Therefore I esteem [ regard and consider ] all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way. - Psalms 119:128

Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way (v. 128).

Therefore I esteem [ regard, appointments and consider ] all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way. – Psalms 119:128

Dearly beloved brethren, it is very easy to discover a true Bible believing believers from a person that is just professing religion.

The prophecies of the scriptures, concerning a person just professing religion is that, such people do not see reasons why they should believe the entirety of the revealed truth of the unfailing unchanging and eternal words of God, but they select the ones convenient for them.

Pause here and check up, do you delight in obeying the entirety of God’s Words in the Bible or you choose what you want to believe?

The consequence of such a decision is lost eternity, which shall not be your portion in Jesus name.

See what the Bible says about empty professors of religion.

1. They fall away from believing the totality of the scriptures.

2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

2. They depart from the faith, rejecting the total truth and accepting false doctrines of the devil.

1 Timothy 4:1-2 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
Therefore I esteem [ regard, appointments and consider ] all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way. – Psalms 119:128

3. They believe fables

2 Timothy 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

But then our Lord Jesus Christ during His earthly ministry and from glory said, such people shall be judged by the words they rejected at eternity and participated in the great tribulation.

John 12:46-48 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. 12:47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
Revelation 3:10-11 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
Therefore I esteem [ regard, appointments and consider ] all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way. – Psalms 119:128

In addition, such empty professor of religion shall have their names and part removed from the book of life and from heaven.

Revelation 22:18-19 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

The good knowledge of all the above revealed consequences for not embracing the entirety of the scriptures, was what made king David to resolve to esteem the entirety of God’s unfailing unchanging and eternal words of God. See it yourself.

Therefore I esteem [ regard, appointments and consider ] all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way. – Psalms 119:128

See this scripture in other Bible versions.

NLT
Each of your commandments is right. That is why I hate every false way.

AMP BIBLE
Therefore I esteem as right all, yes, all Your precepts; I hate every false way.

Beloved see this scripture amplified.

Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right. I do not pick and choose among thy commandments which I will neglect and which I will obey, but esteem them all as perfect, and obey them all. “

Dearly beloved brethren, because your earnest desire is to live with God for all eternity, then follow the good example of king David. This is because, the Bible says you should follow what is good.

3 John 1:11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.

The good Lord shall help you in particular in Jesus name.

Therefore I esteem [ regard, appointments and consider ] all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way. – Psalms 119:128

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | February 27, 2021 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | Therefore I love thy commandments above gold

Therefore I love thy commandments [ decrees, laws, ordinances, regulations, rules ] above gold; yea, above fine gold. - Psalms 119:127

Therefore I love thy commandments [ decrees, laws, statues, ordinances, regulations, rules ] above gold; yea, above fine gold. – Psalms 119:127

Dearly beloved brethren, the Bible reveals to you in particular, why Bible believing believers like you, should give the right place to God’s unfailing unchanging and eternal words of the living God.

See some of the things our Lord Jesus Christ said about the word of God.

1. The word should have finality over your life endeavors.

Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

2. The word provides you with godly wisdom.

Matthew 7:24 – 25 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 7:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

3. The word of God provides you with life and health.

Proverbs 4:20 – 22 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 4:21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 4:22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

4. When you abide by the words it will guarantee you good success.

Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

5. The word of God is a lamp that lightening your ways and guide you from falling into satanic snares.

Psalms 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Therefore I love thy commandments [ decrees, laws, statues, ordinances, regulations, rules ] above gold; yea, above fine gold. – Psalms 119:127

In addition, this word shall not pass away forever.

Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

This. Word is settled in heaven forever.

Psalms 119:89 For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.

God himself magnifies this word more than all His names.

Psalms 138:2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

It is this same word that determines your eternal well-being.

Therefore I love thy commandments [ decrees, laws, statues, ordinances, regulations, rules ] above gold; yea, above fine gold. – Psalms 119:127

Also it is your obedience to this same word that shall help you to avoid the fearful great tribulation that shall be fall this whole. world after the dawning rapture.

