Are you a Christian or almost a Christian?

Are you a Christian or almost a Christian?Acts 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

Christians are little Christ. They are like king Jesus..

Acts  26:28 Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.

Almost a Christian are professing churchgoers with resemblance to satan.

Virtues of a Christian

Acts 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

2 Corinthians  5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Matthew  5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.  5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.  5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.  5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Luke  9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.  9:24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

Philippians  2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

Ephesians  4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Colossians  4:6 Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

1 Peter  4:16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

Revelation  14:4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.  14:5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

Vives of almost

2 Kings  17:41 So these nations feared the LORD, and served their graven images, both their children, and their children’s children: as did their fathers, so do they unto this day.

2 Timothy  3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Titus  1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

Examples; of Christians

Jesus Christ our Master and Lord.:

John  17:19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

Joseph

Genesis  39:9 There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?

Daniel

Daniel  1:8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

Peter and John

Acts  5:27 And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them,  5:28 Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us.  5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.  5:40 And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.  5:41 And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.  5:42 And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

Paul

Acts  20:22 And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:  20:23 Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.  20:24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

Examples of almost a Christian.

King Agrippa,  Nicholas, Aninias and Sapphire, Judas, Demas etc.

You:

Isaiah  33:15 He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;

Colossians  3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.  3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.  3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.  3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

1 John  2:28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

Examine yourself. The bucks stops with you.

2 Corinthians  13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

Remember you must be a Christian to see Jesus Christ our Master and Lord at the end of time.

Luke  1:75 In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.

This is because without holiness, no professing believer shall see the Lord

Hebrews  12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Let us pray.
