OBEYING THE CAPTAIN OF THE HOST OF THE LORD FOR TRIUMPH | And the captain of the Lord’s host said, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; – Joshua 5:13-15

And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant? And the captain of the Lord’s host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so. – Joshua 5:13-15

Beloved no doubt you are persuaded that the entirety of scriptures from the book of Genesis to Revelation are the testimonies of our Lord Jesus Christ.

John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

Luke 24:27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

Luke 24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

Jn 5:45 — Jn 5:47 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

OBEYING THE CAPTAIN OF THE HOST OF THE LORD FOR TRIUMPH | And the captain of the Lord’s host said, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; – Joshua 5:13-15

As you come to the book of Joshua, Jesus our Lord is revealed as THE CAPTAIN OF THE HOST OF THE LORD. See it.

Jos 5:13 — Jos 5:15 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant? And the captain of the Lord’s host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.

Many because of their lack of knowledge had failed to identify this glorious personality.

Their thinking was that an angel had visited Joshua.

What you are going to discover about the angels of the Lord is that they don’t allow anyone to worship them.

Revelation 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Rev 22:8 — Rev 22:9 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

OBEYING THE CAPTAIN OF THE HOST OF THE LORD FOR TRIUMPH | And the captain of the Lord’s host said, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; – Joshua 5:13-15

This glorious visitor accepted the worship of Joshua.

Joshua 5:14 And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?

So how do you know, the captain of the host of the Lord was Jesus? See what the Bible says in the new testament.

Heb 2:9 — Heb 2:10 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

In the old testament, He was revealed as the captain of the host of the Lord. In the new testament He was revealed as the captain of our salvation.

But then our Lord in His capacity as our captain, opens the door of earthly and eternal glory for believers of all ages and you in particular. See it yourself.

Heb 2:9 — Heb 2:10 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings

His vicarious sacrifice on the cross for believers , especially you, was to open the door of undeniable earthly and eternal glorious heritage.

OBEYING THE CAPTAIN OF THE HOST OF THE LORD FOR TRIUMPH | And the captain of the Lord’s host said, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; – Joshua 5:13-15

Remember, you are created and called to glory according to the Bible.

1. Created for glory.

Isaiah 43:7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

2. Called to glory.

1Th 2:12 That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.

2 Peter 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

Col 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

OBEYING THE CAPTAIN OF THE HOST OF THE LORD FOR TRIUMPH | And the captain of the Lord’s host said, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; – Joshua 5:13-15

Beloved, it is very important for you to know, that wholehearted obedience to Christ is the pathway to access and sustain this glorious earthly and eternal heritage.

Hebrews 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

This was exactly what Joshua did, before our Lord, the captain of the host of the Lord, revealed to Him, what Israel must do for the wall of Jericho to come down. See it.

Jos 5:14 — Jos 5:15 And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant? And the captain of the Lord’s host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.

Joshua was told to loose his shoe and without questioning , he did so and received desired directives from the Lord.

The reasons why multitude of believers have missed the best of God is because they failed to obey what they think is inconsequential commandment of God. See these and learn lifetime lessons.

1. Adam.

Genesis 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

You knew what happened to Adam. The whole world is still suffering from it till date.

OBEYING THE CAPTAIN OF THE HOST OF THE LORD FOR TRIUMPH | And the captain of the Lord’s host said, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; – Joshua 5:13-15

2. King Saul was told to wait for Samuel for seven days.

He waited but because Samuel did not come in time on the seventh day, he offered sacrifice, which was the exclusive reserve of priests.

1 Samuel 13:8 And he tarried seven days, according to the set time that Samuel had appointed: but Samuel came not to Gilgal; and the people were scattered from him.

1 Samuel 13:10 And it came to pass, that as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, behold, Samuel came; and Saul went out to meet him, that he might salute him.

Because of the impatience of few hours, he lost the kingdom.

1Sa 13:13 — 1Sa 13:14 And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of the Lord thy God, which he commanded thee: for now would the Lord have established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever. But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the Lord hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the Lord hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the Lord commanded thee.

3. Peter on the other hand turned his business failure to exceeding success, obeying inconsequential commandment like Joshua.

Luk 5:4 — Luk 5:6 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.

OBEYING THE CAPTAIN OF THE HOST OF THE LORD FOR TRIUMPH | And the captain of the Lord’s host said, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; – Joshua 5:13-15

Beloved please check up sincerely, it might be your outright disobedience to what you call inconsequential commandment, is responsible for the present challenges in your life.

SS 2:15 Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines:for our vines have tender grapes.

2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is i£n you, except ye be reprobates?

May the good Lord help you to be wise unto salvation in Jesus mighty name.

Jesus’s vicarious sacrifice is the open door for believers and you to access eternal glory, which is your heritage through implicit obedience.

OBEYING THE CAPTAIN OF THE HOST OF THE LORD FOR TRIUMPH | And the captain of the Lord’s host said, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; – Joshua 5:13-15

See His expectations from you to access eternal glory.

