Dearly beloved brethren, you must avoid the undoing of vast majority of those who profess religion in the church of Christ globally, and give no attention to God’s eternal words, but the sayings of some popular ministers.

These ministers by the virtue of their success in ministry, exalts their sensual sayings more than, thus say the Lord in the Bible.

Mark 7:5 -8 Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands? 7:6 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. 7:7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. 7:8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.

Beloved, pause here and examine yourself. Are you receptive to thus say the Lord in the Bible or the authoritative sayings of some popular ministers, perpetrating errors and dissuading you from believing the truth of the scriptures?

2 Timothy 2:16-18 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. 2:17 And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; 2:18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.
I understand more [ wiser, insight ] than the ancients [ aged ], because I keep thy precepts [ commandments ]. – Psalms 119:100

Beloved the only thing that will matter in the other world is your implicit obedience to thus say the Lord in the Bible and not the unscriptural sayings of any popular minister.

Jeremiah 6:16 Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Isaiah 34:16 Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.
Isaiah 55:10-11 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
I understand more [ wiser, insight ] than the ancients [ aged ], because I keep thy precepts [ commandments ]. – Psalms 119:100

It is noteworthy to follow the good example of king David, who addicted himself to the precepts of the Bible and discountenanced the sayings of the elders or aged men. See it yourself.

I understand more [ wiser, insight ] than the ancients [ aged ], because I keep thy precepts [ commandments ]. – Psalms 119:100

See this same passage in other Bible versions.

NLT
Psalms 119:100 I am even wiser than my elders, for I have kept your commandments.

AMP BIBLE
Psalm 119:100 I understand more than the aged, because I keep Your precepts [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying them].

See the same passage amplified

I understand more than the ancients; or, “the aged” Advanced age does not necessarily give wisdom “Antiquity is no help against stupidity” (Luther). Because I keep thy precepts.

Dearly beloved, see what the Bible says on the same issue m

Job 32:7-9 I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom. 32:8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. 32:9 Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.
Job 38:2 Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?

Beloved your firm and unchanging resolution till Christ comes should be, you ought to obey God rather than men and avoid ministers perpetrating false doctrines.

Act 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
Romans 16:17-18 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. 16:18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

The good Lord shall help you in particular to be wise unto salvation in Jesus name

I have more understanding [ insight ] than all my teachers: for thy testimonies [ statues and laws ] are my meditation. - Psalms 119:99

I have more understanding [ insight ] than all my teachers: for thy testimonies [ statues and laws ] are my meditation. – Psalms 119:99

Dearly beloved brethren, one of the novel and noble thing that can happen to anyone, is to be a Bible believing believer .

Praise God that is who you are. I celebrate you, please take full advantage of your heritage as a beloved, in the kingdom of God.

One major heritage you have as a Bible believing believer, is the wholesome truth of God’s eternal , unchanging words in the Bible, placed at your disposal.

John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
Isaiah 59:21 As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.
I have more understanding [ insight ] than all my teachers: for thy testimonies [ statues and laws ] are my meditation. – Psalms 119:99

Your understanding and application of these eternal words placed at your disposal, makes you in particular to be wiser than the most wisest man in the whole word.

This is because, all they have is sensual knowledge, which is a cistern that can not hold water in the next world.

Jeremiah 2:13 For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.
James 3:15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

Beloved, see some of the revealed eternal unchanging words, you know, that shall avail for you in the next world.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
John 3:16 -17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
John 14:1-3 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 14:2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
Romans 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
I have more understanding [ insight ] than all my teachers: for thy testimonies [ statues and laws ] are my meditation. – Psalms 119:99
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 Corinthians 15:19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
1 Peter 2:11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Revelation 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
Revelation 21:3-4 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Revelation 22:12-15 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
I have more understanding [ insight ] than all my teachers: for thy testimonies [ statues and laws ] are my meditation. – Psalms 119:99

Beloved, this wholesome truth , placed at your disposal, believed and applied by you, shall help you prepare adequately for the next world.

Very very unfortunately, the wisest men of this world are destitute of this and shall be totally unprepared for the next world and shall be damned.

Dearly beloved, this was the position of king David. He had eternal truths at his disposal that made him, wiser than all his teachers who were priding on their sensual knowledge, that could not availed for them in the next world. See this yourself.

