THE BOOK OF OBADIAH .

TODAY, WE WANT TO STUDY WHAT THE BOOK OF OBADIAH AND DISCOVER OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST. HE IS REVEALED AS THE GREAT DELIVERER IN MOUNT ZION

1. CHRIST THE GREAT DELIVERER

WHEN YOU TALK ABOUT ZION. YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT GOD’S OWN PEOPLE. JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD REMAINS, THE GREAT DELIVERER OF HIS PEOPLE.
Hebrews 2:14-15
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
Colossians 2:14-15
Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
2 Corinthians 1:10
Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;

THE WORLD IS FIGHTING US IN ORDER TO HINDER US FROM SERVING OUR GOD IN HOLINESS.
Luke 1:74-75
That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him,all the days of our life.
2 Timothy 3:11
Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
Acts 12:11
And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.
2. CONDITIONS FOR GREAT DELIVERANCE
THE CONDITION FOR DELIVERANCE IS SPELT OUT IN THE BIBLE FOR EVERY ONE THAT DESIRE LASTING AND ETERNAL DELIVERANCE.
Obadiah 1:17
But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness;and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.
Psalms 34:17
The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth,and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
Psalms 34:19
Many are the afflictions of the righteous:but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.
Psalms 91:14-15
Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
VS 15
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him:I will be with him in trouble;I will deliver him, and honour him.

3. COMFORT FOR THE GLORIOUS DELIVERANCE.
Obadiah 1:17

THROUGH CHRIST GLORIOUS DELIVERANCE EVERYTHING THAT WERE LOST AT EDEN WERE RECOVERED AND RESTORED TO THE REDEEMED.

Genesis 1:27-28
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
THE LOST IMAGE WAS RESTORED.
Ephesians 4:20-24
But ye have not so learned Christ; If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
THE LOST DOMINION WAS RESTORED.
Romans 16:20
And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
THE LOST TREE OF LIFE WAS RESTORED.
Revelation 2:7
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
THE LOST PROSPERITY WAS RESTORED.
Galatians 3:13-14
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
EVERY YOKE OF BONDAGE WERE BROKEN.