Col 3:1 — Col 3:4 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Jud 1:21 — Jud 1:24 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

Beloved, because earthly and eternal glory are your undeniable heritage, that the vicarious sacrifice of Christ, provided for you. Then be resolute to render prompt and wholehearted obedience to Him in all things till He comes.

By doing this joyfully without being coerced.

No force of hell would be able to stop you from enjoying your glorious heritage in Jesus name.

Jeremiah 7:23 But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | April 29, 2020 | O that they were wise, they would consider their latter end – Deuteronomy 32:29

O that they were wise, that [ you ] they understood this, that they would consider [ your ] their latter end - Deuteronomy 32:29
O that they were wise, that [ you ] they understood this, that they would consider [ your ] their latter end - Deuteronomy 32:29

O that they were wise, that [ you ] they understood this, that they would consider [ your ] their latter end – Deuteronomy 32:29

O that they were wise, that [ you ] they understood this, that they would consider [ your ] their latter end – Deuteronomy 32:29

Beloved, it is amazing that you belong to the group of the  wise people.

Pro 9:12  If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself:but if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it

I thank God for you, that in deed you are a wise person.
The benefits of being a wise person  shall  avail for you on this side of heaven in Jesus name.
But then don’t ever forget that it  goes beyond here, it reaches far far  to eternity.

Pro 3:35  The wise shall inherit glory:but shame shall be the promotion of fools.

Because you are wise, you must heed the counsel for the wise.  See them.
1.  You must continually live with the consciousness of where you want to spend eternity.
Deuteronomy 32:29  O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!

Proverbs 19:20  Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.

2. You must live by the sayings of Jesus Christ our Lord, that makes you biblically wise.

Mat 7:24 — Mat 7:27  Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

3. You must do the works of wise virgins, to help you in particular to be part of the dawning rapture.

Mat 25:1 — Mat 25:13  Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

O that they were wise, that [ you ] they understood this, that they would consider [ your ] their latter end – Deuteronomy 32:29

Because of all  these , all your decisions and endeavors must always be done from the perspective of your eternal well-being, till Christ comes.

This becomes necessary because there are two eternal ends.

Matthew 25:46  And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Your own eternal end shall not be in everlasting torment, like this rich man.

Luk 16:19 — Luk 16:25  There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

Because  you are determined to avoid this eternal misfortune, make sure you are presently walking on the narrow road that leads to life etenal.

Mat 7:13 — Mat 7:14  Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

O that they were wise, that [ you ] they understood this, that they would consider [ your ] their latter end – Deuteronomy 32:29

In addition endeavor to be living a lifestyle that shall help you to be part of the dawning rapture and you shall not be left behind.

Luk 17:34 — Luk 17:36  I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

God’s grace shall avail for you in particular in Jesus name.

2 Corinthians 9:8  And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

O that they were wise, that [ you ] they understood this, that they would consider [ your ] their latter end – Deuteronomy 32:29

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | April 28, 2020 | And the Lord thy God will circumcise your heart – Deuteronomy 30:6

And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, to love Him with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live. - Deuteronomy 30:6.
And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, to love Him with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live. - Deuteronomy 30:6.

And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, to love Him with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live. – Deuteronomy 30:6.

And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live. – Deuteronomy 30:6.

Beloved it is no secret, God your loving Father in heaven, has numerous incredible earthly and eternal blessings for His saints.

Praise God you are one of them. These blessings shall not elude you in particular in Jesus name.

However, these blessings on this side of heaven and at the other side for all eternity are accessible to only the saints that love Him wholeheartedly. See this.

1 Corinthians 2:9. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Beloved, see those things that shall be yours, as you reach out to love your Father in heaven with all your heart.

1 Earthly.

Material and financial prosperity. Good health and desired spiritual growth.

3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

All round blessings with longevity of life.

Exodus 23:25-26 And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.

Self actualization

Job 36:11 If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.

Spiritual gifts.

Psalms 36:8 They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.

2. Eternal.

Incorruptible inheritance.

1 Peter 1:4. To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

City of God.

Heb 11:14 — Heb 11:16. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

Mansions for saints and you in particular.

John 14:1 – 3 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

See all of these are for believers who love God with all their hearts.

Because of the passion of God to ensure these blessings do not elude believers, He made definite commitment to help and empower them to love Him. See what He resolved to do for them and you in particular.

Deuteronomy 30:6. And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

This becomes absolutely necessary because, uncircumcised heart would make humanity and God to walk contrary to each other.

Leviticus 26:41. And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:

No wonder either in the old or new testaments, God calls believers and you in particular to experience heart circumcision.

Deuteronomy 10:16. Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked.

Jeremiah 4:4. Circumcise yourselves to the Lord, and take away the foreskins of your heart, ye men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: lest my fury come forth like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.

Rom 2:28 — Rom 2:29. For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Colossians 2:11. In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:

Beloved, it is in your own interest to reach out to God through prayers to circumcise your heart, to enable you access and enjoy earthly and eternal blessings, God promised those who love Him.