I have more understanding [ insight ] than all my teachers: for thy testimonies [ statues and laws ] are my meditation. – Psalms 119:99

See this scripture amplified.

I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation. Teachers of secular knowledge are intended, wise in their special branches of learning, but not “wise unto salvation” Such “teachers” have often no spiritual knowledge or discernment.

Beloved, please take full advantage of the revealed eternal truths placed at your disposal, for a glorious ending in the next world.

Revelation 2:25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.
Revelation 3:10-11 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

May the good Lord help you in particular to be wise unto salvation in Jesus name.

I have more understanding [ insight ] than all my teachers: for thy testimonies [ statues and laws ] are my meditation. – Psalms 119:99

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | January 29, 2021 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies

Thou through thy commandments [ laws, decrees ] hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me. - Psalms 119:98
Thou through thy commandments [ laws, decrees ] hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me. - Psalms 119:98

Thou through thy commandments [ laws, decrees ] hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me. – Psalms 119:98

Thou through thy commandments [ laws, decrees and instructions ] hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me. – Psalms 119:98

Dearly beloved brethren, arise and live to the expectations of the Lord.

You have every reason to be wise and more wiser than satan , his cohorts and human agents.

This is because the sayings of Christ and the entirety of God’s eternal unchanging words, shall make you wiser than satan, in anything and everything.

Matthew 7:24-25 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 7:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
Deuteronomy 4:5-6 Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it. 4:6 Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.
Thou through thy commandments [ laws, decrees and instructions ] hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me. – Psalms 119:98

Beloved, it is true that, satan and his cohorts are subtle, and they have devices and wiles. See the following.

1. Subtle.

Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

2. Devices.

2 Corinthians 2:11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

3. Wiles.

Ephesians 6:10-11 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

But then you can always outmatched them, through acquisition and application of God’s unfailing unchanging words.
See what the Bible says

Proverbs 1:33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.
1 John 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
Thou through thy commandments [ laws, decrees and instructions ] hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me. – Psalms 119:98

These two things, knowledge of God’s eternal words and readiness to apply and obey them in all things and at all times, made king David to be wiser than all his enemies. See it yourself.

Thou through thy commandments [ laws, decrees and instructions ] hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me. – Psalms 119:98

See this scripture in other Bible versions.

NLT
Psalms 119:98 Your commands make me wiser than my enemies, for they are my constant guide.

AMP BIBLE
Psalm 119:98 You, through Your commandments, make me wiser than my enemies, for [Your words] are ever before me.

See this scripture amplified.

Thou through thy commandments made me wiser than mine enemies. The knowledge of God’s Law gives a wisdom and an understanding infinitely above the cunning and craft of worldly men. If to the knowledge is added a faithful and habitual obedience, a wisdom is attained which can be reached in no other way.
For they are ever with me. Always present to my thoughts, as my rule of life.

See the scriptures further affirms the wisdom of king David through God’s unfailing unchanging eternal words.

Psalms 119:100 I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.

Beloved, you too can be more wiser than satan and his cohorts, as you commit yourself to reading and hiding God’s unfailing unchanging words in your heart and applying them to every situation, confronting you.

Psalms 119:9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.
Psalms 119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

The good Lord shall help you in particular to be wise unto salvation in Jesus name

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | January 28, 2021 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day

O how love I thy law [ instructions, commandments, decrees, statues and ordinances ]! it is my meditation all the day. - Psalms 119:97
O how love I thy law [ instructions, commandments, decrees, statues and ordinances ]! it is my meditation all the day. - Psalms 119:97

O how love I thy law [ instructions, commandments, decrees, statues and ordinances ]! it is my meditation all the day. – Psalms 119:97

O how love I thy law [ instructions, commandments, decrees, statues and ordinances ]! it is my meditation all the day. – Psalms 119:97

Dearly beloved brethren, when you see what a person is doing with anything, it is easy to discover whether the person love that thing or despise it.

Our Lord Jesus Christ said, it is very easy to know whether you love Him. What you are doing with His words, reveal the extent of your love for our Lord. See this yourself.

John 14:21 -24 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 14:24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.

In the same token, if you in particular love the law of the Lord, it will show by what you are doing with it. See evidence of loving the law of God.

If you love the word of God, you will be thinking and meditating on it. The word will affect virtually every areas of your life.

