Dearly beloved,. It is the most wonderful thing to come to Christ and be saved. It is the greatest thing that can happen to you, because, you become a beloved in the family of God.
1Jo 3:1 — 1Jo 3:2 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
But then being a beloved in the family of God, does not immune you from having different seasons, which are the common lots of all the inhabitants of this earth.

Genesis 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
Ecc 3:1 — Ecc 3:4 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh;a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
Whether you are a believer or not, you are going to be confronted sometimes with painful challenges, like lost of valuable properties or even lost of members of the family. You can even experience inexplanable sickness or any other challenges. The only difference is that God will be moderating the believers challenges and will do nothing for the unbelievers.
1Pe 5:8 — 1Pe 5:10 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

So beloved brothers and sisters, at a time like this, you must never allow it to separate you from your loving Father in heaven and Jesus Christ your compassionate Redeemer.
Rom 8:35 — Rom 8:39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
You must continue to be thankful to Him, that the challenges are moderated.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

In addition , even though you might not understand now, you must be persuaded that it is for your good.
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Because of all these God and only God should always be and continue to be your first and last resource.
Psa 42:1 — Psa 42:2 As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God:when shall I come and appear before God?
Psalms 42:5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.
Psalms 42:11 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me?hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him,who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
Psalms 43:5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
Psa 143:6 — Psa 143:7 I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah. Hear me speedily, O LORD: my spirit faileth:
hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.
Beloved brethren, the reason why you should do this is because, these present challenges are not peculiar to you. Even our Lord Jesus Christ and saints in Bible days had similar challenges and never were they separated from God.

See our Lord Jesus Christ, during His earthly ministry, He had His share of different seasons.
Matthew 26:38 Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.
Mar 14:34 — Mar 14:35 And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch. And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.
Psalms 22:1 My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?
Luk 23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.
John 12:27 Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.

See our beloved apostle Paul.
2Co 4:8 — 2Co 4:11 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
2Co 4:16 — 2Co 5:1 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2Co 7:5 — 2Co 7:6 For, when we were come into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on every side; without were fightings, within were fears. Nevertheless God, that comforteth those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus;
So beloved brethren are you presently challenged, cheer up and be looking unto Jesus, who has gone before you.
Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
