Trusting Jesus , even when you are blind.

Trusting Jesus, even when you can not see.

Mark  10:46 And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.  10:47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.  10:48 And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.  10:49 And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.  10:50 And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.  10:51 And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.  10:52 And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

Bartimaeus was blind and heard that Jesus was passing.

He cried severally and was been cautioned to hold his peace and remain blind.

But he cried the more until Jesus heard his voice.

The church in Jerusalem did not hear any news about the realise of Peter, yet kept praying until God sent an angel to set him free, from the prison of death.

You can always trust God no matter what is happening around you.

When you are going through pains, you don’t understand, still trust God..

Job  13:15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.

When you are afraid and not sure of what might happen next, trust God.

Psalms  56:3 What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.

Every point in time, whatever is happening around you, trust God.

Psalms  62:8 Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.

Trust God wholeheartedly.

Proverbs  3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

When you need God to keep you in situations beyond your understanding, trust God.

When you have doctors reports and they are negative, trust God, He has the final say.

When you are facing financial difficulties and your work is not doing well, trust God.

Isaiah  26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

When you are blind to what is likely to happen to you because of your present situation, trust God.

Bartimaeus could not see Jesus. He was been discouraged by people who could see. He persevered.

Don’t give up. Don’t faint.. Keep on praying and patiently wait for God’s intervention.

Luke  18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

Bartimaeus got his prayers answed.

Mark  10:51 And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.  10:52 And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

Your own prayers too will be answered. You will be instantaneously healed from terminal longstanding or incurable,  Jesus stripes will heal you.

1 Peter  2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

But then are you an Israel of God?

Galatians  6:16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

Are you born again? Are you a new creature? Is your name in the book of life? Are you sanctified? Are you walking with God in biblical holiness lifestyle? Are you a wise virgin? Are you living in readiness for the imminent rapture?

Your response should be yes yes.

But if you are doubtful. Reach out to  Calvary. The crimson fountain is still flowing, go  and settle all issues.

Remember, seek ye first the kindgon of God and it’s righteousness. Then all other things effortlessly.

Let us pray.