Psalms 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
Psalms 119:15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.
Psalms 119:23 Princes also did sit and speak against me: but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.
Psalms 119:48 My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.
Psalms 119:78 Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: but I will meditate in thy precepts.
O how love I thy law [ instructions, commandments, decrees, statues and ordinances ]! it is my meditation all the day. – Psalms 119:97

No doubt, king David loved the law of the Lord. It was affirmed by his resolve to be meditating on them

O how love I thy law [ instructions, commandments, decrees, statues and ordinances ]! it is my meditation all the day. – Psalms 119:97

See this same passage in other Bible versions.

NLT
Psalms 119:97 Oh, how I love your instructions! I think about them all day long.

AMP BIBLE.

Psalm 119:97 Oh, how love I Your law! It is my meditation all the day.

See this same passage amplified.

O how love I Thy law! . As the psalmist goes on with his meditation he becomes more and more rated with a deep love of the Law of God, which is not to him a restraint or a burden, but a solace and a “delight” It is my meditation all the day .

Beloved see how other scriptures affirmed the love of king David for the law of the Lord.

Psalms 119:47 And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.
Psalms 119:48 My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.
Psalms 119:113 I hate vain thoughts: but thy law do I love.
Psalms 119:119 Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross: therefore I love thy testimonies.
Psalms 119:127 Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.
O how love I thy law [ instructions, commandments, decrees, statues and ordinances ]! it is my meditation all the day. – Psalms 119:97

Pause a little and sincerely examine yourself. Do you in particular love the word of God?

Your response should be affirmative yes. But if not, this is the time to love the word of God, because it is your security for partaking in the dawning rapture.

Receive grace to love and be doing the law of the Lord and be wise in Jesus name.

May the good Lord help you in particular to be wise unto salvation in Jesus name.

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | January 27, 2021 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | I have seen an end of all perfection

I have seen an end of all perfection [ Even perfection has its limits ]: but thy commandment is exceeding broad. - Psalms 119:96
I have seen an end of all perfection [ Even perfection has its limits ]: but thy commandment is exceeding broad. - Psalms 119:96

I have seen an end of all perfection [ Even perfection has its limits ]: but thy commandment is exceeding broad. – Psalms 119:96

I have seen an end of all perfection [ Even perfection has its limits ]: but thy commandment is exceeding broad. – Psalms 119:96

Dearly beloved brethren, it is time to learn from the painful folly of king Solomon, finding happiness and joy through inventions, ingenious and sensual knowledge of men.

At the end of which, he found total disappointment. See some of the things he did.

Ecclesiastes 2:11 Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labour that I had laboured to do: and, behold, all was vanity and vexation of spirit, and there was no profit under the sun.
Ecclesiastes 1:2-3 Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity. 1:3 What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun?
Ecclesiastes 1:14-15 I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit. 1:15 That which is crooked cannot be made straight: and that which is wanting cannot be numbered.
I have seen an end of all perfection [ Even perfection has its limits ]: but thy commandment is exceeding broad. – Psalms 119:96

See some of his acquisitions that ended up not given him joy, he lounged for.

Ecclesiastes 2:4-9 I made me great works; I builded me houses; I planted me vineyards: 2:5 I made me gardens and orchards, and I planted trees in them of all kind of fruits: 2:6 I made me pools of water, to water therewith the wood that bringeth forth trees: 2:7 I got me servants and maidens, and had servants born in my house; also I had great possessions of great and small cattle above all that were in Jerusalem before me: 2:8 I gathered me also silver and gold, and the peculiar treasure of kings and of the provinces: I gat me men singers and women singers, and the delights of the sons of men, as musical instruments, and that of all sorts. 2:9 So I was great, and increased more than all that were before me in Jerusalem: also my wisdom remained with me.
Ecclesiastes 2:15 Then said I in my heart, As it happeneth to the fool, so it happeneth even to me; and why was I then more wise? Then I said in my heart, that this also is vanity.
Ecclesiastes 2:17 Therefore I hated life; because the work that is wrought under the sun is grievous unto me: for all is vanity and vexation of spirit.

On the contrary living by the word of God, bring tremendous joy and happiness, that goes beyond the earth. They even have eternal benefits. See it yourself.