Revelation 3:10 – 11 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

No wonder, Job said, he gave prominence to the word more than necessary food.

Job 23:12. Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips;I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.

Beloved it was the understanding of all of these that made king David to love the word more than gold. See it yourself.

Therefore I love thy commandments [ decrees, laws, statues, ordinances, regulations, rules ] above gold; yea, above fine gold. – Psalms 119:127

See how this same word is revealed in other Bible versions.

NLT
Psalms 119:127 Truly, I love your commands more than gold, even the finest gold.

AMP BIBLE
Psalm 119:127 Therefore I love Your commandments more than [resplendent] gold, yes, more than [perfectly] refined gold.

See how this same scripture is amplified.

David here, as often in this psalm, professes the great love he had to the word and law of God and, to evidence the sincerity of it, observe, 1. The degree of his love. He loved his Bible better than he loved his money–above gold, yea, above fine gold. Gold, fine gold, is what most men set their hearts upon nothing charms them and dazzles their eyes so much as gold does. It is fine gold, a fine thing in their eyes they will venture their souls, their God, their all, to get and keep it. But David saw that the word of God answers all purposes better than money does, for it enriches the soul towards God and therefore he loved it better than gold, for it had done that for him which gold could not do, and would stand him in stead when the wealth of the world would fail him

What will you as a Bible believing believer do with this great revelation in light of eternity?

See what your resolution should be till Jesus comes.

Job 34:32. That which I see not teach thou me:if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.
Therefore I love thy commandments [ decrees, laws, statues, ordinances, regulations, rules ] above gold; yea, above fine gold. – Psalms 119:127

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | February 26, 2021 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | It is time for thee LORD to work

It is time for thee, LORD [ Jehovah ], to work: for they have made void [ for they break ] thy law [ commandment ]. - Psalms 119:126
It is time for thee, LORD [ Jehovah ], to work: for they have made void [ for they break ] thy law [ commandment ]. - Psalms 119:126

It is time for thee, LORD [ Jehovah ], to work: for they have made void [ for they break ] thy law [ commandment ]. – Psalms 119:126

It is time for thee, LORD [ Jehovah ], to work: for they have made void [ for they break ] thy law [ instruction and commandment ]. – Psalms 119:126

Dearly beloved brethren, the subject before you this moment is. the crux of the matter in Christendom. You really need to examine yourself.

Are you really Christlike ? I am strongly persuaded you are. But check up.

Do you have the most important attribute of our loving Father in heaven and Christ our Master and Lord? Do you know this attribute? See it yourself.

Hab 1:13 Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity:wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?
Hebrews 1:8-9 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. 1:9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
It is time for thee, LORD [ Jehovah ], to work: for they have made void [ for they break ] thy law [ instruction and commandment ]. – Psalms 119:126

Our Master and Lord and our loving Father in heaven hated sin and are intolerant to sin.

It is true that they love sinners to be saved, but they hated sin with passion.

See this admonition from the blessed Holy Spirit.

Eph 4:27 Neither give place to the devil.

What this means is that you should not give place to sin or you shall be found guilty of supporting or harbouring sinners.

Romans 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Beloved, Jesus our Lord , from glory frowned at churches or leaders of churches, where sin is tolerated. See it yourself.

Church 1.

Revelation 2:1-2 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; 2:2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:
Revelation 2:6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate.

Church 2.

Revelation 2:12 -15 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges; 2:13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth. 2:14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. 2:15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate.
It is time for thee, LORD [ Jehovah ], to work: for they have made void [ for they break ] thy law [ instruction and commandment ]. – Psalms 119:126

Church 3

Revelation 2:18-23 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; 2:19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. 2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. 2:21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. 2:22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. 2:23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

It was because, king David shared the same attribute with our Father in heaven and our Lord Jesus Christ, that was why, he was earnestly interceding for God to intervene and bring an end to sin. See it yourself.