Deuteronomy 30:6. And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

1 Corinthians 2:9. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Beloved, to make the experience easier to attain by sincere believers like you, the Bible referred to this same circumcision of heart by different other names.

See them:

1. Removal of adamic nature.

Ezekiel 36:26. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

2. Purity of heart.

Matthew 5:8. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see.

3. Biblical perfection.

Matthew 5:48. Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father is in heaven is perfect.

4. Sanctified lifestyle.

Eph 5:25 — Eph 5:27. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

5.

Holiness of life.

Hebrews 12:14. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

This biblical experience can be attained through four different ways.

1. The precious blood of Jesus.

Hebrews 13:12. Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

2. Through the Word of God.

John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

3. Through the blessed Holy Spirit.

Romans 15:16 That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.

4. The heart circumcision through God the Father.

Deuteronomy 30:6. And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

Reach out now and take advantage of any of these to experience sanctified life or circumcision of heart, through which you access the promised earthly and eternal blessings of God for believers and you in particular.

It shall be so in Jesus name.

And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, to love Him with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live. – Deuteronomy 30:6.

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | April 27, 2020 | THE SECRETS OF GOD BELONGS TO HIS CHILDREN – Deuteronomy 29:29

The secret things belong to God: but those things which are revealed belong unto his children, so we may the words of this law - Deuteronomy 29:29
The secret things belong to God: but those things which are revealed belong unto his children, so we may the words of this law - Deuteronomy 29:29

The secret things belong to God: but those things which are revealed belong unto his children, so we may the words of this law – Deuteronomy 29:29

The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law – Deuteronomy 29:29.

Beloved, it is an established fact that God is the revealer of secrets.

Daniel 2:22: He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.

But then His secrets are only revealed to some few selected saints who are walking with Him in absolute obedience.

Psalms 25:14: The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.

Proverbs 3:32: For the froward is abomination to the LORD: but his secret is with the righteous.

Amos 3:7: Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets

The secret things belong to God: but those things which are revealed belong unto his children, so we may the words of this law – Deuteronomy 29:29

One of such saints was Daniel, that God revealed the dream of king Nebuchadnezzar to.

Daniel 2:18-19 That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. ¶Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.

There are things that were mysteries unknown in the time past, but are made known now by God, through the blessed Holy Spirit.

Deuteronomy 29:29. The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

Romans 16:26: But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

The secret things belong to God: but those things which are revealed belong unto his children, so we may the words of this law – Deuteronomy 29:29

Beloved, God in His infinite mercies have revealed the entirety of truth that shall help His saints to be aware of the dawning rapture.

John 14:1-3. Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

1 Corinthians 15:51-52. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

1 Thessalonians 4:15-17. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

The secret things belong to God: but those things which are revealed belong unto his children, so we may the words of this law – Deuteronomy 29:29

In addition, He also revealed the events of the last days that they must avoid, to help them to be fully prepared for the dawning rapture. These events of the last days are called, Perilous times.

1. Men become lovers of themselves and pleasures and put God behind.

2 Timothy 3:1-5. This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

2. They shall have itching ears and reject the truth of the scriptures.

2 Timothy 4:1-4. I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

3. They shall depart from the faith, meaning rejecting the truth of the Bible, but believing false teachings.

1 Timothy 4:1-2. Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

The secret things belong to God: but those things which are revealed belong unto his children, so we may the words of this law – Deuteronomy 29:29

4. They shall love the world and despise biblical morality and righteousness.

1 John 2:15-17. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

5. Antichrist will begin to perpetrate false doctrines.

1 John 4:1- 4 . Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

6. Multitudes of those who profess religion shall perish because they turned their back to the truth and God shall allow them to receive delusion and be damned.

2 Thessalonians 2:10-12. And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

7. Many scoffers shall rise and despise the reality of endtime events and the dawning rapture.

2 Peter 3:1-4. This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

The secret things belong to God: but those things which are revealed belong unto his children, so we may the words of this law – Deuteronomy 29:29

8,. Many false prophets and motivational speakers shall arise and be merchandising nominal churchgoers.

2 Peter 2:1-3. But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not

9. It will take living by the entirety of the scriptures to partake in the dawning rapture and escape great tribulation.

.Revelation 3:10-11. Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

10. Believers that shall be part of the dawning rapture shall endure persecution to the end in faithfulness.

Revelation 2:10. Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

11. Believers shall need to be watchful like the wise virgins to be ready for the dawning rapture.

Luke 21:26-36. Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

The secret things belong to God: but those things which are revealed belong unto his children, so we may the words of this law – Deuteronomy 29:29

12. The certainty of the rapture is made manifest. One shall be taking and the other left.

Matthew 24:21-42. For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

The secret things belong to God: but those things which are revealed belong unto his children, so we may the words of this law – Deuteronomy 29:29

Beloved, because you are a wise person, please take advantage of the secrets God has revealed to help you to be fully prepared for the dawning rapture. It shall not elude you in particular in Jesus name.