1 Peter 1:24 -25 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The gras s withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: 1:25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
Isaiah 40:6 -8 The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field: 40:7 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass. 40:8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

This was the experience of king David. He discovered that joy and happiness derived from living according to God’s words are lasting and even goes beyond this earth, with eternal benefits. See it yourself.

I have seen an end of all perfection [ Even perfection has its limits ]: but thy commandment is exceeding broad. – Psalms 119:96

See the same scriptures in other Bible versions.

NLT
Psalms 119:96 Even perfection has its limits, but your commands have no limit.

AMP BIBLE
Psalm 119:96 I have seen that everything [human] has its limits and end [no matter how extensive, noble, and excellent]; but Your commandment is exceedingly broad and extends without limits [into eternity]. [Rom. 3:10-19.]

Beloved , see the same scripture amplified.

Here we have David’s testimony from his own experience, 1. Of the vanity of the world and its insufficiency to make us happy: I have seen an end of all perfection. Poor perfection which one sees an end of! Yet such are all those things in this world which pass for perfections. David, in his time, had seen Goliath, the strongest, overcome, Asahel, the swiftest, overtaken, Ahithophel, the wisest, befooled, Absalom, the fairest, deformed; and, in short, he had seen an end of perfection, of all perfection. He saw it by faith; he saw it by observation; he saw an end of the perfection of the creature both in respect of sufficiency (it was scanty and defective; there is that to be done for us which the creature cannot do) and in respect of continuance; it will not last our time, for it will not last to eternity as we must. The glory of man is but as the flower of the grass. 2. Of the fulness of the word of God, and its sufficiency for our satisfaction: But thy commandment is broad, exceedingly broad. The word of God reaches to all cases, to all times. The divine law lays a restraint upon the whole man, is designed to sanctify us wholly. There is a great deal required and forbidden in every commandment. The divine promise (for that also is commanded) extends itself to all our burdens, wants, and grievances, and has that in it which will make a portion and happiness for us when we have seen an end of all perfection.
Beloved please learn this great lesson and focus your attention more on eternal things than temporal ephemeral, that have no eternal benefits.

Col 3:1 — Col 3:4 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
Deuteronomy 32:29 O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!

May the good Lord help you in particular to be wise unto salvation in Jesus name.

I have seen an end of all perfection [ Even perfection has its limits ]: but thy commandment is exceeding broad. – Psalms 119:96

The wicked have waited for me to destroy me [ hide along the way to kill me ]: but I will consider thy testimonies. – Psalms 119:95

Dearly beloved brethren, it is very important to know that, there is a great difference between you a Bible believing believer and the worldlings or unbelievers.

Exo 11:7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the Lord doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.

The unbelievers and the worldlings have reasons to fear, because of a truth, the devil and his cohorts, can do anything and everything with their lives. .

They are dust and the devil can feed on them any day and any how. See these yourself.

Genesis 3:14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
Genesis 3:17-19 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; 3:18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

But then, they can not and can never do same with you a Bible believing believer.

The wicked have waited for me to destroy me [ hide along the way to kill me ]: but I will consider thy testimonies. – Psalms 119:95

Because of this, you have no reason to fear anything and everything that has to do with satan and his cohorts.

2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Hebrews 13:5-6 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 13:6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

But then you need to know this and never ever be surprised, when you see it happening.

Satan and his cohorts, human beings and spirit beings, shall tirelessly be gathering together, plotting to do you hurt.

Don’t be perturbed about it and don’t bother, to pray about it, because you might be praying against the scriptures. See these yourself.

Isa 54:15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me:whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.
Psalms 56:6 They gather themselves together, they hide themselves, they mark my steps, when they wait for my soul.
The wicked have waited for me to destroy me [ hide along the way to kill me ]: but I will consider thy testimonies. – Psalms 119:95

Don’t bother about their gatherings and never ever be afraid about it. See the following scriptures in both old and new testaments, that assures you that, their evil plans and gatherings against you shall be futile.

Isaiah 8:9-13 Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces. 8:10 Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us. 8:11 For the LORD spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying, 8:12 Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid. 8:13 Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.
Isaiah 44:25 That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish;
Job 5:12 He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise.
Proverbs 19:21 There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.
John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
2 Corinthians 1:10 Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;
2 Timothy 4:18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
The wicked have waited for me to destroy me [ hide along the way to kill me ]: but I will consider thy testimonies. – Psalms 119:95

Beloved, this same confidence in the unfailing promises of God, was what king David was leaning on to protect him from the tireless plots of the cruel ones. See it.

