And I will give him the morning star. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. – Revelation 2:28 – 29
Dearly beloved brethren, as the letter to the church of Thtiara is concluded, remember, it is worthwhile to follow Christ through thick and thin.
1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Revelation 14:4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. 14:5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.
Nothing must separate you from Him, no matter the severity of the challenges or opposition.
Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
John 6:60 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it? 6:66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. 6:67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? 6:68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. 6:69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.
And I will give him the morning star. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. – Revelation 2:28 – 29
Recount the few faithful brethren, that held on and cleaved to Christ, when His deity was been fiercely opposed, shall have unusual eternal rewards, when at last they overcome.
Revelation 2:24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. 2:25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.
Revelation 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
Acts 11:23 Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.
These faithful brethren shall have special reward. They shall have Christ Himself, that, they cleaved to, through thick and thin
Jesus our Lord promised them, the morning star.
Revelation 2:28 And I will give him the morning star.
This was one of the greatest reward. This is because our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, is the morning star. See it yourself.
Revelation 22:16
I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
Numbers 24:17 I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth.
Matthew 2:1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, 2:2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
This reward was the greatest.
I will give him the morning-star.
Christ is the morning-star. He brings day with him into the soul, the light of grace and of glory and he will give his people that perfection of light and wisdom which is requisite to the state of dignity and dominion that they shall have in the morning of the resurrection.
The morning star has ever been proverbial for brightness and beauty, and, as the harbinger of the day, is the bringer of light, life, and joy. Moreover, a star is often a sign of royalty: “.
This shall be the eternal reward of Bible believing believer, like you that overcomes at the end of time.
No wonder, the letter ended encouraging all churches, during the Bible days and till the end of time to follow the good example of these brethren.
And I will give him the morning star. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. – Revelation 2:28 – 29

Revelation 2:25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.
Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
This because eyes have not seen, ears have not heard what is in stock for you in particular, for loving Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
The good Lord shall help you in particular to continue to the end and overcome in Jesus name.
