Bishop Peter Babalola is the G.O [ general overseer ] whose pastoral call and present spiritual engagements were long in coming. His colleagues and associates at UPS and the marketing profession saw it coming.

After 25 years, eight of which as regional manager with United Parcel Service (UPS) in Nigeria, Bishop Peter Olusegun Babalola retired from secular work, in August, 2012 into full time ministry as the founder and G.O of Calvary Light of Christ Bible Church.

He is a chartered Marketer with an MBA and a fellow of Nigerian Institute of Marketing.

Today as the G.O, Bishop Babalola’s dynamic style and deep insight into the word of God have endeared him to his members and those who hear him. He has authored a book titled: GOD’S HELPING HAND.

This humble servant of God is loved by many of his colleagues and Pastors and the Christian community in general for his simplicity, peace loving nature and openness to all persons. He is one man of God who is very approachable so much so that people of all ages can come to him irrespective of the social status or standing. He is very compassionate, kind, loving with a large heart for the poor and needy in society

His growing church is impacting lives in the Ikotun area of Lagos where he and his wife Catherine and their children live.
