  And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

1Jo 3:11Jo 3:2   Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is

Dearly  beloved,  since you know that many things that the Bible revealed  would happened in the time past had happened.  This also shall happen  as revealed,  so be prepared. The good Lord shall help you in particular in Jesus  name.
Friend,  but if in deed you are preparing  for this imminent appearing of the Lord,  please be very  careful and avoid negative  promises in the Bible, that it will take multitude unaware.
If you are really expecting the appearing of the Lord,  go extra mile to ensure that everything you needed to do are in place.  Don’t fall a victim of compromising believers, which shall not be fully prepared  even though they claimed to be expecting Him.

Mat 25:1Mat 25:13  Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Friend have you bought the required oil? Have you done your restitutions?
Are you sure your name is still in the book of life?
Are you sure you are completely free from inward and outward sins? I hope you are not doing business like the people in the world,  giving and taking bribes?
Are you living with your rightful spouse?
Hope  you have not divorced and remarried when your lawful husband or wife is still alive?
Hope  you are not committing secret sins?
You shall not miss it in Jesus name. So do everything to be ready like a wise virgin and be purified.

LIVING TRIUMPHANTLYAnd having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. – Colossians 2:15

Beloved,  always remember this.  Don’t ever forget.  Let it be impetus for you in particular to cleave to God,   till Christ cones. Saintliness is very profitable.  As you recount the victory of Moses over Pharaoh.  How they sank in the Red Sea and Israel crossed same  river.
As you recount  how Goliath   came down before David. As you recount the victory of the three Hebrews that the burning furnace of King Nebuchadnezzar  cold not burn. As you remember the Lions became household  pets for Daniel. The lists are inexaustible.  Then you will come to accept the fact that Saintliness  in Bible days or this contemporary  time is very profitable.
Are you  going through any confrontation with the devil on your job or family.  Be rest assured that your God and loving Father  has invincible power and might to subdue on your behalf ,  every foe   see His unfailing promises for all saints and you in particular.
LIVING TRIUMPHANTLY | And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. – Colossians 2:15

Zch 4:6 — Zch 4:7 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts. Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.

Isaiah 54:17  No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

2Ch 32:72Ch 32:8  Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there be more with us than with him: With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the Lord our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.

Joshua 1:9  Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Job 5:12Job 5:13  He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise. He taketh the wise in their own craftiness: and the counsel of the froward is carried headlong.

Proverbs 18:10  The name of the Lord is a strong tower:  the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

Isa 8:9Isa 8:13  Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces. Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought;speak the word, and it shall not stand:for God is with us.For the Lord spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying, Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid. Sanctify the Lord of hosts himself;and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.

Isaiah 10:27  And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

Isa 44:25Isa 44:26  That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish;  That confirmeth the word of his servant  and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:

Isa 49:24Isa 49:25  Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? But thus saith the Lord, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: For I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.

LIVING TRIUMPHANTLY | And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. – Colossians 2:15

Beloved,  never succumb or cow before the devil or his hunan agents.  They are no match at all for you.  Just trust God  and engage them with righteousness,  fasting and prayer  and then victory shall be yours in this present battles in Jesus name.  Remember the people who knows  their unfailing God shall be strong and do exploits.

Heb 11:32Heb 11:34  And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

Dearly beloved, when you gave your life to Christ,  you were  enlisted to follow a captain ,  as a soldier who never lost any battle.

Joshua 5:14  And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?

Hebrews 2:10  For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

2 Timothy 2:3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

LIVING TRIUMPHANTLY | And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. – Colossians 2:15

Jesus  your Lord through His victory on the cross had  made believers of all ages and you in particular,  more than conquerors.

John 19:30  When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost

Heb 2:14Heb 2:15 – Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Romans 8:37  Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

But then remember  to have victory,  you are not  fighting flesh and blood  or human beings.

2 Corinthians 10:3  For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

Ephesians 6:12  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

LIVING TRIUMPHANTLY | And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. – Colossians 2:15

Because of this you do not use human weapons to fight. Things like going to court or exchanging blows can not give you victory.

2Co 10:42Co 10:6  (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

See the weapons you engage in as you fight your battles
Fasting and prayer.

Mark 9:29  And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

Ephesians 6:18  Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

The word of Jesus

Matthew 4:4  But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Ephesians 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

The name of Jesus

Mar 16:17 — Mar 16:18  And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Luke 10:17  And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

Phi 2:9Phi 2:11  Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

The blood  of Jesus

Revelation 12:11  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death

LIVING TRIUMPHANTLY | And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. – Colossians 2:15

The blessed Holy Spirit  through the writings of apostle Paul was reminding believers of all ages,  especially you,  never ever to cow or succumb or fear the devil who might confront them in their pilgrimage to heaven.  That  through the  triumph of  Jesus on the cross, satan  and his cohorts and human agents have been  permanently defeated. See it.

Colossians 2:15  And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

See how other scriptures affirmed same

1 Corinthians 15:57  But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 2:14  Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

Hebrews 2:14  Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

Revelation 12:11  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death

Dearly beloved you have been made more than conquerors.  Believe it,  embrace it.
Appropriate it and apply it to engage the devil anytime,  he confronts  you in the battles of life.
But then make sure you are biblically  born again or compromising secretly. Anyone and everyone that does that shall not only be defeated but wounded or even loose  life.  This shall not be your portion in Jesus name.

Act 19:13Act 19:16  Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

Friend , it is great to set your mind to mind tirelessly  to prepare for the dawning rapture.
The good Lord shall help you in particular and this event shall not elude you in Jesus  name. Bit then know that this noble decision  shall  bring you into unexplainable  confrontation with the devil.  This is because you want to go to heaven ,  where he was driven out.
LIVING TRIUMPHANTLY | And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. – Colossians 2:15

Revelation 12:9  And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

So he will engage you in fierce battles.

Revelation 2:10  Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

Friend , you need not tremble and drop the desire to be part of the rapture.  Know assuredly that himself and his cohorts and human agents are defeated foe’s.  Jesus through Calvary had defeated them completely and permanently. They know it but they shall still try to fight you.

Colossians 2:15  And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

So engage the weapons of warfare our Lord  provided. Realise two things will make these weapons avail for you.
1. Biblical and sustained salvation. Satan knows believers that are genuinely saved and are keeping the faith.

Acts 19:15  And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?

2. Wholehearted and consistent  obedience.

LIVING TRIUMPHANTLY | And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. – Colossians 2:15

But once these two things are in place,  you are more than conquerors  till Christ cones and you shall always triumph, though Jesus”s vicyory on the cross in Jesus name.

John 16:33  These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Corinthians 15:57  But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 2:14  Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