The wicked have waited for me to destroy me [ hide along the way to kill me ]: but I will consider thy testimonies. – Psalms 119:95

See the scripture in other Bible versions.

NLT
Psalms 119:95 Though the wicked hide along the way to kill me, I will quietly keep my mind on your laws.

AMP BIBLE.
Psalm 119:95 The wicked wait for me to destroy me, but I will consider Your testimonies.

See the scripture amplified.

The wicked have waited for me to destroy me; or, “laid in wait for me” . But I will consider thy testimonies I will look to thy word of promise, and so sustain their assaults upon me.

Beloved like king David, be rest assured that nothing of the devil can hurt you. This is because, Emmanuel is always with you and shall be there until you are raptured to glory in Jesus mighty name.

Matthew 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
The wicked have waited for me to destroy me [ hide along the way to kill me ]: but I will consider thy testimonies. – Psalms 119:95

I am thine, save me [ I am yours; rescue me! ]; for I have sought thy precepts [ For I have worked hard at obeying your commandments. – Psalms 119:94

Dearly beloved brethren, always remember and don’t ever forget, that the benefits associated with obedience to God in all things, are numerous.

These benefits even extend beyond this life. It also affects your eternal well-being positively.

Those who choose to be disobedient to God, do so to their peril now and even at eternity.

Abraham received sworn blessings from God, because of his implicit obedience to Him.

Genesis 22:15-18 And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, 22:16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: 22:17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; 22:18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

Saints and Bible believing believers, like you are kept and preserved from all troubles on the account of your implicit obedience to God.

Psalms 91:14-16 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. 91:15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. 91:16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
2 Timothy 4:18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
I am thine, save me [ I am yours; rescue me! ]; for I have sought thy precepts [ For I have worked hard at obeying your commandments. – Psalms 119:94

Bible believing believers like you shall be part of the dawning rapture and avert the pains of great tribulations on the account of your obedience to God’s words according to Jesus.

On the contrary, those who choose to be disobedient to God, shall be exposed to painful and shameful difficulties here and hereafter. This shall never be your portion in Jesus mighty name.

Proverbs 1:24-31 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; 1:25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: 1:26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; 1:27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. 1:28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: 1:29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: 1:30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. 1:31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.
I am thine, save me [ I am yours; rescue me! ]; for I have sought thy precepts [ For I have worked hard at obeying your commandments. – Psalms 119:94

The choice of king David to be obedient to God in all things, was the strong basis for which, he pleaded with God to deliver him from his troubles and persecutors. See it yourself.

Psalms 119:94 I am thine, save me; for I have sought thy precepts.

See this scripture in other Bible versions.

NLT
Psalms 119:94 I am yours; rescue me! For I have worked hard at obeying your commandments.

AMP BIBLE.
Psalm 119:94 I am Yours, therefore save me [Your own]; for I have sought (inquired of and for) Your precepts and required them [as my urgent need].

See this scripture amplified.

Here, 1. David claims relation to God: “I am thine, devoted to thee and owned by thee, thine in covenant.”
2. He proves his claim: “I have sought thy precepts; I have carefully enquired concerning my duty and diligently endeavoured to do it.” This will be the best evidence that we belong to God; all that are his, though they have not found perfection, are seeking it.
3. He improves his claim: “I am thine; save me; save me from sin, save me from ruin.” Those that have in sincerity given up themselves to God to be his may be sure that he will protect them and preserve them to his heavenly kingdom, Malachi 3:18.

Beloved brethren, the greatest favor you can show to yourself, is to determinedly choose to be obedient to God in all things and at all times.

Jeremiah 7:23 But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.
I am thine, save me [ I am yours; rescue me! ]; for I have sought thy precepts [ For I have worked hard at obeying your commandments. – Psalms 119:94

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | January 24, 2021 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me.

I will never forget thy precepts [ Commandments and laws ]: for with them thou hast quickened me [ they are life to me ]. - Psalms 119:93

I will never forget thy precepts [ Commandments and laws ]: for with them thou hast quickened me [ they are life to me ]. – Psalms 119:93

I will never forget thy precepts [ Commandments and laws ]: for with them thou hast quickened me [ they are life to me ]. – Psalms 119:93

Dearly beloved brethren, there is a sharp remarkable difference between a Bible believing believer and empty professor of religion.