Deuteronomy 32:29 O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional  | Thou shalt be perfect, blameless, complete with and before the Lord thy God – Deuteronomy 18:13

Beloved, from time immemorial, God your loving Father in heaven, is always on the lookout for those that walked with Him in perfection.

2Ch 16:9  For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

So therefore, make determined unchanging efforts to walk with Him in perfection.

1Ch 28:9  And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the Lord searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.

Believers of all ages and you in particular must endeavor to be perfect before  God ..

This  becomes exceedingly  necessary because of two  major reasons.

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional  | Thou shalt be perfect, blameless, complete with and before the Lord thy God – Deuteronomy 18:13

1. Blessings of perfection

Psalms 37:37  Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright:
for the end of that man is peace.

Consequences of im-perfection

Rev 3:2  Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God

1 Kings 11:4  For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the Lord his God, as was the heart of David his father.

1 Kings 11:9  And the Lord was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the Lord God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice,

1 Kings 11:11  Wherefore the Lord said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional  | Thou shalt be perfect, blameless, complete with and before the Lord thy God – Deuteronomy 18:13

It is for these reasons that God  is making  unchanging  clarion call for believers of all ages and you in particular to be perfect. See some of these calls.

Deuteronomy 18:13  Thou shalt be perfect with the Lord thy God.

Genesis 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

Matthew 5:48  Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Rom 12:2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

2Co 13:11  Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional  | Thou shalt be perfect, blameless, complete with and before the Lord thy God – Deuteronomy 18:13

No marvel, ordained minister of God, are expected to ensure their efforts are geared towards believers perfection.

Col 1:28  Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

The  scriptures  reveals records of saints in Bible days, who walked with God in perfection and what they did.

These are the  same expectations of God from you too.  It has to do with  biblical morality and saintliness.

See some of them.

1. Noah : walked with God.

Genesis 6:9  These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

2. Job the patriarch: hated evil.

Job 1:8  And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

Job 2:3  And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause

3. King Hezekiah: doing good things before God.

2Ki 20:3 I  beseech thee, O Lord, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.

4. Jesus Christ our Lord: : obedience to God.

Heb 5:8 — Heb 5:9  Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

5. Saints at Macedonia.:sustaining the faith.

Phi 3:15 — Phi 3:16  Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional  | Thou shalt be perfect, blameless, complete with and before the Lord thy God – Deuteronomy 18:13

Interestingly, God did not just called believers to perfection, He also made provision to help them to be perfect.  Beloved, please take advantage of His provisions.

1Pe 5:10  But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

See His unfailing provisions.

1. Word of God.

2Ti 3:16 — 2Ti 3:17  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

2. Ordained  Ministers  by  God

Eph 4:11 — Eph 4:14  And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

3. Precious blood of Jesus..

Heb 13:20 — Heb 13:21  Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional  | Thou shalt be perfect, blameless, complete with and before the Lord thy God – Deuteronomy 18:13

Beloved, see the efforts of Bible days saints taken advantage of the provisions of God to be perfect, by praying.  See some of them.

1. King David prayed for Solomon his son.

1Ch 29:19  And give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for the which I have made provision.

2. Jesus prayed for His believers of all ages and you.

Jn 17:23  I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

3. Epaphras  prayed for believers at Colosse.

Col 4:12  Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

4. Paul apostle prayed for saints.

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional  | Thou shalt be perfect, blameless, complete with and before the Lord thy God – Deuteronomy 18:13

1Th 3:10  Night and day praying exceedingly that we might see your face, and might perfect that which is lacking in your faith?

Beloved the benefits associated with perfection are innumerable..

They are for this life and the one to come.

Please heed the call to be perfect and be blessed. You shall surely be blessed in Jesus name.

Psalms 37:37  Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright:
for the end of that man is peace.

Matthew 5:48  Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | April 25, 2020 – JESUS – THE PROPHET WE MUST HEARKEN TO – Deuteronomy 18:15

God will raise up a Prophet [ JESUS CHRIST ] of thy brethren, like unto me [ MOSES ]; unto him ye shall hearken [ HEAR YE HIM ] - Deuteronomy 18:15
God will raise up a Prophet [ JESUS CHRIST ] of thy brethren, like unto me [ MOSES ]; unto him ye shall hearken [ HEAR YE HIM ] - Deuteronomy 18:15

God will raise up a Prophet [ JESUS CHRIST ] of thy brethren, like unto me [ MOSES ]; unto him ye shall hearken [ HEAR YE HIM ] – Deuteronomy 18:15

The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet [ JESUS CHRIST ] from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me [ MOSES ]; unto him ye shall hearken [ HEAR YE HIM ] – Deuteronomy 18:15

Deu 18:18 — Deu 18:19 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

Beloved the Bible from the books of Genesis to Revealetions, reveals the person and the ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ.

He Himself during His earthly ministry challenged the unbeliving Jews to search the scriptures and they shall discover Him.

John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

The book of Deuteronomy in particular reveals that Jesus Christ, our Lord was the Prophet like unto Moses.. The Prophet with the capital P, that distinguished Him from every other prophets. See it.