It is time for thee, LORD [ Jehovah ], to work: for they have made void [ for they break ] thy law [ instruction and commandment ]. – Psalms 119:126

See this scripture in other Bible versions.

NLT
Psalms 119:126 lord, it is time for you to act, for these evil people have violated your instructions.

AMP BIBLE.
Psalm 119:126 It is time for the Lord to act; they have frustrated Your law.

Beloved, see how the Bible affirms the hatred of king David on those who flagrantly despise and disregard God’s unfailing unchanging and eternal words of God.

Psalms 139:21-22. Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee? 139:22 I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.

You shall not be godly or Chridtlike, if you are tolerating and giving place to sin.

You should not be, but if you are repent, to avoid judgements.

Job 34:32 That which I see not teach thou me:if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.

The good Lord shall help you in particular to be wise unto salvation in Jesus name.

It is time for thee, LORD [ Jehovah ], to work: for they have made void [ for they break ] thy law [ instruction and commandment ]. – Psalms 119:126

See you at the top in Jesus name

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | February 25, 2021 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | I am thy servant; give me understanding

I am thy servant; give me understanding [ [the ability to learn and a teachable heart] ], that I may know thy testimonies. - Psalms 119:125
I am thy servant; give me understanding [ [the ability to learn and a teachable heart] ], that I may know thy testimonies. - Psalms 119:125

I am thy servant; give me understanding [ [the ability to learn and a teachable heart] ], that I may know thy testimonies. – Psalms 119:125

Dearly beloved brethren, their is a price to pay to attain and acquire spiritual gifts.

They don’t just fall upon anyone like cherry mangoes.

Nobody can understand the word of God, without the Lord Himself, opening the understanding of such person.

Luke 24:45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
2 Timothy 2:7 Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.

Our Lord has promised to endow faithful Bible believing believer, unusual understanding and wisdom.

I am thy servant; give me understanding [ [the ability to learn and a teachable heart] ], that I may know thy testimonies. – Psalms 119:125

Yet you need to prayerfully desired them. See some of His promises.

Luke 21:15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.
John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

But then it would take earnest payers on your part, before these spiritual gifts are giving. See what you must do to receive them.

Proverbs 2:3-6 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; 2:4 If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; 2:5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God. 2:6 For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
Hosea 6:3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
I am thy servant; give me understanding [ [the ability to learn and a teachable heart] ], that I may know thy testimonies. – Psalms 119:125

Saints of old had unusual wisdom and understanding, given to them by God.

Joseph and Daniel were endowed with unusual wisdom.

Acts 7:10 And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.
Genesis 41:38-39 And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is? 41:39 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art:
Daniel 2:23 I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou hast now made known unto us the king’s matter.
Daniel 6:3 Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.

This unusual wisdom and understanding that God alone can give was the earnest prayer of king David to God. See it yourself.

I am thy servant; give me understanding [ [the ability to learn and a teachable heart] ], that I may know thy testimonies. – Psalms 119:125

See the same passage in other Bible version’s.

NLT
Psalms 119:125 Give discernment to me, your servant; then I will understand your laws.

AMP BIBLE
Psalm 119:125 I am Your servant; give me understanding (discernment and comprehension), that I may know (discern and be familiar with the character of) Your testimonies.

Beloved see the same passage amplified.

Give me understanding (a renewed understanding, apt to receive divine light), that I may know thy testimonies. It is God’s prerogative to give an understanding, that understanding without which we cannot know God’s testimonies. Those who know most of God’s testimonies desire to know more, and are still earnest with God to teach them, never thinking they know enough.

See other Bible passages affirming the earnest desire of king David for more wisdom and understanding from God.

