So they feared the LORD, and made unto themselves of the lowest of them priests of the high places, which sacrificed for them in the houses of the high places. They feared the LORD, and served their own gods, after the manner of the nations whom they carried away from thence. Unto this day they do after the former manners: they fear not the LORD, neither do they after their statutes, or after their ordinances, or after the law and commandment which the LORD commanded the children of Jacob, whom he named Israel; – 2 Kings 17:32-34.

Beloved, there is something you will discover happening in viirtually in all churches and all nations of the earth.

It is not happening to everybody but then to some people. In fact it is a fulfilment of the scriptures. See it yourself.

1Ti 4:1 — 1Ti 4:2. Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

Multitude of the people going to churches are religious but not righteous. They are hypocritical and not sincere.

Unknown to these people, is the fact that God sees all things and weighs every actions..

Hebrews 4:13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

1 Samuel 2:3 Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the Lord is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.

Beloved, please examine yourself. Are you a sincere Christian or an hypocrite?

The consequences of this dastard behavior is dreadful and fearsome as revealed in both old and new testaments. See some of them.

Isaiah 33:14 The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?

Isaiah 9:17 Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is an hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

Isaiah 10:6 I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.

Job 15:34 For the congregation of hypocrites shall be desolate, and fire shall consume the tabernacles of bribery.

Matthew 23:23-33 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness. Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous, And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets. Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers. Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

Matthew 24:51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

This sinful attitude was what characterised the lifestyle of the children of Israel.

They claimed to fear God and yet they were worshipping idols . They were going to the temple for worship and also going to high places to sacrifice to idols. See it.

The same thing is happening in the church today, people that are coming to church and still persist in their sins. Living a lifestyle of shameful compromise.

They come for prayers in the church and still visit those who used familiar spirit for help.

Beloved , check up, are you a sincere Christian or hypocrite?

Are you a John in the church and Judas outside the church? Are you a Janet inside the church and Jezebel outside the church?

Do you still partake in witchcraft and familiar spirit and singing or doing something for God in the church in pretense and camouflage?

Because it is not God”s will for you to face eternal judgement and end up damned. Please repent and come out of all forms of hypocrisy.

Act 17:30 — Act 17:31 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

The mercies of God shall be your portion as you confess and forsake your sins in Jesus name.

Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
