Beloved, right from the outset of creation, God your loving Father hath always separated light and darkness. See it.
Genesis 1:3-4. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
He at anytime does not want His own children, praise God you are one of them, to be doing what the ungodly people are doing. See what He said.
Isaiah 52:11. Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the Lord.
The people of the world from time immemorial have always corrupted themselves with iniquities and sodomy. See them yourself.
CORRUPTION
Genesis 6:12: And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
Genesis 7:1: And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.
SODOMY.
Genesis 19:4: ¶But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:
Genesis 19:7-9. And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly. Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof. And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.
Beloved, because of this, the blessed Holy Spirit gave very strict exhortations for the children of God, never ever to be conformed to the world. See these exhortations affirmed severally.
Romans 12:2. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Exodus 23:2: ¶Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:
Leviticus 18:26-27. Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you: (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)
Leviticus 18:29 -30. For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people. Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I amthe LORD your God. Deuteronomy 18:9-14. When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee. Thou shalt be perfect with the Lord thy God. For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the Lord thy God hath not suffered thee so to do.
Joshua 24:14-15. Now therefore fear the Lord, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the Lord. And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Proverbs 1:10 -11 ¶My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not. If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause:
Proverbs 1:15: My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:
Proverbs 4:14: ¶Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men.
Beloved , always remember whenever God gave these exhortations, all He demanded is prompt wholehearted obedience. When this is not done by anyone, what follows is rejection and punishment.
1 Samuel 15:22-23. And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.
But when God is obeyed promptly and wholeheartedly, blessings follow. I am persuaded that you shall be blessed because you will always obey Him and not conformed to the worldly practices of the unregenerate. Receive grace to do so in Jesus name.
Jeremiah 7:23. But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.
Psalms 119:60. I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.
Dearly beloved, our Lord Jesus Christ during His earthly ministry taught the believers then and believers of all ages, which includes you, how to endear themselves to God. What He taught them was obedience to the entirety of God’s words. This He said they would be able to do , because of the Spirit of God in them. See it.
John 14:15-18. If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
John 14:21. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
When believers determinedly obey the word of God, it will help them not to be conformed to the worldly practices. However, this their godly stance shall incur the wrath of the world against them.
John 7:7: The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.
John 14:30: Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
John 15:19: If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
John 17:14: I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
1 John 3:13: Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
To further helped them, the blessed Holy Spirit gave additional exhortations against believers conformity with the world. See some of them.
Romans 12:2. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Romans 1:32: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
2 Corinthians 6:14-18. Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
Ephesians 4:17-20. This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
But ye have not so learned Christ;
Ephesians 5:11-12. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
Philippians 2:15. That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

1 Peter 1:14-16. As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
1 Peter 4:1-2. Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
2 Peter 1:4: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
2 Peter 2:20: For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
1 John 2:15 -17. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
Dearly beloved, to prove your true love for Christ, then your response to these godly exhortations shall be
1. Living for Him alone.
2 Corinthians 5:14-15. For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
2. Obeying His commandments.
1 John 5:3. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
The reward will be receiving honour of the Lord on this side of heaven and living with Him in eternity at the end of time. These shall be your portion as you chose to be obedient to Him.
John 14:23. Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
John 12:26. If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
GODLY EXHORTATION AGAINST CONFORMITY WITH THIS PRESENT EVIL WORLD TO BELIEVERS OF ALL AGES, ESPECIALLY YOU. ROMANS CHAPTER TWELVE VERSE TWO .
Friend your decision and determined resolve to be part of the dawning rapture shall constrain you, not to be conformed with the world. It is painful but true, that those in Bible days, that did so were damned. You shall not be damned in Jesus name..
Genesis 19:26. But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
Jesus our Lord died on the cross principally to deliver you from this present evil world and its practices.
Now that you have been redeemed and claim to be expecting the coming of the Lord, His grace that saved you, should help you overcome their evil practices and you will not be conformed with them.
