And when Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominable idols out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from mount Ephraim, and renewed the altar of the LORD, that was before the porch of the LORD. – 2 Chronicles 15:7 – 8

Beloved, do you have passion to be fulfilled and actualize your noble dreams? You are desirous to labor tirelessly to attain your desired actualisation. You have not sin. It is a just cause. God will help you in particular to bring it to pass in Jesus name. See what the Bible says about it.

Proverbs 22:29 Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.

But then as you pursue this your noble dreams, be thoughtful of what becomes of it in another one hundred years to this time. It would have become irrelevant to you and the world around you. Think about it.

This is because you are a stranger and pilgrims on this side of heaven.

Hebrews 11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

Heaven is your eternal home and a day there is a thousand years.

2Pe 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

The Bible says those who labor for things that shall not be relevant again to them in another one hundred years, which is far less than a day in heaven, are not wise.

Psa 49:10 — Psa 49:12 For he seeth that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others. Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names.
Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish.

Beloved, for this not to be your portion and it would never be. It is for this reason Jesus counsel you in particular, not to labor for things that shall perish in another one hundred years.

John 6:27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

To be wise then and labor and receive incorruptible and imperishable rewards, labor to win souls and be occupied to advance His kingdom till He comes.

Proverbs 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.

Luke 19:13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.

Beloved, because you are in deed a Bible believing believer, heed this profitable and rewardable counsel from your most loving Lord, Like king Asa heeded the counsel of Oded the prophet and God rewarded him. See it yourself.

Beloved, see how God rewarded king Asa for profitable labor.

2 Chronicles 15:19 And there was no more war unto the five and thirtieth year of the reign of Asa.

Now see the promised eternal rewards awaiting you, if you too, like king Asa will heed His most prudent counsel of our Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Colossians 3:23-24 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

1 Peter 1:4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

Revelation 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

I am persuaded none of the above shall elude you. So be occupied , labor and win the unsaved in your world of influence for Christ, from now till He comes.

Neh 4:21 So we laboured in the work: and half of them held the spears from the rising of the morning till the stars appeared