Psalms 119:73 Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.
Psalms 119:144 The righteousness of thy testimonies is everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live.
I am thy servant; give me understanding [ [the ability to learn and a teachable heart] ], that I may know thy testimonies. – Psalms 119:125

These gifts are available today for all Bible believing believers, like you.

1 Corinthians 12:8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

But then only those who earnestly pray for them are given by God.

1 Corinthians 12:31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
Ephesians 1:15-18 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, 1:16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 1:18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

Beloved, do you have passion for God’s spiritual gifts? Then pray and you shall receive, like king David received in Jesus name

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
I am thy servant; give me understanding [ [the ability to learn and a teachable heart] ], that I may know thy testimonies. – Psalms 119:125

Deal with thy servant according unto thy mercy [ unfailing and steadfast love, loving devotion ] and teach me thy statutes. – Psalms 119:124

Dearly beloved brethren, you must wonder and ask yourself, why on earth, will people inside or outside of the church, ends up in hell.

By the time you ponder on the unfailing and unchanging attributes of our Father in heaven, not just one person on earth, should be damned and end up in hell.

You shall not be damned in Jesus name.

See some of the attributes of our Father in heaven. Merciful, great and tender mercies, gracious, forgiving and pardoning iniquities, longsuffering, abundant goodness, and compassionate etc

Beloved, see all of these affirmed by the scriptures.

Exo 34:6 And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, The Lord, The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,
Num 14:18 The Lord is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.
Micah 7:18-19 Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy. 7:19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
Psa 25:6 Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses;for they have been ever of old.
Psa 40:11 Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord:let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.
Psa 44:26 Arise for our help, and redeem us for thy mercies’ sake.
Psalms 145:9 The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.
2Sa 24:14 And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of the Lord; for his mercies are great: and let me not fall into the hand of man.
Dan 9:9 To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him;
Deal with thy servant according unto thy mercy [ unfailing and steadfast love, loving devotion ] and teach me thy statutes. – Psalms 119:124

Beloved, it was the knowledge of all the above about God our loving Father, that king David was imploring Him for, to deliver him from his challenges on the account of His unfailing mercies. See this yourself.

Deal with thy servant according unto thy mercy [ unfailing and steadfast love, loving devotion ] and teach me thy statutes. – Psalms 119:124

See this scripture in other Bible versions.

NLT

Psalms 119:124 I am your servant; deal with me in unfailing love, and teach me your decrees.

AMP BIBLE

Psalm 119:124 Deal with Your servant according to Your mercy and loving-kindness, and teach me Your statutes.

Dearly beloved, see how the scriptures further affirmed king David, pleading for God’s unfailing mercies.

Psalms 119:41 Let thy mercies come also unto me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy word.

Psalms 119:77 Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law is my delight.

So follow the good example of king David, whenever you are faced with difficult challenge. Plead with God to help you, because of His unfailing tender mercies.

Rom 9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

See the Bible says you should boldly ask for your Father’s unfailing tender mercies and you in particular shall surely have it always in Jesus name.

Hebrews 4:15-16 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | February 23, 2021 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | Mine eyes fail for thy salvation, and for the word of thy righteousness.

Mine eyes fail for thy salvation [ My eyes strain to see your rescue ], and for the word of thy righteousness. - Psalms 119:123
Mine eyes fail for thy salvation [ My eyes strain to see your rescue ], and for the word of thy righteousness. - Psalms 119:123

Mine eyes fail for thy salvation [ My eyes strain to see your rescue ], and for the word of thy righteousness. – Psalms 119:123

Beloved brethren, always remember, God is faithful. He can not and He will not lie. His integrity is committed to all His words.

Numbers 23:19-20 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? 23:20 Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it.
Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
Hebrews 6:18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

Dearly beloved, see what He said about the entirety of His words in the Bible. See the following.