As a Bible believing believer, the word of God according to Jesus Christ must have finality over everything you are doing. Before a decision or a step is taking on any issue, you find out what the Bible says about it.

Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Beloved, because you are a Bible believing believer, who attaches utmost importance to your eternal well being, obedience to the entire sayings of Christ, for you is a compulsion.

At the end of time for you the word of God shall not judge you at eternity but justify you.

Matthew 7:24-27 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 7:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 7:26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 7:27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
John 12:46-48 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. 12:47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
I will never forget thy precepts [ Commandments and laws ]: for with them thou hast quickened me [ they are life to me ]. – Psalms 119:93

On the contrary, the empty professor of religion has no regard for God’s eternal words, when taking decision on anything.

The sayings of Christ are despised and rejected by them, so at the end of time at eternity, the unchanging words judge and damned them.

This shall not be your portion in Jesus name.

It was for this reason that king David took a firm resolution, never ever to forget or trivialise the eternal unchanging words of God. See his resolution.

I will never forget thy precepts [ Commandments and laws ]: for with them thou hast quickened me [ they are life to me ]. – Psalms 119:93

See this scripture in other Bible versions.

NLT
Psalms 119:93 I will never forget your commandments, for by them you give me life.

AMP BIBLE
Psalm 119:93 I will never forget Your precepts, [how can I?] for it is by them You have quickened me (granted me life).

See this scripture amplified .

Here is, 1. A very good resolution: “I will never forget thy precepts, but will always retain a remembrance of and regard to thy word as my rule.” It is a resolution for perpetuity, never to be altered. Note, The best evidence of our love to the word of God is never to forget it. We must resolve that we will never, at any time, cast off our religion, and never, upon any occasion, lay aside our religion, but that we will be constant to it and persevere in it. 2. A very good reason for it: “For by them thou hast quickened me; not only they are quickening, but,” (1.) “They have been so to me; I have found them so.” Those speak best of the things of God who speak by experience, who can say that by the word the spiritual life has been begun in them, maintained and strengthened in them, excited and comforted in them.

I will never forget thy precepts [ Commandments and laws ]: for with them thou hast quickened me [ they are life to me ]. – Psalms 119:93

Beloved see his resolution on God’s unfailing unchanging words affirmed by additional scriptures.

Psalms 119:16 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
Psalms 119:61 The bands of the wicked have robbed me: but I have not forgotten thy law.
Psalms 119:83 For I am become like a bottle in the smoke; yet do I not forget thy statutes.

No wonder God’s eternal words blessed him. The words provided him guidance, courage and strength in difficult times.

Psalms 119:50 This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.

Beloved the Bible says, you should follow what is good. So commit yourself to doing what Jesus our Lord said you should be doing with the entirety of God’s eternal words and His sayings and be blessed through your implicit obedience, like king David.

3 John 1:11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.
I will never forget thy precepts [ Commandments and laws ]: for with them thou hast quickened me [ they are life to me ]. – Psalms 119:93

Unless thy law [ instruction, commandment and decree ] had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction. – Psalms 119:92

Dearly beloved brethren, the. only one thing, that, kept the saints of old and believers in Bible days in their afflictions for the cause of God, was their deep and inexplainable love for God, for Jesus and the eternal, unchanging, unfailing words of God in the Bible.

See the following scriptures.

John 6:66-69 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. 6:67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? 6:68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. 6:69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.
Romans 8:35-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
2 Corinthians 4:17-18 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Hebrews 11:35-37 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: 11:36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: 11:37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;
1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
Unless thy law [ instruction, commandment and decree ] had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction. – Psalms 119:92

Our ever loving Lord has informed Bible believing believers of all ages and you in particular, that, this shall be your lots for His sake.

Matthew 5:10-12 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
John 17:14-15 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17:15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
Philippians 1:29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;
Unless thy law [ instruction, commandment and decree ] had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction. – Psalms 119:92

Beloved, when you see anyone who profess religion, departing from the faith, because of challenges, that the Bible refers to as common temptation and light afflictions.

