Jesus from the book of Ephesians

The bible from the book of Ephesians  reveals our Lord JESUS CHRIST as the Head of the Church.

Ephesians  1:22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,  1:23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

Ephesians 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

Ephesians 4:15: But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

Colossians 1:18. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

Consider the topic under three subheadings.

1. Jesus preserves His church bought with His precious blood.

2. Jesus’s presence with His church bought with His precious blood.

3. Jesus’s preparedness for the condemned  to be bought with His is precious blood

1. Jesus preserves His church bought with His precious blood.

Our Lord JESUS CHRIST is the head and bridegroom of His church, that, He purchased, with His precious blood.

Acts 20:28: ¶Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

Thanks be to our Lord, even though, now is in heaven at the right hand of majesty,  has never for once left His beloved church.

He is always there building it, to hinder the gates of hell from ravaging it.

Matthew 16:18: And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it .

He is always there in the midst at every gathering.

Matthew 18:20. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Revelation 2:1. Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;

Revelation 1:20. The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

2. Jesus’s presence with His church bought with His precious blood.

In addition our  Lord  keeps continually His faithful ministers.

Apart form this, when He was to ascend back to heaven, He promised to be with us always until the end of the age.

Matthew 28:20.  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Glory and honor be to Him forever and ever.

Ephesians 3:21: Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

3. Jesus’s preparedness for the condemned  to be bought with His is precious blood

With this knowledge placed at the disposal of  every mortal being, necessity is laid on all to speedily appropriate the redemptive  sacrifice of our Lord JESUS CHRIST.

From generation to generation, He has never rejected anyone that comes to Him, no matter the gravity of their past lives.

John 6:37  All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

Also to note is that, His sacrifice suffice to redeem all and sundry, once the willingness to receive Him is wholehearted.

Hebrews 7:25. Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

My dear beloved friend, listen to the gentle pleading of the Savior, who purchased us, His church with His blood.

He  is calling you to come now, before the door of life eternal closes..

I am confident you also will join us now, as we prepare for the marriage supper of the lamb, which will take place after the imminent rapture .

Let us pray
