Giving to receiving from God.

Giving to receiving from God.

God gave Jesus and continue to have many sons.  Hebrews  2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.  2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

Jesus gave His life. John  10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

He wants you to give and receive bountifully from Him, here and hereafter

Mark  11:2 And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him.  11:3 And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither.  11:4 And they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door without in a place where two ways met; and they loose him.  11:5 And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt?  11:6 And they said unto them even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go.

Like these people you are called to give.

1. Your  heart.

Proverbs  23:26 My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.

2. Your substance not remnant.

Proverbs  3:9 Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:

3. Your time.

Luke  10:38 Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.  10:39 And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus’ feet, and heard his word.  10:40 But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.  10:41 And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:  10:42 But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

Your treasure.

John  12:1 Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.  12:2 There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him.  12:3 Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.

Your service.

1 Corinthians  15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Your love

2 Corinthians  5:14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:  5:15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

Then He will give bountifully to you here and hereafter in Jesus name.

Luke  6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

John  10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:  10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Let us pray.