It is because such people do not have enough love for God and Christ and His all sufficient unfailing eternal words in the Bible.

It was this inexplainable love for God and His words that are settled in heaven forever, that, king David said, enabled and empowered him to persevere in his difficult challenges. See it yourself.

Unless thy law [ instruction, commandment and decree ] had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction. – Psalms 119:92

See this scripture in other Bible versions.

NLT
Psalms 119:92 If your instructions hadn’t sustained me with joy, I would have died in my misery.

AMP BIBLE
Psalm 119:92 Unless Your law had been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction.

See the same scripture amplified.

Unless thy Law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction Only a real love of God’s commandments can sustain men under severe affliction.

The scriptures affirmed over and over about king David’s delight in the word of God. See some of them.

Psalms 119:16 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
Psalms 119:24 Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors.
Psalms 119:35 Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.
Psalms 119:47 And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.
Psalms 119:70 Their heart is as fat as grease; but I delight in thy law.
Psalms 119:77 Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law is my delight.

Dearly beloved brethren, your own love and allegiance shall also be proved, by the light afflictions, God is going to permit or has already permitted in your life.

The good Lord shall help you like, He did for king David and believers in Bible days in Jesus mighty name.

Your love for Him and His unfailing words shall empower you to persevere and be triumphant in Jesus mighty name.

Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

They continue this day according to thine ordinances [ regulations, laws, decrees and commandments ]: for all are thy servants. – Psalms 119:91

Dearly beloved brethren, this scripture in the book of Psalms, revealed something about humanity, the highest creation of God, that must not be fulfilled about you in particular.

It was a sad commentary about humanity, that everything God created, were obedient to the ordinances God gave them since creation, apart from humanity, that rebelled. See these scriptures.

Jeremiah 33:25 Thus saith the LORD; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;
Jeremiah 31:35-36 Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: 31:36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
Genesis 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
They continue this day according to thine ordinances [ regulations, decrees and commandments ]: for all are thy servants. – Psalms 119:91

Beloved, see the rebellious attitude of humanity in both old and new testaments.

Jeremiah 7:22-26 For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices: 7:23 But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you. 7:24 But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward. 7:25 Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them: 7:26 Yet they hearkened not unto me, nor inclined their ear, but hardened their neck: they did worse than their fathers.
Jeremiah 44:16-17 As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the LORD, we will not hearken unto thee. 44:17 But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.
Ezekiel 33:30-32 Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the LORD. 33:31 And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness. 33:32 And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not.
Mark 7:6-8 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. 7:7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. 7:8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
Romans 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Dearly beloved, this is the shameful and painful reality of vast majority of people inside and outside of the church of Christ.

Pause here. Are you obedient to God’s ordinances like every other creatures of God or fall into categories of humanity, rebelling against God? Your answer should be affirmative no. But if it is yes, please repent immediately, because of the eternal consequences of being rebellious.

See what the blessed Holy Spirit wrote through king David about the creations of God, obedient to His ordinances, since creation.

Psalm 119:91 All [the whole universe] are Your servants; therefore they continue this day according to Your ordinances.

See this scripture amplified severally.

1, They have continued to this day, and shall still continue to the end of time, acting according to the ordinances which were at first given them; for all are thy servants; they do thy will, and set forth thy glory, and in both are thy servants. ” All the creatures are, in their places, and according to their capacities, serviceable to their Creator, and answer the ends of their creation; and shall man be the only rebel, the only revolter from his allegiance, and the only unprofitable burden of the earth.?

2. They continue this day according to thine ordinances. Heaven and earth continue to observe the ordinances given them by God at the first For all are thy servants; rather, all things, or all creatures.

3. They continue this day – This verse should be thus read: All are thy servants; therefore, they continue this day according to thy ordinances “All the celestial bodies are governed by thy power. Thou hast given an ordinance or appointment to each, and each fulfils thy will in the place thou hast assigned it.”

They continue this day according to thine ordinances [ regulations, decrees and commandments ]: for all are thy servants. – Psalms 119:91

Dearly beloved brethren, be like our Lord Jesus Christ, during His earthly ministry was submissive and rendered implicit obedience to His Father from the outset to the end.

Philippians 2:5-8 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Hebrews 5:7-8 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

Beloved, go and do likewise and be blessed here and hereafter in Jesus name.
