Enrich and Sustain your relationship with Jesus reading our daily devotional – – Genesis 2:15-17 – And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Beloved, the Bible is God’s wisdom in print. The onus is on you to acquaint yourself with this wisdom and get wiser. The good Lord shall help you in particular to be wise unto salvation in Jesus name.

Deu 4:5 — Deu 4:6 Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the Lord my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it. Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.

Everything written before that happened to others should be an issue of concern to you and for you to do everything to avert reoccurrence of the same thing from happening to you.

Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

1 Corinthians 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

You must know and never ever forget this. That God’s blessings are conditional.

Jer 18:7 — Jer 18:10 At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it; If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them. And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it; If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.

Be very thoughtful and consider what happened to Adam and Eve. God brought them to the good garden, God’s paradise on earth.

But then from inception, God told Adam the condition for Him to sustain this great blessing. See it.

Gen 2:15 — Gen 2:17 And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Adam and Eve took God for granted. They erred on the condition and they were driven out from the good garden. What a shame.

Gen 3:1 — Gen 3:7 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

Gen 3:22 — Gen 3:24 And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

There was another instance of God’s most beloved people on earth.

He brought them out of captivity of four hundred and thirty years by His might power.

He led them on their way to the promised Land with clear spelt constitutionality.

Six hundred thousand of them left Egypt. Because they took God for granted, only two of them got to the promised Land. What a shame.

Exo 12:37 And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children.

Only Caleb and Joshua got to the promised Land.

Num 14:30 — Num 14:34 Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun. But your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which ye have despised. But as for you, your carcases, they shall fall in this wilderness. And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your whoredoms, until your carcases be wasted in the wilderness. After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise.

Beloved , what is the essence of critically considering these shameful misfortunes.

It is for you to know that living in eternity with God or partaking in the dawning rapture is not just an easy venture.

If you desire it, you must go all out to meet with the well spelt out conditions for attaining it.

Rev 22:11 — Rev 22:15 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Beloved, innumerable numbers of so called ministers and believers have ended up in hell fire now, because they took God for granted and failed to meet with the conditions of making it to heaven.

Your case shall not be like this. So determinedly meet the conditions of partaking in the imminent rapture or glory.

Beloved, you need to come to realize that God place so much premium on obedience to Him, than every other things.

Jeremiah 7:23 But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

1Sa 15:22 — 1Sa 15:23 And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

It is very unfortunate that today’s motivational speakers and merchandise preachers globally places emphasis on offerings and rendering services in the church.

This is the singular reason why multitude of nominal churchgoers globally are ending up damned in hell.

See even to attain God’s blessings without sorrow on this side of heaven ,you need obedience to meet the conditions. See some of them.

Psa 1:1 — Psa 1:3 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners,nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord;and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water,that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success

Gen 22:17 — Gen 22:18 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

Exodus 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.

Exo 23:25 — Exo 23:26 And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.

Deu 28:1 — Deu 28:2 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.

Isaiah 1:19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

Isaiah 3:10 Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.

Job 36:11 If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.

The conditions are also well spelt out for you to attain spiritual blessings.

Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

Isa 55:6 — Isa 55:7 Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Act 17:30 — Act 17:31 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

Acts 13:48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

Act 16:30 — Act 16:31 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Exodus 32:33 And the Lord said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.

Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Beloved, see the conditions if you really want to partake in the dawning rapture or live with God in glory.

This is your heritage, but you must meet with the spelt out conditions.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

1. You must be biblically saved and become a new creature.

Mat 7:13 — Mat 7:14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Isa 35:8 — Isa 35:9 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein. No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:

2. You must be walking on the narrow road or the way of holiness.

Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Eph 5:25 — Eph 5:27 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

3. You must be sanctifiied and be living in biblical holiness.

Revelation 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

Revelation 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

4 You must ensure nothing sinful or defiling, removes your name from the book of life.

Rev 3:10 — Rev 3:11 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

5. You must be living by the entirety of the scriptures.

Beloved, don’t be like Adam or the children of Israel. Don’t take God for granted.

God’s grace can be sufficient for you to be ready for rapture or glory. The good Lord shall help you in particular in Jesus name.

Tit 2:11 — Tit 2:14 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