Luke 1:45 And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.
Isaiah 34:16 Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.
Isaiah 46:10-11 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: 46:11 Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.
Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
Ezekiel 12:28 Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord GOD.
Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Mine eyes fail for thy salvation [ My eyes strain to see your rescue ], and for the word of thy righteousness. – Psalms 119:123

Beloved the faithfulness of God to His promises was the singular hope of king David now, when his challenges lingered and was hoping in the intervention of the Lord in His season. See it yourself.

Mine eyes fail for thy salvation [ My eyes strain to see your rescue ], and for the word of thy righteousness. – Psalms 119:123

See this scripture in other Bible versions.

NLT

Psalms 119:123 My eyes strain to see your rescue to see the truth of your promise fulfilled.

AMP BIBLE

Psalm 119:123 My eyes fail, watching for Your salvation and for the fulfillment of Your righteous promise.

See this scripture amplified.

David, being oppressed, is here waiting and wishing for the salvation of the Lord, which would make him easy. 1. He cannot but think that it comes slowly: My eyes fail for thy salvation. His eyes were towards it and had been long so. He looked for help from heaven (and we deceive ourselves if we look for it any other way), but it did not come so soon as he expected, so that his eyes began to fail, and he was sometimes ready to despair, and to think that, because the salvation did not come when he looked for it, it would never come. It is often the infirmity even of good men to be weary of waiting God’s time when their time has elapsed. 2. Yet he cannot hope that it comes surely; for he expects the word of God’s righteousness, and no other salvation than what is secured by that word, which cannot fall to the ground because it is a word of righteousness. Though our eyes fail, yet God’s word does not, and therefore those that build upon it, though now discouraged, shall in due time see his salvation.

Mine eyes fail for thy salvation [ My eyes strain to see your rescue ], and for the word of thy righteousness. – Psalms 119:123

Beloved, are you wanting for the fulfillment of God’s unfailing promises. Then remember the following:

Habakkuk 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
Hebrews 6:12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
Hebrews 6:15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
Hebrews 10:35-39 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward. 10:36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. 10:37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. 10:39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

Please wait patiently for the fulfillment of God’s unfailing promises.

Mine eyes fail for thy salvation [ My eyes strain to see your rescue ], and for the word of thy righteousness. – Psalms 119:123

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | February 22, 2021 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | Be surety for thy servant for good

Be surety for thy servant for good [ Ensure your servant's well-being ]: let not the proud oppress me. - Psalms 119:122
Be surety for thy servant for good [ Ensure your servant's well-being ]: let not the proud oppress me. - Psalms 119:122

Be surety for thy servant for good [ Ensure your servant’s well-being ]: let not the proud oppress me. – Psalms 119:122

Be surety for thy servant for good [ Ensure your servant’s well-being ]: let not the proud oppress me. – Psalms 119:122

Dearly beloved brethren, you do not have any reason to be afraid of what the enemies of God, can do against you..

No doubt they shall surely gather to do evil.

Isaiah 54:15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.

Beloved you have assurance and reassurance from the scriptures that, our Lord shall deliver you from all satanic ills, all the days of your life. See the following scriptures.

Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Hebrews 13:5-6 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 13:6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
2 Corinthians 1:10 Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;
2 Timothy 4:18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Colossians 1:12-13 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
Be surety for thy servant for good [ Ensure your servant’s well-being ]: let not the proud oppress me. – Psalms 119:122

King David, because of the recurrent incursion of the wicked ones against his life, pleaded with the Lord for reassurance of his safety. See this.

Be surety for thy servant for good [ Ensure your servant’s well-being ]: let not the proud oppress me. – Psalms 119:122

See this scripture amplified.

Be surety for thy servant, for good undertake for me against those that would run me down and ruin me.” He is sensible that he cannot make his part good himself, and therefore begs that God would appear for him. Christ is our surety with God and, if he be so, Providence shall be our surety against all the world. Who or what shall harm us if God’s power and goodness be engaged for our protection and rescue? He does not prescribe to God what he should do for him only let it be for good, in such way and manner as Infinite Wisdom sees best “only let me not be left to my oppressors.” Though David had done judgment and justice, yet he had many enemies but, having God for his friend, he hoped they should not have their will against him and in that hope he prayed again, Let not the proud oppress me. David, one of the best of men, was oppressed by the proud, whom God beholds afar off the condition therefore of the persecuted is better than that of the persecutors, and will appear so at last.