Deuteronomy 18:15 The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;

God will raise up a Prophet [ JESUS CHRIST ] of thy brethren, like unto me [ MOSES ]; unto him ye shall hearken [ HEAR YE HIM ] – Deuteronomy 18:15

However, this revealatiom also gave an addendum that, our Lord’s coming was to reveal the mind of Jehovah.

His words would supercede and be the finality of the mind of God.

All humanity are under compulsion to harken to the entirety of His words or face the eternal consequences of doing otherwise.

This is affirmed severally in the scriptures. See some of them.

Act 3:20 — Act 3:23 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

Acts 7:37 This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.

Mat 17:1 — Mat 17:5 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

Hebrews 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

Heb 2:1 — Heb 2:3 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

God will raise up a Prophet [ JESUS CHRIST ] of thy brethren, like unto me [ MOSES ]; unto him ye shall hearken [ HEAR YE HIM ] – Deuteronomy 18:15

Believers and you in particular are enjoined to hear and do all His words to be wise.

Beloved see some of the words of our Lord with eternal consequences for anyone and everyone, who failed to Harlem.

I am persuaded that you are a very wise person and according to the scriptures, you are going to harken to His words and be blessed here and hereafter. It shall be so in Jesus name.

Exodus 24:7 And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the Lord hath said will we do, and be obedient.

God will raise up a Prophet [ JESUS CHRIST ] of thy brethren, like unto me [ MOSES ]; unto him ye shall hearken [ HEAR YE HIM ] – Deuteronomy 18:15

1. The necessity of the new birth.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Jn 3:5 — Jn 3:7 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

2. The importance of purity of heart and sanctification of believers to access Heaven.

Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

3. Repentance and empowerment with the Holy Spirit.

Luk 24:46 — Luk 24:50 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things. And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.

4. The narrow and the broad road.

5. The certainity of the two eternal ends.

Matthew 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

God will raise up a Prophet [ JESUS CHRIST ] of thy brethren, like unto me [ MOSES ]; unto him ye shall hearken [ HEAR YE HIM ] – Deuteronomy 18:15

6. Believers and you in particular, should fear God and avoid hell.

Luke 12:5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

7. The reality of hell and your personal responsibility to avoid it.

Mar 9:43 — Mar 9:48 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

8. Heaven the eternal home of the righteous and you in particular.

Matthew 13:43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

9. Believers and you in particular, should live in readiness for the dawning rapture.

Jn 14:1 — Jn 14:3 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

10. Believers and you in particular, must engage in seeking and saving the lost, till He comes. Believers should preach the gospel for sinners to be saved.

Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

Luk 19:12 — Luk 19:13 He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.

God will raise up a Prophet [ JESUS CHRIST ] of thy brethren, like unto me [ MOSES ]; unto him ye shall hearken [ HEAR YE HIM ] – Deuteronomy 18:15

11. Believers and you in particular, are different from the world.

Jn 17:14 — Jn 17:16. I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

12. Believers and you in particular, must live a lifestyle of fervent prayers.

Luke 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

13. Monogamy in marriage compulstory not optional.

Mat 19:3 — Mat 19:9 The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause? And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away? He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so. And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

14. Ministers and you in particular, should teach His entire words.

Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

15. Heaven and earth shall pass away but His words shall not pass away.

Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

God will raise up a Prophet [ JESUS CHRIST ] of thy brethren, like unto me [ MOSES ]; unto him ye shall hearken [ HEAR YE HIM ] – Deuteronomy 18:15

Beloved , because of the fact that the words of our Lord shall not pass away, believers and you in particular are warned about the eternal consequences of not harkening or obeying the entirety of the words of Jesus..

Jn 12:46 — Jn 12:48 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day

2Th 1:7 — 2Th 1:9 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

Heb 10:26 — Heb 10:31 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God

God will raise up a Prophet [ JESUS CHRIST ] of thy brethren, like unto me [ MOSES ]; unto him ye shall hearken [ HEAR YE HIM ] – Deuteronomy 18:15

However, for faithful believers and you, who are passionate about living eternally with Jesus in heaven, you are enjoined to obey the totality of the words of Jesus.

Hebrews 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him

Hebrews 12:25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:

Rev 3:10 — Rev 3:11 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Receive grace to be doer of His words and live eternally with Him in Jesus name.

God will raise up a Prophet [ JESUS CHRIST ] of thy brethren, like unto me [ MOSES ]; unto him ye shall hearken [ HEAR YE HIM ] – Deuteronomy 18:15

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | April 24, 2020 – GYe shall not add unto the word which I command you – Deuteronomy 4:2

Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord - Deuteronomy 4:2
Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord - Deuteronomy 4:2

Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord – Deuteronomy 4:2

Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you. – Deuteronomy 4:2

Beloved, it is amazing that believers are placed in the same category of our Lord Jesus Christ, by our loving Father in heaven.

Jesus our Lord and savior was His beloved Son.

