Beloved, pause and answer these simple questions. Are you really happy when you have a stubborn child, who disobeys every instructions given to him or her?

What do you think an employer will do to an employee that violates the company rules and regulations?

What do you think the principal of a school will do with a student who flagrantly disobeys the school laws and orders?

Your response to all these questions are very straight forward. You will want to instill disciple to correct the waywardness.

Has it occurred to you that globally, multitude of people who profess religion are just churchgoers and are really not children of God? This is because, God has nothing to do with disobedient people. He relates and associates with obedient children. See it yourself.

1Pe 1:14-16 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

Beloved, pause and be very sincere to your self. You profess to be a child of God. Which category do you fall into, obedient or disobedient child ? Is very simple to know where you belong to.

What do you do with simple instructions in the Bible? Do you obey them or you disobey, thinking you can placate God with your tithe, worship or service? Multitude shall be abysmally disappointed at the end of time.

This is because God attach so much importance to obedience than anything else.

1Sa 15:22-23 And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

Beloved, see what God expects from His children from time immemorial and is unchanging.

Exo 19:5 — Exo 19:6 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel

Jeremiah 7:23 But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

See what the lifestyle of saints in Bible days who have relationship with Him and compare your self with them.

Psa 119:60 I made haste, and delayed notto keep thy commandments.

Abraham

Gen 22:15-18 And the angel of the Lord called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the Lord, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

Isaac

Gen 26:1-6 And there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar. And the Lord appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of: Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father; And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws. And Isaac dwelt in Gerar:

Yourself henceforth.

Exodus 24:7 And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the Lord hath said will we do, and be obedient.

Receive grace to be an obedient child and enjoy a lifetime heritage of earthly and eternal blessings in Jesus name.

Dearly beloved, there was something that distinguished our Lord and savior Jesus Christ during His earthly ministry.

He was obedient to His Father in heaven in all things and at all times from the outset to the end of His earthly ministry. See this severally affirmed in the scriptures.

Phi 2:5-8 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Heb 5:7-8 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

John 4:34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

John 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

Jn 8:28-29 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.

John 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

John 17:4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

Luk 22:41-42 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

Dearly beloved, the Bible says you too should be like your master.

Luk 6:40 The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.

This is because everything He did were examples for you to follow.

1 Peter 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

Remember, while Jesus remains the only begotten Son and pleased His Father in all things.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

You are supposed to be one of the sons by divine election .

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

If you want to be accepted in glory at the end of time like Jesus. And you shall be accepted in Jesus name. Then you must be one of the obedient children. May the Lord help you in particular in Jesus name.

Friend, there is a fearful and fearsome event that shall follow immediately after the dawning rapture. You shall not witness it in Jesus name. It is called great tribulations. The Bible reveals believers who shall not witness it. See it.

Rev 3:10-11 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Friend to keep the word of His patience, simply means obedient children.

Since you are not going to be part of this fearsome event, ensure you are one of His obedient children. You must commit yourself to doing the sayings of Jesus.

This is because multitude of those who do not shall not be part of the dawning rapture or live eternally with God in heaven. This shall not be your portion in Jesus name.

Mat 7:21-27 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
