Beloved, when you are aware of the realities of life, then it becomes easier to acquaint yourself with issues and circumstances.
Always remember this. As long as you are on this side of heaven, you shall find yourself passing through different seasons. Either as a saint or sinner, this is the lot of everyone on this side of heaven. See the way the scriptures describes and affirm it.
Genesis 8:22. While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
There will cone times when you face fearful situations. At that time, remember the restful caution and exhortation of your loving and unfailing faithful Father.
Psalms 56:3. What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
Isaiah 26:3-4. Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength:
Psalms 62:8. Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
Psalms 55:22: Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
Beloved, any time you are challenged in life, never ever think about man. Never ever run to the arm of flesh. Think about God. He alone is your dependable and unfailing helper who has good thoughts towards you. Reach out to Him at that time with wholehearted trustful prayers.
Jeremiah 29:11-14. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, saith the Lord: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the Lord; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.
See what He promised to do for you, when you turned to Him alone with wholehearted persevering prayers.
Jeremiah 33:3. Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
Isaiah 65:24. And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
Psalms 50:15. And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
Psalms 55:17: Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
Psalms 56:9. When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me.
Psalms 34:5-6. They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. This poor man cried, and the LORDheard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
Philippians 4:6. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Beloved, you must however, be mindful of this very important issue. If you want God to intervene concerning you, then, you must do away with all known sins. This is because sin will
Hinder God from answering your prayers, no matter how you persevere or the severity of whatever your challenges might be.
Psalms 66:18. If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:
Isaiah 59:1-2. Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
Proverbs 28:9. He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.
Are you presently going through traumatic situations, then cleanse your life of everything the Bible calls sins and wickedness and turn to God alone in persevering wholehearted prayers and very very soon, you shall have a testimony in Jesus name.
Luke 21:13. And it shall turn to you for a testimony.
Psalms 30:11. Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;
Dearly beloved, if there is somebody because of His position. that should be free from traumatic issues and pain. It should have been our gracious and merciful Lord and Master. His soul like yours too was severely troubled at a particular time in His life, during His earthly ministry.
John 12:27 Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.
Mark 14:33- 34 And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy; And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch.
Have you been weeping because of your situations in life? Jesus our Lord experienced same thing. He was never exempted. He wept too.
Hebrews 5:7. Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;
However, the amazing thing about our Lord was that, He lived a lifestyle devoid of worry and anxiety. This is something you should emulate from Him. Whatever and however the situations in your life might look like. Avoid worry and anxiety. See it.
Luke 13:31-33. The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee. And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected. Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.
The reason why the lifestyle of our Lord was free from worry and anxieties, was simply because of His prayerfulness. He had an altar of persevering prayers. See them.
Mark 1:35. And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.
Matthew 14:23. And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.
Luke 3:21-22. Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.
Luke 6:12. And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
Our Lord taught Bible days believers and by extension believers of all ages and you in particular to follow this same lifestyle. You should never ever be worried about anything.
Luke 12:22: ¶And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.
Just pray to God wholeheartedly and perseveringly.
Luke 18:1. And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
Luke 18:7: And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
Matthew 7:7-11. Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
John 15:7. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
John 16:23-24. And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
But most importantly Jesus warned them, to avoid sinful lifestyle, if they wanted God to answer their prayers. If you too wants speedy answers from God. Then stop sinning.
John 9:31. Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.
Now it was this freedom from worry and anxiety as a lifestyle taught and emphasised by Christ that the blessed Holy Spirit, through apostle Paul impressing on believers of all ages, especially you. See it.
Philippians 4:6. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Never ever be troubled by any challenges. Just pray and as you pray, breakthrough shall come.
Colossians 4:2: Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;
1 Thessalonians 5:17: Pray without ceasing.
See what happened when the church was faced with death threat. They never ran to the arm of flesh or were worry with anxiety. They simply prayed and God intervened. Please begin to do same.
Acts 12:1-11. Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church. And he killed James the brother of John with the sword. And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.) And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people. Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison. And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands. And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me. And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision. When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him. And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.
Friend, one thing that should make your heart rejoice and be assured that you are really preparing for the dawning rapture is this. Recurrent and unexplainable persecutions and assaults , coming tirelessly from satan and his cohorts against you.
This was what our glorified resurrected Lord, said from glory, will be happening to believers of all ages and that includes you as they prepare for His coming. See it.
Revelation 2:10. Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
But then as you are faced with this unexplainable troubles in the course of your preparation for this imminent event that can take place even today, don’t be troubled. Just pray and God shall surely keep you and deliver you from the entirety of the attacks of the devil. It shall be so in Jesus name.
Philippians 4:6. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
See how other scriptures affirmed this
1 Peter 4:7. But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
Ephesians 6:18. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
However, to help your prayers to avail and be answered, you must ensure the following things are in place.
1. Remain biblically righteous. Only the prayers of the righteous, God answers.
1 Peter 3:12. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
2. Keep on living a lifestyle of keeping the entirety of God’s commandments and be pleasing Him.
1 John 3:22. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
3. Keep on living expectantly for the time this event shall take place.
Jude 1:20-21 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
Receive grace to do so in Jesus name.