Matthew 3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Mat 17:5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

Like our Lord , God has brought all believers of all ages and you to Himself and called them sons.

Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord – Deuteronomy 4:2

Glory to God, you are also a son in the family.

1Jo 3:1 — 1Jo 3:2. Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

As His sons, He has passion to dwell with you for all eternity. It shall be so in Jesus name.

Rev 21:3 — Rev 21:4 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

He Has prepared , befitting city for you. It shall not elude you in particular in Jesus name.

Heb 11:13 — Heb 11:16 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord – Deuteronomy 4:2

In addition to this, He has incorruptible inheritances awaiting you.

1Pe 1:3 — 1Pe 1:4 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

Beloved, it is because of all these that made Him to give believers of all ages and you in particular, unchanging commandments concerning His words in the Bible.

Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord – Deuteronomy 4:2

In both old and new testaments, He commanded that you should not remove or add anything to His words in the Bible. See it yourself.

Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.

Deuteronomy 12:32 What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

Pro 30:5 — Pro 30:6 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

Rev 22:18 — Rev 22:19 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord – Deuteronomy 4:2

Jesus Christ our Lord and savior commanded that the entire words in the Bible must be believed and preached to guarantee a secured eternity.

Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

1 Timothy 4:16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord – Deuteronomy 4:2

He went further to say any word in the Bible not believed and preached will damn whoever is guilty of such.

Jn 12:46 — Jn 12:48 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

Very very unfortunate, today’s professors of religion globally are guilty of adding and subtracting from God’s words in the Bible.

No marvel the blessed Holy Spirit revealed that such a person is cursed.

Gal 1:6 — Gal 1:9 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord – Deuteronomy 4:2

Beloved, see all that are awaiting you in particular in heaven. You shall receive them all in Jesus name.

But then you must heed the commandment not to remove or add to His words in the Bible.

Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.

Receive grace to obey the commandment of the Lord in Jesus name.

Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord – Deuteronomy 4:2

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | April 23, 2020 – GOD IS NOT A MAN THAT HE SHOULD LIE – Numbers 23:19 [Part 2]

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?  - Numbers 23:19-20
God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?  - Numbers 23:19-20

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?  – Numbers 23:19-20

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it. – Numbers 23:19-20

Beloved your loving Father in heaven is reputed to be faithful and dependable.

See the testimonies of scriptures about Him.

Numbers 23:19-20 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it.

Deu 7:9 Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

1Co 1:9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

The Bible in both old and new testaments reveals many saints that experienced His unfailing faithfulness. See some of them.

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? – Numbers 23:19-20

Testimony of Joshua.

Jos 21:43 — Jos 21:44 And the Lord gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein. And the Lord gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the Lord delivered all their enemies into their hand.

Joshua 23:14 And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof.

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? – Numbers 23:19-20

Testimony of King Solomon.

1Ki 8:56 Blessed be the Lord, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant.

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? – Numbers 23:19-20

The experience of Sarah

Hebrews 11:11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.

Gen 21:1 — Gen 21:2 And the Lord visited Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did unto Sarah as he had spoken. For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.

Gen 21:6 — Gen 21:7 And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me. And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age.

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? – Numbers 23:19-20

The experience of Peter

Act 12:5 — Act 12:11Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison. And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands. And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me. And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision. When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him. And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? – Numbers 23:19-20

The experience of Paul

Act 27:18 — Act 27:25 And we being exceedingly tossed with a tempest, the next day they lightened the ship; And the third day we cast out with our own hands the tackling of the ship. And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope that we should be saved was then taken away. But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss. And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man’s life among you, but of the ship. For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee. Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.

Acts 27:44 And the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? – Numbers 23:19-20

The experience of the children of Israel.

Exo 15:9 — Exo 15:13 The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them. Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters. Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? Thou stretchedst out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them. Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou hast redeemed: thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy holy habitation.

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? – Numbers 23:19-20

The experience of the triumphant saints in glory.

Rev 7:9 — Rev 7:17 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

Beloved, because you too shall experience His unfailing faithfulness, now and at eternity, see what you must be doing till Christ comes.

1. Become a sheep to Jesus and receive His eternal life.

Jn 10:27 — Jn 10:28 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

2. Be sanctifiied and live blameless lifestyle, by His grace

1Th 5:23 — 1Th 5:24 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

3. Have unwavering confidence in Him and trust Him alone to turn your challenges to testimonies.

Mark 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Luke 21:13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.

4. Endure satanic conflicts patiently till the end.

Revelation 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

Matthew 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

His grace shall be sufficient for you in particular in Jesus name.

2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? – Numbers 23:19-20

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | April 22, 2020 – GOD IS NOT A MAN THAT HE SHOULD LIE – Numbers 23:19

Numbers 23:19 - God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Beloved, our loving Father in heaven is faithful and dependable.

This is because truthfulness is one of His most outstanding attribute, that you should cultivate. See it.

Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

1 Samuel 15:29 And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent: for he is not a man, that he should repent.

Psalms 89:35 Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David.

Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

Hebrews 6:18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Numbers 23:19 – God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Beloved, your Father in heaven is extremely truthful. Please be like Him.

Isaiah 63:8 For he said, Surely they are my people, children that will not lie: so he was their Saviour.

Interestingly, your loving Father in heaven desire truthfulness from His people and abhor lying,.

Because of this, He gave them clear instructions to obey. See some of them.

Pro 6:16 — Pro 6:17 These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

Eph 4:25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

Col 3:9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

Pro 14:5 A faithful witness will not lie:but a false witness will utter lies.

Proverbs 19:5 A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape.

Psa 58:3 The wicked are estranged from the womb:they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.

Numbers 23:19 – God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

It is very very unfortunate that in spite of these clear instructions from out loving Father in heaven, deception, lack of integrity and shameful lying are the things that characterise people inside and outside of the church today.

Today, among the so called ministers of God and professors of religion globally, inside the church and the worldlings outside the church, truthfulness, integrity forthrightness have become attributes of the past.

See what characterised the lifestyle of nominal churchgoers globally and the worldlings outside the church.

Isa 59:14 — Isa 59:15 And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the Lord saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment.

Isaiah 48:1. Hear ye this, O house of Jacob, which are called by the name of Israel, and are come forth out of the waters of Judah,
which swear by the name of the Lord, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness.

Psalms 5:9 For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.

Jeremiah 7:28 But thou shalt say unto them, This is a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the Lord their God, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.

Hos 4:1 — Hos 4:2 Hear the word of the Lord, ye children of Israel: for the Lord hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land. By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood.

Nahum 3:1 Woe to the bloody city! it is all full of lies and robbery; the prey departeth not;

Numbers 23:19 – God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

See what characterised the lifestyle of merchandise motivational speakers.

Jer 23:25 — Jer 23:27 I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed. How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart; Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.

Jeremiah 5:31 The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?

Ezekiel 13:6 They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The Lord saith: and the Lord hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word.

1Ti 4:1 — 1Ti 4:2 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

Numbers 23:19 – God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Beloved, it is very very necessary for you to check up, whether you are caught up in this shameful web.

Kindly examine yourself now.

2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

The reason for this self examination is because, this shameful lifestyle, makes whoever is doing it, unlike God, but resemble Satan.

Jn 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Numbers 23:19 – God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

In addition, the Bible says believers of all ages and you in particular, should desist from little foxes and besetting sins.

SS 2:15 Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines:for our vines have tender grapes.

Hebrews 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Numbers 23:19 – God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Beloved failure on the part of the person, not free completely from these little foxes and besetting sins automatically damn the precious undying soul of the person.

Your own soul shall not be damned. So be sure you are free from this shameful unChristlike attitude. See it yourself.

Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Psa 101:6 — Psa 101:7 Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me:
he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me. He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.

Revelation 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Numbers 23:19 – God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Beloved the Bible revealed some people in Bible days, both in the old and new testaments, that lost their lives and damned their souls for lying.

This shall not be your portion. But learn from their misfortunes.

1. The Amalikite seeking for cheap glory who lied to David, that he killed King Saul.

2Sa 1:1 — 2Sa 1:10 Now it came to pass after the death of Saul, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Amalekites, and David had abode two days in Ziklag; It came even to pass on the third day, that, behold, a man came out of the camp from Saul with his clothes rent, and earth upon his head: and so it was, when he came to David, that he fell to the earth, and did obeisance. And David said unto him, From whence comest thou? And he said unto him, Out of the camp of Israel am I escaped. And David said unto him, How went the matter? I pray thee, tell me. And he answered, That the people are fled from the battle, and many of the people also are fallen and dead; and Saul and Jonathan his son are dead also. And David said unto the young man that told him, How knowest thou that Saul and Jonathan his son be dead? And the young man that told him said, As I happened by chance upon mount Gilboa, behold, Saul leaned upon his spear; and, lo, the chariots and horsemen followed hard after him. And when he looked behind him, he saw me, and called unto me. And I answered, Here am I. And he said unto me, Who art thou? And I answered him, I am an Amalekite. He said unto me again, Stand, I pray thee, upon me, and slay me: for anguish is come upon me, because my life is yet whole in me. So I stood upon him, and slew him, because I was sure that he could not live after that he was fallen: and I took the crown that was upon his head, and the bracelet that was on his arm, and have brought them hither unto my lord.

2Sa 1:13 — 2Sa 1:16 And David said unto the young man that told him, Whence art thou? And he answered, I am the son of a stranger, an Amalekite. And David said unto him, How wast thou not afraid to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the Lord’s anointed? And David called one of the young men, and said, Go near, and fall upon him. And he smote him that he died. And David said unto him, Thy blood be upon thy head; for thy mouth hath testified against thee, saying, I have slain the Lord’s anointed.

Numbers 23:19 – God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

2. Ananias, and Sapphira who lied to apostle Peter.

Act 5:1 — Act 5:10 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles’ feet. But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whilst it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things. And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him. And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in. And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much. Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out. Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.