Beloved, see the reason why king David, was pleading with the Lord to guarantee, the security of his life.

Psalms 119:51 The proud have had me greatly in derision: yet have I not declined from thy law.
Psalms 119:69 The proud have forged a lie against me: but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart.
Psalms 119:78 Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: but I will meditate in thy precepts.
Psalms 119:85 The proud have digged pits for me, which are not after thy law.
Be surety for thy servant for good [ Ensure your servant’s well-being ]: let not the proud oppress me. – Psalms 119:122

The good Lord defended king David and the counsels of the proud oppressors came to nought

Psalms 91:14-16 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. 91:15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. 91:16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

This same thing shall the good Lord continue to do for you as you cleave to Him in holiness and righteousness.

Isaiah 54:14 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.
Job 5:12 He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise.
Proverbs 19:21 There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.
Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

The good Lord shall guarantee your safety till Christ comes in Jesus name.

Be surety for thy servant for good [ Ensure your servant’s well-being ]: let not the proud oppress me. – Psalms 119:122

I have done judgment and justice [ i have been righteous and just; ]: leave me not to mine oppressors. – Psalms 119:121

Dearly beloved brethren, it is true that you are a free moral agent.

This knowledge should help you and spur you to determinedly resolved to do right things at all times, knowing fully that you are going to reap what you sow before God.

See the following scriptures.

Galatians 6:7-8 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
Isaiah 3:10-11 Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. 3:11 Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.
Ecclesiastes 8:11-13 Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. 8:12 Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before him: 8:13 But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he feareth not before God.
Revelation 22:11-12 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

Beloved brethren, the knowledge of this unfailing truth was what king David was appealing to, before God, knowing fully that he had done what was right and lawful before God. See it yourself.

I have done judgment and justice [ i have been righteous and just; ]: leave me not to mine oppressors. – Psalms 119:121

See this same passage in other Bible versions.

NLT
Psalms 119:121 Don’t leave me to the mercy of my enemies, for I have done what is just and right.

AMP. BIBLE
Psalm 119:121 I have done justice and righteousness; leave me not to those who would oppress me.

See this same passage amplified.

David here appeals to God, 1. As his witness that he had not done wrong he could truly say, “I have done judgment and justice, that is, I have made conscience of rendering to all their due, and have not by force or fraud hindered any of their right.

I have done judgment and justice [ i have been righteous and just; ]: leave me not to mine oppressors. – Psalms 119:121

Beloved brethren, the Bible further affirms the seriousness of king David to God’s unfailing unchanging eternal words. See these.

Psalms 119:30 I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me.
Psalms 119:31 I have stuck unto thy testimonies: O LORD, put me not to shame.
Psalms 119:55 I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have kept thy law.
Psalms 119:56 This I had, because I kept thy precepts.

Like king David, brethren don’t ever forget, that what you are sowing today, you shall reap tomorrow and even at eternity, so resolve never to be doing evil, because of its consequences.

Pro 11:21 Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished:but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.

My flesh trembleth [ shuddereth ] for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments [ rules, laws, decrees and regulations ]. – Psalms 119:120

Dearly beloved brethren, as a Bible believing believer, you must cultivate right attitude before God at all times and in all places

This because your Father in heaven is both a God of love and justice.

Psalms 111:9 He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.
Psalms 89:7 God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.

It is very very important that you always behave appropriately before Him with reverential fear.

The scriptures reveals the biblical ways Bible believers like you should be relating with Him.

