Tit 3:2 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
Beloved, never ever be surprised as you see the unbelievers around you perpetrating evil, cruelty and indescribable wickedness. This is because the world will never ever change, until the Lord will destroyed it at the end of time. The unbelievers shall continue in their crookedness and perverseness.
Philippians 2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
There are two reasons while the world and it’s people shall continue in crokedness and cruelty.
1. The world had been sold out to saran, when Adam sinned at Eden.
Luk 4:6 — Luk 4:7 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.
2. Satan the god of this world is here, knowing fully that, this is his hour, but then, his time is running out.
2Co 4:3 — 2Co 4:4 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
This is his hour.
Luk 22:53 When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.
But his time is running our, the end of time is here.
Rev 12:11 — Rev 12:12 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
Beloved, because of all the above reasons, the unbelievers in the world will remain unchanged and will not read the Bible through which they could be saved. However, believers of all ages and that includes you are supposed to shine as light. Not joining them in their perversion, but becoming the Bible or epistle, that the unbelievers in the world must read and be converted.

Beloved this is the reason why you as a believer have two major assignments to promote the glory of God.
1. You must be a good citizen , performing your civic duties in your nation and supporting the government of your nation to administer justice and equity.
2. You must be a shining light or epistle through which unbelievers can be converted.
See how the Bible affirmed these two major assignments.

Beloved , see examples of saints in Bible days that fulfilled these two roles.
1. Joseph as a prime minister in Egypt, never embesseled the fund of the nation. He judiciously managed it with integrity and carried the entire funds to Pharaoh, the monarch.
Gen 47:14 And Joseph gathered up all the money that was found in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, for the corn which they bought: and Joseph brought the money into Pharaoh’s house.
2. Daniel as a president in Babylon performed his duties faithfully and was preferred.
Dan 6:3 — Dan 6:4 Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm. Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.
3. The believers at Antioch during the Bible days were shining light to their communities, to the point that the idol worshippers named them Christians, meaning little Christ.
Acts 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
Beloved, these two major assignments has God given believers of all ages, especially you to bring glory to Him and advanced the kingdom of Christ on earth. Don’t ever, ever forget. See the commandments of God to ensure they are carried out.
Lev 19:35 — Lev 19:36 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure. Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I am the Lord your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt
Pro 16:11 — Pro 16:12 A just weight and balance are the Lord’s: all the weights of the bag are his work. It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness.
Jeremiah 29:7 And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the Lord for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.
Psa 122:6 — Psa 122:8 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces. For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.
May the Lord find you faithful in discharging these major assignments in Jesus name.
Dearly beloved, we give all glory to God for given us Jesus, our singular, perfect example. During His earthly ministry, He did exactly what He taught, faithfully and definitionally.
Acts 1:1 The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach
1. He taught believers of all ages and that includes you to be law abiding and good citizens in their respective nations.
Mat 22:17 — Mat 22:21 Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not? But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites? Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny. And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? They say unto him, Caesar’s. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.
2. He did exactly what He taught.
Mat 17:24 — Mat 17:27 And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute? He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers? Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free. Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.
Now , He commanded believers of all ages including you to do what He did.
Mat 5:13 — Mat 5:16 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Now, the blessed Holy Spirit through apostle Paul, reemphasised the same thing , to believers of all ages and you in particular. See it.

See how the Bible severally affirmed this.
Rom 13:1 — Rom 13:10 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God’s ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
1Ti 2:1 — 1Ti 2:2 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
1Pe 2:13 — 1Pe 2:14 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.
Receive grace to do accordingly in Jesus name.
Friend, no doubt the end time is here and the rapture is dawning. But then only believers with integrity, living exemplary biblical lifestyle shall partake. I am persuaded that you shall partake in Jesus name. So continue to be faithful, shining as light and advancing the kingdom of Christ.

Don’t bother yourself with the crocked and pervesness of unbelievers around you. Shine as light and draw them to Christ.
Philippians 2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
Friend, you have abundance and sufficient grace to accomplish this task seemlessly.
Tit 2:11 — Tit 2:12 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
Doing this shall guarantee either your eternal well-being with enviable rewards or readiness for the dawning rapture.
Rev 22:11 — Rev 22:12 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