Numbers 23:19 – God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Beloved, if you discover after you have sincerely examine yourself that you are guilty. There are two things you need to do.

1. Confess and forsake these sins.

Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

2. Do immediately, necessary restitutions. This is because, if you don’t, readiness for the dawning rapture or living with God in heaven shall be an illusion.

Lev 6:2 — Lev 6:6 If a soul sin, and commit a trespass against the Lord, and lie unto his neighbour in that which was delivered him to keep, or in fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence, or hath deceived his neighbour; Or have found that which was lost, and lieth concerning it, and sweareth falsely; in any of all these that a man doeth, sinning therein: Then it shall be, because he hath sinned, and is guilty, that he shall restore that which he took violently away, or the thing which he hath deceitfully gotten, or that which was delivered him to keep, or the lost thing which he found, Or all that about which he hath sworn falsely; he shall even restore it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part more thereto, and give it unto him to whom it appertaineth, in the day of his trespass offering. And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the Lord, a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy estimation, for a trespass offering, unto the priest:

Numbers 23:19 – God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

May the Lord help you to be wise unto salvation in Jesus name.

For from the top of the rocks I see him, and from the hills I behold him: lo, the people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations. – Numbers 23:9

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | April 21, 2020 – YOU ARE FAVORED TO LIVE ETERNALLY WITH CHRIST | For from the top of the rocks I see him – Numbers 23:9

Beloved, it is a faithful saying worthy of celebration and rejoicing. That believers like you are favoured and are peculiar people.

See this affirmed severally both in the old and new testaments.

Exo 19:5 — Exo 19:6 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Titus 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | April 21, 2020 – YOU ARE FAVORED TO LIVE ETERNALLY WITH CHRIST | For from the top of the rocks I see him – Numbers 23:9

Because of this peculiarity, God called them, especially you to a lifetime of separated lifestyle.

Lev 20:23 — Lev 20:24 And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them. But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that floweth with milk and honey: I am the Lord your God, which have separated you from other people.

Leviticus 20:26 And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the Lord am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.

Over and over, the Lord reminded the children of Israel, never ever to be mixed with the heathen, but stand alone as a nation.

Numbers 23:9 For from the top of the rocks I see him, and from the hills I behold him: lo, the people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations.

Deuteronomy 33:28 Israel then shall dwell in safety alone: the fountain of Jacob shall be upon a land of corn and wine; also his heavens shall drop down dew.

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | April 21, 2020 – YOU ARE FAVORED TO LIVE ETERNALLY WITH CHRIST | For from the top of the rocks I see him – Numbers 23:9

Beloved, like the children of Israel, because you are a favoured believer , all through the pages of the scriptures, He reiterated His passionate call for you to live a separated lifestyle. See some of them.

Deu 18:9 When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.

Isaiah 52:11 Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the Lord.

Jeremiah 10:2 Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

1Co 5:9 — 1Co 5:11 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

2Co 6:14 — 2Co 6:18 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Eph 5:10 — Eph 5:12 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

1 Timothy 6:5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

2Ti 3:1 — 2Ti 3:5 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | April 21, 2020 – YOU ARE FAVORED TO LIVE ETERNALLY WITH CHRIST | For from the top of the rocks I see him – Numbers 23:9

This passionate call from the Lord becomes necessary because you are not of the world, even as He was not of the world.

Jn 17:14 — Jn 17:16 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | April 21, 2020 – YOU ARE FAVORED TO LIVE ETERNALLY WITH CHRIST | For from the top of the rocks I see him – Numbers 23:9

In addition to this call to separated lifestyle, He admonished you, not to be conformed to the world, also not to love the world and neither have cordial relationship with the worldings.

Rom 12:1 — Rom 12:2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

1Jo 2:15 — 1Jo 2:17 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | April 21, 2020 – YOU ARE FAVORED TO LIVE ETERNALLY WITH CHRIST | For from the top of the rocks I see him – Numbers 23:9

Beloved, this call to separation and admonition not to love the world are not optional but mandatory.

This is because of the consequences of associating with the world.

1. Make you turn from following the Lord and face griveous judgement.

Deu 7:1 — Deu 7:4 When the Lord thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou; And when the Lord thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them: Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son. For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the Lord be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.

2. Make you sin against God and be damned. You shall not be damned in Jesus name.

Nehemiah 13:26 Did not Solomon king of Israel sin by these things? yet among many nations was there no king like him, who was beloved of his God, and God made him king over all Israel: nevertheless even him did outlandish women cause to sin.

3. Makes you forsake the Lord and the narrow road and loose eternity with God. This shall not be your portion in Jesus name.

2 Timothy 4:10 For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | April 21, 2020 – YOU ARE FAVORED TO LIVE ETERNALLY WITH CHRIST | For from the top of the rocks I see him – Numbers 23:9

So heed His passionate call and be blessed now and at eternity in Jesus name.

Jeremiah 7:23 But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

Rev 2:25 — Rev 2:29 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. And I will give him the morning star. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