See the following:

1. Trembling at God’s unfailing unchanging eternal words?

Isaiah 66:2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
Isaiah 66:5 Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.
Ezra 9:4 Then were assembled unto me every one that trembled at the words of the God of Israel, because of the transgression of those that had been carried away; and I sat astonied until the evening sacrifice.
Ezra 10:3 Now therefore let us make a covenant with our God to put away all the wives, and such as are born of them, according to the counsel of my lord, and of those that tremble at the commandment of our God; and let it be done according to the law.

Habakkuk 3:16 When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he cometh up unto the people, he will invade them with his troops.

Acts 9:6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
Acts 16:29-30 Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, 16:30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
My flesh trembleth [ shuddereth ] for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments [ rules, laws, decrees and regulations ]. – Psalms 119:120

2. Godly biblical conduct and reverential fear

Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Hebrews 12:28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

3. Broken and contrite heart

Psalms 51:17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

4. Poor in the spirit

Matthew 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
My flesh trembleth [ shuddereth ] for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments [ rules, laws, decrees and regulations ]. – Psalms 119:120

Beloved brethren, it was the understanding of the love and justice of God, that made king David to conduct himself appropriately before Him . See it yourself.

My flesh trembleth [ shuddereth ] for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments [ rules, laws, decrees and regulations ]. – Psalms 119:120

See this same passage in other Bible versions.

NLT
Psalms 119:120 I tremble in fear of you; I stand in awe of your regulations.
AMP BIBLE
Psalm 119:120 My flesh trembles and shudders for fear and reverential, worshipful awe of You, and I am afraid and in dread of Your judgments.

Dearly beloved, see how the scriptures further affirms the right conduct of king David towards God.

Psalms 119:161 Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart standeth in awe of thy word.
Psalms 51:1-4 Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. 51:2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. 51:3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. 51:4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.

Remember the Bible says you should follow what is good, so begin to relate with God, henceforth with reverential fear, like king David.

3 John 1:11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.
My flesh trembleth [ shuddereth ] for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments [ rules, laws, decrees and regulations ]. – Psalms 119:120

Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth [ Thou hast caused to cease All the wicked ] like dross: therefore I love thy testimonies. – Psalms 119:119

Dearly beloved brethren, the Bible reveals some fearful and fearsome information about the wicked.

Here on earth and at eternity, they are separated from God.

The Bible reveals that these wicked people can be found in both inside and outside of the church.

The Bible says the wicked has forgotten about God and will not seek Him.

No wonder, the Bible says God is angry with the wicked everyday and shall be separated from Him, for all eternity. See the following scriptures.

Psalms 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
Psalms 7:11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.
Psalms 10:4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.
Psalms 34:21 Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
Proverbs 3:33 The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just.
Proverbs 11:21 Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.
Isaiah 3:11 Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.
Matthew 13:49-50 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, 13:50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

King David having so much love for the eternal unchanging and unfailing word of God, discovered and revealed the judgement of God on the wicked here and hereafter. See it yourself.

Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth [ Thou hast caused to cease All the wicked ] like dross: therefore I love thy testimonies. – Psalms 119:119

See this passage in other Bible versions.

NLT
Psalms 119:119 You skim off the wicked of the earth like scum; no wonder I love to obey your laws!

AMP BIBLE
Psalm 119:119 You put away and count as dross all the wicked of the earth [for there is no true metal in them]; therefore I love Your testimonies.

See this same passage amplified.

Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross. The wicked are ultimately separated from the righteous, and cast away “as dross,” since they can serve no good end Therefore I love thy testimonies.

Beloved I am persuaded that you are not part of the wicked and you should never be.

But then, going by the revelation of the scriptures above about the wicked,, check up whether you still remember God and seeking Him and you are obeying His words in entirety?

These are the things Bible believing believers like you should be doing. But if you are not, quickly do the needful.

Repent and follow up with necessary restitutions. The good Lord shall help you in particular to be wise unto salvation in Jesus name.

Acts 26:20 But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.
